Ron F. was our Certified Field Inspector. He arrived on time, demonstrated a high level of professionalism and in-depth knowledge of how to solve our issues. We are very pleased with the feedback and suggestions of Ron in guiding us to an affordable solution.

Normally, I am not a fan of leaving negative reviews like this. But, I have never had a company treat me this poorly in my 31 years on this earth. Something needs to be said. First, the crew's behavior was completely unacceptable - They left cigarette butts and food wrappers all over my lawn, constantly wasted my time being late, broke all of the vent covers to my crawlspace, and literally screamed the words **f**king p**sy** in front of a bunch of neighborhood kids (among many, many other things). Do not trust these people in your home. Second, the job itself was completely botched, and I have the City of Charleston inspection notes to prove it. Among other things, they only encapsulated part of the crawlspace, left standing water everywhere, set up the dehumidifier wrong, and they **installed** a jack under the house so poorly that I could literally push it out of place with one finger. Understandably, I got fed up and asked how I could go about cancelling the job. They never responded to that question, I did not hear from them for almost 4 months after asking. So, I hired a local company to clean up their mess, at no small expense, and went on with my life. Then, out of the blue, after 4 months, they reached out and threatened to put a lien on my home if I did not pay up. Just to be clear, they never even sent me a bill, and they still had my $2500 deposit. I did not owe them a dime (if anything I want my damn deposit back). Yet, here they are making threats. And that, my friends, is why I am writing this review. It is understandable if your crew drops the ball with a customer. Not every job is going to go right, and even good employees have bad days. But, if you treat paying customers like absolute garbage, eventually people are going to speak up. Take your money somewhere else, Charleston. Plenty of local companies who will do right by you.

I had almost immediate response any time I have called this company, and they worked with me to my satisfaction. Ray Sherbert was the foreman and Nick, David, and Oscar were his crew when they did work for me on April 9, 2020. They worked very hard and answered all of my questions. Super nice young men.

Grey, Billy and Dedant was great. Good not have been happier with anyone else. These guys are great workers .

I was very pleased with the everyone I encountered in person and over the phone, they were very pleasant, courteous and professional.

Excellent work done on my house. . They company is expensive. relative to other companies But you get what you pay for. . Particular strengths were no additional labor charge and no depth charge added to their estimate prior to the work.

Great service

They were very professional and easy to work with. I chose them because their evaluation of my issues was both more thorough and more complete than was offered by other candidates (they have in-company engineers, an external expense with other vendors).

After an initial issue with services rendered, I was very unhappy and was not getting a response. I left a very negative review here. Since then they have called back, sent an Engineer to review the work done and have offered to make good, at their own cost, this issue I was having. I over reacted. They were back on site within 48 hrs and now I am very satisfied with their response and offer to complete the job. A solid company I would use them again.

I sign a contract however the work won't be done until the 3rd week of April. I will be better prepared to rate their service then. Merritt Gnatt came out, inspected the crawl space and gave us an estimate. He explained the reason for the problem and proposed a solution. We excepted the estimate and wait for the work to be done. He was very courteous, friendly and did not pressure us at all. Gail Miller, Taylors SC.

There was quite a bit of confusion between the sales/customer rep and the work crew on what was suppose to be completed, but after a couple of returns, the work was completed and the work was professional.

We had two companies look at our house to address our concerns. Mount Valley was far more professional and the salesperson seemed to really understand what was needed. Additionally, the other company planned to bring in heavy equipment through a planting area. Mount Valley did it all by hand with posthole diggers and shovels with an amazingly minimal impact on our yard and property. We didnt get the names of the first crew that started the work, but the second crew of William Cheek, Steve Budden, Eric Ashlock and Granison Peterson were every bit a good as the first crew. All told, this was a very expensive project, but we felt that we got our money's worth with Mount Valley.

Everything has its limitations.

I had some settling in my foundation and I suspected it was pretty significant. I called Mount Valley to give me an estimate and discuss the extent of the damage. I showed them all cracks inside and outside of the home. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me I had minimal settling and then showed me what would need to be done to correct the problem. They also told me what was causing the other cracks and reassured me they were not due to the foundation and that some were common age-related cracks. They could have easily made the job "bigger" than it needed to be and I am happy they did not. After they were finished installing a few piers, we had some heavy rains so the dirt they filled back in settled and I had a few holes in the area. I called them to inquire about them and they sent a crew out that day and added more soil to fill in the holes. Their customer service was wonderful, the crew kept me informed while they did the work, and they backed up their work by addressing any concern I had. I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Shannon Stamey came out today to give us an estimate concerning driveway and sidewalk settling issues. He was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Also very thorough with an additional inspection under the house.

Showed him all the problems inside the house, cracks above doors, crown molding separating from ceiling, closet door not closing .He checked out side and under the floor. Came back inside and explained what needed to be done. The price was reasonable. I set up an appointment to have the work done. Signed contract on Feb 22, 2018 with Richard Medford. The guys came on March 8, 2018 at 9AM to do the work. I was pleased with how they worked.

Customer oriented. I had an issue and it was quickly addressed.

I would like to wait 3 months before answering this.

They know there stuff and finished the work in great time! Unfortunately I got a coupon after I received the estimate and it could not be applied, that kind of stunk, but overall great work and would recommend to others.

They arrived on time. They listened to my concerns and took extra care meet my needs. When finished, the clean-up could not have been better.
