The techicians called me the next morning 9/20/2011 at 8:30am telling me they would be at my home within 45 min. They arrived within that time and got to work. Steve and Anthony were very courteous and professional. They answered my questions about the work, the parts, and compressor they were using to remove extra moisture from the system to make it run more efficiently. The new motor was faulty and they called to have another delivered while they were replacing the coil. They got everything replaced, explained the routine maintenance I need to perform on my April Air, and reminded me how frequently I need to replace the filter on my furnace. While I felt this parts and service was expensive, it was well worth it to me with my busy schedule and frequent travel with my job. It was great to call one day and have all of the necessary work completed the next.
Description of Work: Called on 9/19/2011 to see if I could get someone to come and look at my furnace/AC as the blower fan was not running. They sent a technician to my home in just under an hour to check my furnace. It was discovered that the coil was rusted from freezing over as well as my April Air humidifier spraying water on the coil over the years. The water/condensation dripping off of the coil was not dripping properly into the drip pan so it was dripping directly on the fan. It eventually got warped and started running the fan housing which caused the motor to burn out. The technician gave me several options from: just replacing the coil, blower motor, blower fan, and fan housing (least expensive of the options and the one I selected but still $2500) replacing the entire furnace replacing both the furnace and A/C unit (extremely expensive) They had to have the parts overnight from TX and they agreed to cover the cost of the overnight shipping of $125.
