On December 3rd, 2012, my parents moved out of their house in Conway and needed to estate sale quite a lot of stuff. They knew of Henry's from having lived in the area 20+ years and wanted to use them. I started calling and emailing Henry's 6 weeks before the move. After numerous emails (none of which were answered) and numerous phone calls, speaking with Margaret, I convinced her to call my parents and go over to see what they had. She never called me back to say that she'd been over, so I called again and attempted to set up a firm date for them to pick up the goods at the house. She said that she'd have to have someone call me back. I never got a call back. This conversation happened several times. We set a date for during the move - which got cancelled. So, we crammed everything into the garage and set a new date for the weekend after the move. Our realtor opened up the garage and Henry's no showed. It probably took another month before they finally came and picked up the stuff. There was no list or manifest of goods, no contact from them regarding when the items would be auctioned - there was nothing. My parents decided to move back into their house and contacted Henry's (in writing and verbally) to tell them not to auction their goods. They moved back to the Conway area on March 4th, 2013. Shortly thereafter, they contacted Henry's to arrange for the return of their property. After more of the same struggle with Henry's, they were able to get their goods returned. Henry's hadn't even unloaded the trailer yet. Don't use them.

They agreed that I could take anything from my shipment from Alaska. I went there at least 8-10 times, and they kept giving me excuses as to why I couldn't access my belongings. There excuses ranged that the wife wasn't there, they were about to close, or they didn't have the tables ready. They placed my things outside in the grass. None of my furniture was assembled, and when they sold it, they sold it extremely cheaply. I feel I was ripped off and manipulated. I wasn't able to take any of my belongings, and some of my belongings that weren't suppose to be in the auction were placed in the auction. I feel they are a dishonest company.
Description of Work: They had my shipment from Alaska and they were auctioning all my belongings.
