We came home from vacation to a broken sump pump. Not only did it stop working, a seal broke and oil leaked all over our basement. With a pending rain storm, I started to look for someone who could help me immediately. My call was answered immediately on a Saturday afternoon. They came out, replaced the sump pump and made sure the work areas was clean. They were so friendly and professional. They were also extremely honest about the price and some options that were available for replacing the pump. I would highly recommend hiring this company for any repair. They were wonderful.

From our first phone conversation, through the subsequent estimate visit and extended wait for some necessary input from the Water Department, Andy and Kevin were extremely helpful and communicative without being at all pushy. Paradigm did not come in with the cheapest bid for my project, but I felt they would do the best work and I have no regrets in my decision. They (and their entire crew) were punctual, professional and very respectful of my home. They wold me exactly what hey would be doing, and when. This work required ripping out drywall and jackhammering through tile and a lot of concrete (extremely messy work) in an area that is open to the entire rest of my house, and I had very minimal cleanup to do when they left. I was amazed at the dust control procedures they used. I have been battling moisture along this wall for the 6 years I have owned the home, and this approach should solve it for good. Time (and rain) will be the ultimate test of the system they put in, but I am optimistic.

Paradigm were my first quote and I wanted to hire them right away. Being a new home owner, I thought I should get several quotes from different companies. In the end, my initial feeling was correct, they were the right company for the job. The owners came out to give me a written estimate on the spot. The following week they were in my basement doing the job. The whole crew was friendly and courteous, they worked quickly without cutting corners, and they cleaned up well after the job was over. Then the owners (who were on site the entire job) took me to the basement and explained everything in language that was easy to understand. I'm very happy with their work and would definitely hire them again. I'm glad I went with my gut!

These guys are exactly what you're looking for in a service provider. Friendly, punctual, professional, respectful, good communication, fair, and priced right. If I had more work that needed to be done - I'd hire them again.

Haven't had work done yet. Placed bid on home that has basement water issue. Found Paradigm Home Solutions on Angie's List and was impressed with ratings. Called for appointment to get estimate and spoke with Andy, who accommodated our schedule, meeting us the next day. Took time to explain options and pricing without any sales pitch hype. Pricing seems very reasonable. We will be scheduling the job right after settlement.

Andy and Ross were wonderful to work with. I contacted them for estimates back in December and they came to look at two of my properties the day after I called. Communications by phone and email have been very pleasant, and they were incredibly responsive at all stages. I also appreciated that they treated me respectfully, dealt honestly and fairly, and didn't lay on an aggressive sales pitch. As a young woman, I don't always get treated that way when obtaining estimates from contractors, and some of Paradigm's competitors treated me as if they didn't take me seriously despite me being the property owner. I liked Andy and Ross from our first meeting and felt comfortable hiring them for the job. Their price was very fair and their quote was detailed and thorough, so I felt confident that they wouldn't change the price on me once the job was underway. Ross and Andy were onsite for the entire job, which brought me great peace of mind knowing that the job would be completed with owner supervision and that quality control wouldn't be an issue. When they encountered a hiccup in the job, they fixed the issue right away and didn't charge me extra. The water main to the house was buried in the cement in the basement and was not visible, so they accidentally hit it and it burst. Fortunately, Ross is a licensed plumber and he was able to fix the line right away. It caused a delay in the job, but even so, they completed the waterproofing of 82 linear feet in one day and the basement looks great now. I would absolutely hire Paradigm Home Solutions again and would recommend them.

These guys was super professional. They arrived on time, performed and installed the pump and tested the pump several times. It took them one day to install. They prices out beat all the companies we contacted as well. We have had several thunderstorms since and NO water. They cleaned up after themselves and followed up with a call several days after to make sure no water or leaks. I will definitely recommend these guys to everyone. High quality for reasonable cost. The owners were both present throughout the entire process. The work was really difficult (they had to get jackhammers in the crawl space!). They dug the entire 90 foot trench and the house was as clean as it was before they got there. All of the employees were extremely friendly and hard working. I will be recommending these guys to EVERY one of my friends who needs this work. They have great communication, they work hard, they are respectful, and they are super friendly and easy to deal with. Thanks again Paradigm!

Andy and Ross are absolutely the best! Andy responded to my initial call within an hour and fit me into their busy schedule within 2 days. He and Ross came out to inspect the work and scheduled the repairs for the following week. They are both extremely professional, knowledgeable, personable and were a pleasure to do business with. Their team arrived on time, completed all work the same day and did an excellent job. By far the best contractor I have ever had to partner with. Thank you Andy and Ross for your impeccable service. I cannot speak highly enough about Andy and his team. I purchased a deal through Angie's list and he contacted me In less than 24hours. He was able to come out within a week to get the proposed work completed and it took less than a day to finish everything. They made sure to clean up every last piece of debris. More importantly they were polite and honest guys who didn't sell me more than I needed. I would highly recommend!!

The owners of Paradigm went above and beyond to help us solve our basement water problems. When water entered the house through an unrelated source after their original work was complete, they came out quickly and resolved the issue (including materials needed) at no cost to us. They were prompt, professional, and left no mess behind. They are clearly very knowledgeable and skilled, and take pride in their business and in their customers' satisfaction.

My husband and I used Paradigm Home Solutions to waterproof our basement. It was a pleasure working with Andy from start to finish. He came out on a weekend to give us an estimate to accommodate our schedule even though he had personal plans that day. He did not try to scare us into purchasing more products, pressure us to sign that day to lock in a price or pay a large deposit to secure the job like nearly every other company that offered us an estimate. Instead he was very knowledgeable and laid back. He gave us a very fair price and even threw in a window drain where other companies wanted to charge a few hundred dollars more. On the day of installation, he was there to help and ensure the job went smoothly. The work was initially planned for two days but was finished in one. The area was left clean and dry. Afterwards we used Andy’s suggestion and put down carpet. Now it is like we have a finished basement which is something we were not planning on! Andy and his crew surpassed our expectations. We highly recommend Paradigm Home Solutions to anyone who is considering waterproofing their basement.

Great! Owner was very professional. He returned my call in a timely manner and was able to send a 2-man crew out within two days (on a Saturday and ahead of impending rain) to replace my generic, "inherited with the house" pump with a quality/gold standard pump. The crew was right on time, courteous, and left the work area clean. And the owner, Andy, even showed up at the house to oversee that the job was to his/our satisfaction. He stands by his work and reputation.

Ross and Andy were great! They came over to assess it pretty soon after I contacted them. They spent a lot of time looking all around and then came up with a plan. They itemized the plan for me, including the cost of an industrial dehumidifier. We then got two more estimates which weren't nearly as good as theirs (and one was double the cost) but had a couple of extra suggestions we liked. Andy checked with me in a few days later to see if I had any questions and he said "We'd love to earn your business." I liked that. I got back to him with a few items we wanted to add on to our original plan and one we wanted to drop. He came over again and went over the new items and a few other things, and he rewrote the itemized bill. When I asked about a downpayment, he said no need, just pay us when the job is done. I thought it would take a long time but Andy, Ross and their team of about 5 or 6 more guys came over on Monday before 8am and worked really hard. The guys were respectful and friendly. They They finished this job in 2 days and our basement is transformed! They have also been very responsive to follow up questions as we've still had a mildew smell from time to time. However, we've had no signs of dampness, water or mold since their work was done. Even though our basement is unfinished, other workmen have commented on how it's a very nice basement and in good shape as it looks brighter, cleaner and like it has real potential.

The areas were fixed with interior perimeter trenching, sump pumps, treating surfaces with a product to treat mold, and covering floors and walls with heavy plastic sheeting. The job was finished in two days and the owners and crew were punctual, professional, polite, neat and hard working.

It went fine but it was a little pricey. Next time I will probably do it myself.

I did pay $49 for the inspection, but ultimately did not hire Andy. This was not because of any problem with Andy, in fact, it was just the opposite. Andy was responsive, professional, and honest. As soon as he walked into my basement, he realized that I had a problem that was way bigger that the issue I was having him to come out to address. My sewer line appeared to be cracked. He said that needed to be checked out right away. Andy continued his inspection and told me that any work to my landscaping would not be cost effective in terms of preventing either the erosion of my driveway or any water issues in my basement. Andy did outline a great solution to prevent water in my basement and gave me an estimate for the work that was quite reasonable. However, he continued to stress that I needed to get someone in to look at my sewer line. The problem that Andy pointed out with my sewer line is going to cost me tens of thousands of dollars to resolve (I basically have to demolish and redo my kitchen). That is the only reason I am not hiring him to fix my basement water issues that are minor compared to what is going on with my sewer line. Well worth the $49 to not end up with a load of $h!t under my kitchen and in my basement! I am definitely putting Paradigm Home Solutions on my go to contractor list.
