I had not been able to get my refrigerator's ice-maker to function for over a week when I joined Angie's List and searched for a repairman. Several companies came up on my computer. I selected the GEAppliances.com and promptly got a service requested form. This form explained that I would receive a call confirming the appointment and gave me a confirmation number. First thing the next morning I received a call from Matthew, who identified himself as the GE technician who would coming and telling me that his visit would be after noon, which freed up my morning to do errands away from home. Matt called again when he was on his way to my home. He asked questions regarding the needed repairs and answered questions which I had. Matt was very professional and personable. He quickly restored the ice-maker function and found the problem with the water flow to the water dispenser. I had overloaded the freezer and refrigerator-which caused a 'freeze-up' in the water supply line. The broken auger and bin assembly for the ice-maker had to be ordered and Matt said it would arrive ready to be put into service.I was very pleased with Matt's professionalism, he was able to explain what I had done wrong without making me feel like 'a dumb blonde'. I would recommend him to anyone.

The service was great, I have no complaints. The guy was on time, he knew what he was doing and fixed it and it's been working ever since. I use my microwave everyday.
