Tried very hard to work with these people at Best Services. Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT use them for any installations for AC/Heating. Especially if you are an elderly person such as my mother (they have literally taken advantage of her no doubt at 86 years old), for they will leave an absolute mess, tear up what did exist, leave it half undone for you to figure out later while it does not work, leaks 2-3 gallons of water onto your ceiling before you, not them, can get it fixed, and not communicate with you. Their supervisor told me they would repair my mother's discolored kitchen ceiling. Took him at his word, so much for that. Not real sure where all these 4 and 5 star reviews come from, unless it is a small caulk job, or from family members. Sent: Monday, July 11, 2022 9:43 AM To: '
[email protected]' Please see below the pictures I have taken, along with (2) two videos and my mother’s payment for the “new” unit. As per my discussion with Kristi (?) in your office, I am .....’s oldest son, and I spent Saturday morning looking at the installation, and the water damage since she could not reach anyone, or no one returned her calls. The old ductwork that comes to the unit has now been cut by the drain pan, which has been bent, along with the other one. Somehow when they put it back together it leans right to left, putting all the pressure on the metal lip of the drain pain which is now bent, and has cut the insulated ductwork which is sucking in hot air. If you turn around between the (2) two units, there is a huge gap in the duct work, where someone taped half of the duct, but left the other half untaped. It blew cool air on the back of my neck. I pushed the loose brick under the unit, propped the drain pan up on the corner, drained the plastic pan I had put to catch water (it had about 2 gallons or more in it already.) I noticed that the quote you gave my mother included a “new drain pan if necessary”, I believe it to be necessary, and I also think this “new” installation needs someone to go back an inspect it for all the flaws in the ductwork etc. I would like to be there when you or your crew comes out there to look at this. Her roof in the kitchen will need repairing, and I will be getting her homeowners insurance company involved. We would appreciate anything you could do to remedy this situation immediately. My personal cellphone is; My work information is below. Thanks. Sent: Wednesday, July 13, 2022 12:00 PM To: '
[email protected]' Subject: FW: (Pictures below) Good morning I hate to be a pain but my mom is still having issues with this new install. Her thermostat is set at 70, but when I first got there (approx. 6:50pm) it was reading 75. (She said it had gotten as high as 77) I went up in the attic, the guys had done a much better job of mounting the unit, but right off the bat I found (2) two major leaks drawing in the hot air from the attic, or blowing cool air into the attic. I placed my hand under the bottom of the right side this time, and there was moisture on my hand. So now it looks like it is going to leak on the other side. We need to get someone out there that can seal ALL the leaks that have been created. I have found (4) four or (5) five the (2) two days I have been up there, and I know just enough about air conditioning to be a hazard to whomever I am helping. Please let me know what you can get done. My cellphone number is I would also like to talk about maybe just starting all over again, but this time take the one unit and heat/cool the whole house. I will be calling soon. Just sent another e-mail on 10/6/2022. Do not really expect much from it either. Phone conversations absolutely get you no where.
