Description of Work: Brooks Flooring installed carpeting in my entire upstairs area; in addition, they replaced one vinyl bathroom floor with new vinyl. I thought the price was reasonable, and the workmanship was excellent. I was very pleased and will definitely recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Overall a good experience. We love and are very pleased with our carpeting. The only negative thing I might mention would be the promptness of their arrival. They were 45 minutes late to come and measure and 30 minutes late to install. Other than that, it was a great experience. We would do business with them again.

Description of Work: My overall experience was ok but there were some hitches that made it less than ideal. I wanted a soft carpet and the sales person directed me to the Mohawk silk carpet which IS extremely soft. She neglected, however, to inform me of issues with it being extremely difficult to vacuum. Brooks tried to make this right by giving me a credit that covered half of the cost of a new vacuum that works fairly well. The other issue was that on the day I was scheduled for installation, they called and had forgotten to order the carpet so it was a day and a half later before they could install. This was extremely incovenient as I been very deliberate in scheduling the installation during a busy month for us. Again they did try to make it right and as a compensation stretched a room of old carpet at no charge. The installers did a good job, but this is the first carpet I ever bought that they left no scraps at all such as small pieces that could be used in the future if a repair is needed. After a few weeks I contacted the sales manager and asked for a copy of the warranty so I would know what is required of me to keep the warranty valid (such as having the carpet professionally cleaned periodically, etc). He said he would get it to me. I contacted him a second time but 4 months later I still do not have it. |Bottom line: The carpet is very nice. Had I known the vacuuming issue I would not have bought it. How it will wear remains to be seen. The installers were fine. Brooks did try to address my issues. My advice is to deal with the owner or a manager, do a lot of research and comparison shop to make sure you want to proceed.

Description of Work: Our salesperson was nice, but was rather slow in responding to requests at times. She was also a little disorganized. The installation was well done, but the carpet, which was supposed to be "stain-proof," does not seem to be performing as advertised.

Description of Work: Brooks Flooring did an estimate for a new vinyl floor for kitchen, dining room, and hallway. I was able to order a very nice quality floor which is considered "Good" but is an excellent look and quality. The installers were detailed in the installation - centering the pattern under sink for a professional look. Also the pattern is matched and accurate all throughout the area. The new flooring makes such an amazing finish to our total kitchen remodel. I am very pleased with this company's services and professionalism.

Description of Work: Purchased high quality vinyl flooring for kitchen, mud room and two full bathrooms after a full renovation. Selection was reasonable given that the store was also undergoing renovations at the time. We were able to take sample pieces home for several days to determine which patterns we wanted. The estimator had no problem applying the Angies List discount. Checked around and their priceand timing were the best available. Crew of four came to install over one and a half days which is what they had told me it would take. They were very good about making sure patterns matched and insisted that there were not going to be any seams in a bathroom which is what the estimator had allowed for.

Description of Work: Brooks Flooring was a exceptional experince. They priced the product agressively, provided high quality in service, were very prompt, did all the take up, and used a high quality sub contractor (Inline Tile) for the installation. Brooks Flooring contracted with us to do a entire house (we used a tile that had the appearance of wood for most rooms, we had seen this in a home in Florida and it is animal and child proof), beautiful tlle in 3 bathrooms, and animal/child friendly carpeting in 3 bedrooms.

We had a pretty complicated carpet installation, and they provided lots of options for us. the prices were the best we found by far, and this was after shopping around with larger chains and 'discount' stores. the sales team was very knowledgeable, and went the extra mile to help us out, including free quotes and 2 house visits with samples. the installation crew was friendly, very fast and did excellent work. I will definitely call Brooks for any future flooring needs and will recommend to anyone that asks.
