A complete furnace check up. The person who came out was polite and respectful.

After writing a bad review I was contacted by the company and they apologized for any inconvenience and refunded my $139. They said that the technicians were unable to accurately estimate cost of a job and they would speak to the technician about this, and about not seeing that the furnace was having an issue when he serviced it. Their response to my dissatisfaction was very professional, and I probably should have spoken with them at the time of the second visit . Because of this problem ressolution , I would recommend them in the future.

Once I purchased their special on Angie's List, I was contacted the next day to schedule an appointment for the following week. Scott came out, and did a very good job of explaining the work before getting started, and completed the job within the estimated time. However, we did run into one surprise. Since the house was newly constructed, all of the water lines were run using PEX, which they were not equipped to tie into. Once he noticed it, Scott gave me the option of cancelling the job, or having him install the humidifier without the final water connection. I chose the latter, and contacted a plumber to make the final tie in. Overall, I am satisfied with the work, and the humidifier seams to be working well.

They were great. They arrived on time and they performed the services that I asked. I think I've used them before. Both times, I had really good people who told me extra things that someone previously did not tell me, which was really helpful. I've seen cheaper ones but I know if the service is good. I've used them twice which is why I went with them. Their quality is great. They got me an appointment the next day.

They didn't contact me at and I had to contact them. They were able to schedule me pretty quickly. The technician shared info with me about the furnace. He forgot to connect the hose on the gas furnace. I called him and he came back to connect it. He was great. I would just recommend being more cautious.

We were very happy with them and signed on to have them do our yearly maintenance. We have been very happy with the level of professionalism and their customer service. Lee, the technician who comes to our house, is always punctual and knowledgeable about our system. He is always willing to answer questions and will give advice when needed.

It was fine. I ended up being charged way more then I expected. He seemed like he was training someone when he was there. I felt like I was put on the spot that I had to resolve everything he said right then and there. He had to have the last cigarette before he walked in. My tenant was having really high heating bills which I never had when I lived there. They never could tell me why the heating bill was so high. Then I got talked into a monthly service package. I feel like I waited there longer then I expected, I had to go into work late.

The technician arrived in the window provided by the company. They also called when the technician was leaving the previous job to indicate they would be on their way. Technician was professional, knowlegable and was able to quickly identify the issue with the furnace. Due to the age of the furnace I chose to not complete the service. The technician provided me information about their replacement units and offered to schedule an appointment for the company to come provide a replacement estimate. Overall the 20 diagnostic call was well worth it, what a great value special.

They did a nice job. The pricing was a bit high but it was worth the money. They showed up on time and were very professional.

They were able to work with our schedule on installing the system. It took three days to install and the workers arrived promptly at 7 am and stayed until 5:30-6. We did encounter one problem that I think was just bad luck. The pump on the second system ( we needed 2 systems) did not work. However, they did replace the pump within 24 hours. They also installed thermostats that are programed to work on our phones. We have noticed that the tempature and humidity in our home is more comfortable. The house is always at a steady temperature. I am eager to see what our savings is over the next few months. I would recommend switching to geothermal for a cost savings, comfort and environmental reasons. It is expensive up front but I think in 5 - 6 years it will have paid for itself.

So here is the skinny. The technician came over and was very conscious about walking in my house as it has been raining. He put some booties on his shoes so not to mess up my carpet. This was a tremendous upside on the professionalism piece and much appreciated. For the most part the technician was quiet, as we were listening for the banging sound I occasionally heard which prompted the call in the first place. He did explain what the sound was and used very well placed terminology I could understand. He explained how we could resolve the issue as well as explain that it isn't a threatening problem, but more of a comfort problem. He also gave me some suggestions that could help without tearing the duct work out and using some better metal. The part I dinged a little on the professionalism piece was regarding the upsell. I really hate the idea of upselling folks on products that aren't necessary or even really professional opinions. I see that it was a part of the script to offer maintenance plans or a major installation to get more service. I think it is tacky and hate those positions because it makes a relatively good service call visit turn into that awkward silence moment. I'm not buying, I'm sure there are people that do, but I'm not one of those people. I think it would be good as just a heads up to me in the future but not pinning me on the spot. I'm not going to make an $800 snap decision to get a heater installed. Overall it was a good visit, the tech was knowledgeable and I have my piece of mind.

This was my second interaction with Signature. Had it not been for the high degree of professionalism, I probably would have selected any of the highly rated AC/heating companies listed on Angie's. Unfortunately, our HVAC unit was spewing out mild air for the past several months. Once we hit a spell of cold days & nights, my wife and I decided it was time to get a new system - as Signature and other companies advised in the past. We called Signature to re-evaluate our current system and options. The representative - Brad Gess - came to our home on a Saturday. He was very personable and obviously well-versed on the equipment. He also added other points, such as the training and certification all Signature installers and sales reps had to complete each year so that their installations are done correctly...and they understand the current technology and techniques. We decided on an option within my budget ($8000). However, I will say that other companies offered systems that had better "stats" at a lower cost. Some offered similar solutions for $1000-$2000 less than Signature, but with better "numbers" (BTU, SEER, etc.). But because I liked the interaction with Signature, I was very comfortable with their solution and price, even if it was higher than others! They have so many payment options that made this a painless purchase. When I asked how soon they could perform the installation, Brad said they could complete everything on Monday! As promised, the installers arrived at 7am, ready to go! Both were very friendly and respectable. They introduced themselves, and gave me a summary of what they were going to do. As they made their way through my home, they made sure to close the doors behind them, move things in/out carefully, and didn't track dirt through our living room and kitchen. At one point, they were waiting for the new system to arrive. I wouldn't have minded if they stayed in the basement. However, they went outside and waited in their truck. I thought that was a respectable thing to do! They completed the installation a lot sooner than expected. By 3pm, they were showing my wife & I how to program the system, how the basement unit worked, as well as how & when we could perform maintenance items. Great company, great team, and would not hesitate to refer them or use them again! Now I know why they're highly rated on Angie's List!

I selected Signature for purchase/installation of a whole house humidifier based on the reviews found on Angie's List, and I would like to add to the large number of satisfied customers. Everyone that I have spoken to at Signature has been very responsive, knowledgeable and professional. The service mechanics (Scott/John) very patiently explained the system and how to get the most out of it, not to mention delivered a clean and professional implementation of the system. I would also like to add that, due to my own personal oversight, I did not provide Signature with a complete overview of what I needed the humidifier system to do. Upon clarifying my need, the Signature team made the necessary adjustments to the system and I now have a great system that fully meets the need of my situation. I am 100% happy with the Signature team and the Aprilaire product that they installed, and will certainly look to them in the future. Thanks!

Wade arrived on time and began inspecting the furnace. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. After the inspection was finished, he showed me details about the furnace and the attached humidifier. I was very happy with Wade's knowledge, honestly, and professionalism. He explained my options (I have a 19 year-old furnace) and I decided to consider replacing it in the future.

It was good. They got the job done in about one hour. The technician was good.

We had called Signature because our master bathroom was freezing and we were possibly interested in their maintenance program. I had contacted them through their website and I received a call back immediately to set up service. They were able to come out that day. I was very impressed with how responsive they were! The technician was scheduled to come sometime between 12-2, but he didn't show up until 3:30. The technician checked our heating system and said that everything is working properly (which we figured, considering the other heating vents in the house are working). He suggested that a pipe may be disconnected, but that either a snake would need to be fed through the pipes or that we could start cutting into the walls and try to see if there are any disconnected pipes. We asked if he could send the snake down to see if that was the problem, but he said Signature doesn't do that. However, after a conversation with a manager at Signature, they were able to track down a snake (they don't have one, but they made a few calls on our behalf and were able to get one). We have been very impressed with how much extra effort Signature has put into helping us fix the heating problem in the bathroom. Costumer service goes a long way, and Signature has definitely delivered!

.Bought the house July 2013. I purchased my house last year knowing the HVAC systems were original to the house (1982) I got a year out of the system but the oil furnace cost a fortune to run last winter and the AC was not very efficient. The hot water heater already had both elements replaced shortly after moving in so I knew that was past its useful life ( lots of sediment). I had several competitors come in to spec out the job. I was interested in converting from oil to natural gas ( already in house for cooking). I looked into both an 80% and 96% efficient furnace and matching (sized) AC. The hot water heater needed to be pulled anyway to do the job so I wanted that replaced. I researched the various manufacturers for systems ahead of time to get familiar with cost of ownership and terminology. In addition I wanted the old oil tank removed as part of the job. Long story short: Signature was the last quote- mainly because Comfort Systems never showed. Horizon was too pricey. I also didn't like the manufacturers they were selling. I preferred the Daikin systems based on the research. Bill Duffy was the sales specialist. He was extremely knowledgeable and pointed out things missed by the others. He didn't try to up-sell and listened to me for what I wanted. This was a complex job. They actually brought out an installer a week before to make sure the quoted work made sense and nothing was overlooked. The installation crew were extremely professional. More importantly they sent enough technicians to actually do all the work in one day. They were neat and the work area was clean. No surprises I went with the 96% unit. The additional PECO rebates and the fact I didn't need to replace the chimney liner made the two systems pretty much cost the same net out-of pocket. Great crew and company.

They were wonderful but I was not able to utilize the deal since I have an oil burner. The technician was very pleasant and they were very truthful.

They were very careful to explain the equipment, the process of installation, and the project schedule. Everything happened exactly as they gave us to expect. Their bid was slightly higher than a competitor's bid, but their professionalism and follow through made us very comfortable with them. We were very happy with our decision.

It went great. They arrived on time, actually early,before 7AM. They start early and planned to complete ripping out and installing on the same day. They had 4 people part of the time until the old system was removed. They had other people come in and pick up the old equipment for recycling. They finished after 5PM and went over the entire system with me before leaving. Everything is working great. I'm very happy with the installation. I did a good deal of research on the different brands. The one they offered, Daikin, is relatively new to the U.S.. It has an excellent rep from what I read and, were offering a great discount at the time I purchased.

I met with Bill from Signature Heating & AC based on the great experience I previously had with them last year. My AC unit was leaking Freon and was on its last leg. We had 14 years of service from both the AC and Heating gas burner. Bill from Signature went through all the different options for sizes and efficiencies offered from both AC, Heat Pumps, and Gas Burners. There was no pressure to purchase anything extra and he said they could just replace the AC unit if that is what I wanted to do. He and his team were extremely knowledgeable and professional. They did the installation, removal, and clean up of everything in one day. There must have been at least 6 people on their team with multiple service trucks. I couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. This was a big job and an important investment in my property, so I was slightly apprehensive. Afterwards I thought about all the savings that will be accumulating now from the new efficiencies of my equipment. Again I could not have been more pleased with the outcome.

This is the second time I've used them. The first was in the summer when my AC went and now to do maintenance on my furnace. Both times they were on time, friendly, and professional. As soon as they come in the house they put on booties over their boots so that they don't dirty anything up. They always explain everything they are doing and the tradeoffs of the work. In other words, they don't push the work on you, but rather they explain the work and what the pros and cons are of doing it now vs waiting. They also seem to be up to date on technology. Their techs have IPads with an APP that is great for customer service. I've used them twice and it looks like they will be my provider of the future as well. Well done!

Exceptional experience all around. Sales process was very smooth and not pushy, unlike many other providers we received quotes from. Installation of the new furnace and AC unit was seamless and performed by extremely professional crew. Signature even sent a tech out the next day to ensure we were fully satisfied. Overall, we could not be happier and would highly recommend Signature.

Everything checked out fine. We also wanted a new filter for our central humidifier; the service man had the part on his truck and installed quickly. All pricing was very good. Wade, the service man, was very knowledgable and helpful in helping us understand what to expect from our furnace. and the periphery.
