Andy, the owner and his partner Ross arrived on time, were very polite and and took their time assessing my problem, asking many questions and addressing all of my concerns. During the time that they were there, they actually discovered that my problem was stemming from a broken waterline outside of the house and recommended that I handle that issue first, as it might alleviate the problems I was having in my basement and around my property. I was so impressed that they gave me this great advice, free of charge and did not try to sell my something I may not need!!! I will most certainly be recommending Paradigm Home Solutions to friends and family and will use them again in the future.

Andy and Ross (the owners) are dedicated, competent, considerate people. Both they and their crew obviously took pride in their work. Going through the mold crisis was an emotionally trying experiencee for us. Paradigm came through both in the quality of their work and the spirit of its delivery. They brought consistent, pragmatic recommendations to us. They carried out the work as planned and handled unforeseen needs with great flexibility. The problem was mold in our basement which has been chronically damp. We did not know we had a mold problem until my wife started getting very sick in the first floor of our house. We suspected mold and had it confirmed by an independent testing company. The basement mold levels were unexpectedly high and it appeared that contaminated air was getting from the basement up into the living area of the house. The solution lay primarily in totally decontaminating the unfinished basement by major disposal of much that we had accumulated there, demolition of affected sheet rock, followed by scraping, scrubbing, and disinfecting the unfinished ceiling, walls, and floor, as well as everything that was deemed safe not to dispose. Along the way unforeseen work came up, including erection of a support column, adding a French drain along a problematic wall, and disinfectant scrub-down of all kitchen surfaces. There were many additional minor tasks that were added to the job. When the work was completed they left heavy duty air scrubbers operating in the basement and on the first floor for four days over a holiday weekend. Within two days of completion, we were able to re-occupy the first floor of our house with confidence and comfort. Their proposed solution was pragmatic, smart, and self-consistent. The work was done very quickly. Paradigm personnel were terrific to deal with. They did what was planned and much more. They treated us with utmost consideration for the distressing period we had been going through. We recommend them with absolute confidence in their commitment, competence, and consideration.

Andrew and his business partner were very responsive and came to my house within 24 hours. Upon inspection of my issue, they determined that I did not have a waterproofing problem but an exterior masonry issue that was causing the water intrusion. They walked around my house and explained the issues to me. These guys were very nice and I really appreciate them taking time out of their day to really diagnose my problem versus just trying to sell me an unneeded product/service. I am going to have a mason do some work on my house and hopefully that will remedy the water intrusion issue. If the mason work does not stop the water intrusion, I would absolutely call Paradigm Home Solutions to assist me with basement waterproofing. These guys are very professional.

Ross and Andy take pride in their work. All my questions were answered in detail. The work initially planned for two days was completed in one day! The area was left very clean.

This was an incredibly detailed and involved project. Our entire basement needed to be re-mediated for mold. Andy, Ross, and their crew were punctual, polite, and professional. They were very respectful of our property and made our comfort a priority. They answered any and all questions we had before, during and after the process was complete, instilling us with a solid piece of mind. They took into account my wife's disability and tailored their work so she could be more comfortable in our home during the process. The process included getting rid of very personal items with sentimental meaning, and Andy and Ross worked with us to make the job as painless as possible. They gave us times that they would be working, and stuck to it. They took great care of our belongings, even going as far as to clean and bubble-wrap delicate pieces. They alerted us to a potential problem with the water heater, and advised us on options. They explained the issues in laymen's terms, and further details when necessary, and did not proceed with work until we understood. This was the best experience we've had with any contractor in our home, and we would not hesitate to call upon, or recommend them, for future projects.

Overall it was a great outcome. This was not a project I necessarily wanted to do, but I think it was important to do in order to keep the basement dry and clean, and the guys did a great job. Andy and his team got the job done all in one day, they were careful to clean everything up both inside and outside the home, and I am very pleased with the work.

The team showed up promptly and treated my home with great respect. These guys clearly know what they are doing and how to go about it the right way. It was a two-day job, and I was kept in the loop through the entire process. The team came to me with every issue, laid out my options and provided exceptional guidance. The job was completed on budget, and ahead of schedule. If you have issues similar to mine, calling Paradigm is a smart move.

Consistent with every other time I've engaged with Andy and Ross from Paradigm, they were on-time, prepared for the job, very professional, courteous, and diligent to perform above and beyond. I needed help with a last minute problem with our toilet and these guys took time out of their otherwise busy schedule to squeeze me in. These guys truly understand the value of exceptional service and building long-term relationships. Never a lame excuse or a corner cut. After my first project with them (a $12K french drain), I didn't really expect to call on them for other stuff around the house, but I did turn to them for another $8000 mold/moisture remediation. I'm so glad I found them as they are simply a great asset to any homeowner needing quality and timely service. This was probably a really small job for them, but they handled it for me no questions asked...thanks guys!!

Excellent. Ross gave me an estimate in February, 2016 and included a 350.00 discount for me as an Angie's List member. Even though the work was not performed until December, 2016, Ross still honored the discount. The crew showed up first thing in the morning and were done by mid-afternoon. They were extremely efficient, neat and responsive to my questions. Paradigm was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend them!

It went great. Andy and Ross are awesome. I made them come out twice, just for estimates, but they were super nice and talked me through the entire process. They didn't ask for any money down, they did everything that they said they'd do (and more!) and charged the promised price! A while later, our sump pump was making a weird noise. They came back and fixed that too. Thanks guys.

Andy and Ross (the owners) arrived with their crew (7-8 total) promptly each day of our job, and they all worked hard! They did a lot - new french drain, window taps, new sump pumps, scrubbed walls, etc. in "newer" section of basement, concrete repair and replacement, scrubbed walls, etc. in original (120+ yr.) basement, cleaned out and installed concrete floor in old crawl space area. They also installed a new, high efficiency dehumidifier. Finally, they guarantee their work, including the sump pumps! We valued their hard work and expertise, but just as much we appreciated their consideration for us and our home throughout the project. They moved all the items we had stored around the perimeter of the room to the center and covered it with plastic before starting the messy work. They used air cleaning devices to keep the inside dust to a minimum. They cleaned up outside work areas as much as possible each day before leaving, etc. We are happy that we hired Paradigm Home Solutions to tackle our basement projects, and we would definitely recommend them to others.

The job was done in two days with little disruption. Ross and Andy were present each day and the team they brought with them was efficient, courteous, and professional. Ross and Andy came back to review our situation when I had a question about the crawl space and they included the crawl space in their work even though that wasn't part of the original bid. They also found a drain pipe (also not part of the job) which they replaced at no cost. They were able to answer all our questions and they never "talked down" to us, even though we had many questions for them. Both owners take tremendous pride in providing excellent service and an excellent product (outcome). We had other bids but we are glad we went with Paradigm. We highly recommend this company and will use again as needed.

The work was done as promised along with some additional assistance and advice. Both owners came to the site for much of the work and carefully explained the process. Our basement is dry and (with the addition of a dehumidifier) smells fine! We definitely would recommend Paradigm and would hire again for future needs.

I was very nervous about proceeding with this job as I had my downstairs finished and carpeted and was worried about the potential mess. They had to go through this room to get to the crawlspace. Andy and Ross were very easy to deal with and assured me that everything would be protected. My carpet was completely covered and the entire room was protected. They used negative air machines to collect the dust. The job was completed in one day and the entire room had been protected as promised. The job was not easy as the crew had to work on their hands and knees in the crawlspace and take out the concrete and bring in the clean stone bucket after bucket by hand. Andy and Ross were present the entire time. I definitely recommend Andy, Ross and the crew. Dealing with the owners and having them at the job as it was done made all the difference. I had multiple other companies give quotes before, and none made me feel comfortable in proceeding. Andy and Ross did. I highly recommend meeting with them before proceeding with any waterproofing project.

We are very happy with the job that Paradigm did to fix our water problem. For the initial estimate, Andy and Ross took their time, over 90 minutes, and went over every detail of the problems that they found and their plan to resolve them. They didn't try to upsell us at all and we really appreciated their honesty. Andy also promptly responded to our many followup questions. The day of the job, Andy and Ross arrived with a full crew, 6 to 8 people total. A french drain was installed along two walls along with a sump pump. Despite running into a few problems with a harder than expected concrete floor, the work was completed on time and for the amount quoted. Unfortunately, we experienced very heavy rain the night after the job was finished and an unexpected leak developed in the front corner of the basement behind a stud. We called Andy at 7 am and he immediately rearranged his schedule for that day so they could come out and fix the problem. They removed the stud and the rest of the drywall and insulation from that corner and installed a vapor barrier at no extra charge. Overall, Andy and Ross were great to work with and we would highly recommend Paradigm.

great! couldnt be happier with the work that Ross and Andy and their crew did in our basement, explained the process , showed up on time and did a great job.They were professional ,friendly and did a fantastic job. We are also having our basement finished and they hauled away all kinds of heavy junk that we wanted to get rid of tore down a useless wall, pointed out some plumbing issues we might run into ,.Showed real pride in the work that they do and a genuine concern for the other projects we were about to do. Would definetely hire them again!!!!

I can't begin to say enough good things about Andy and Ross at Paradigm Home Solutions. I just moved into my home. The a/c broke a few days in, and I noticed a terrible musty smell in the basement that proceeded to get worse as the a/c issue continued. I had 2 other waterproofing companies come by and quote me for a full waterproofing experience - sump pumps, french drains, and over a 18k quote (and that was discounted if I was willing to do a before and after video for them). Andy and Ross came in and told me that I didn't need all of that work done and were completely frank with me about there not being a water issue at all, but a ventilation problem. They weren't prepared to sell me on something I didn't need. My experience with waterproofing companies is similar to how most feel about going to the dentist. But I tell you, these guys were the first I have come across in the industry that I implicitly trust. They dealt with me as if they were recommending advice to their best friend. They were down-to-earth, funny, accessible, and most of all experts in their domain. They came that Friday, and were there the entire time, walked me through everything, have been phenomenal about follow up and pre-and-post work. Hands down the best in the industry and frankly, one of the best companies I have ever worked with! I am singing their praises to many --- if you have a water issue in the basement, your experience doesn't have to be like walking into the dentist's office. Andy and Ross are the best. Call them.

Whoa! They showed up, they covered EVERYTHING and everywhere they went, and completed the job in one day. They were immaculate: when i got home from work, the only way I knew they'd been there was looking at the lovely, smooth cement lining the floor. Granted, it was a relatively small job, but still. They were very organized, very clean, and most of all, very knowledgeable. Every basement contractor I've ever talked to tells you automatically that you need French drains on all walls and it will cost $10k. Not Ross; we discussed the issues and chose to do just two walls for now, and the price was very reasonable, considering we dug a new sump hole, purchased a pump, reconfigured an existing radon removal system for more efficiency, and dealt appropriately with drainage in two window wells. Really, I've worked with neat and competent contractors before, but Ross and Paradigm were like watching an impresario and his performing troupe. Everyone had a role. Everyone knew exactly what they had to do in what order. I'd HIGHLY recommend these folks, and I'm picky about basement contractors. Also, by the way, I knew of them because a neighbor used them for a much larger, much more problematic basement, and because of Paradigm's work there, that neighbor now has a safe and dry basement room for his kids. Impressive.

I am so glad I called Paradigm Home Solutions for my basement needs! From beginning to end, Ross and his team were responsive, professional, courteous and honest. Ross, the owner, was the person who came to give me my estimate and was there with his team doing the work. I can't emphasize enough how important this was--it gave me confidence that the assessment and the work were quality, and set Paradigm apart from another company that had a salesperson give me my estimate. Even after the work, Ross was incredibly responsive, and came back out to the house to check out any small issues I noticed following the project. I've already had him and his team back out to deal with another plumbing problem I had. Also, as a single female homeowner, I have had experiences where contractors make belittling comments about my knowledge of home improvement, ask if someone else will be home for the estimate, or talk to me with a tone of surprise that I actually am the homeowner and decision maker. This was NOT my experience with Paradigm--the team was respectful, explained the work without talking down to me, and never pressured me into any kind of decision. If you are looking for quality work completed by a friendly, professional team, I highly recommend Paradigm!

Absolutely to perfection! Ross and Andy came out to inspect my property. I've been having a problem in the basement of my home with flooding in my basement. I had several quotes but if I can save others some time and aggravation, Ross and Andy were hands down the best. They were very personable and clearly know their business. There was never a hint of pressure to do any work and sign a contract. The basement has been repaired and after a few heavy, soaking rains, my basement is completely dry.

Our experience from start to finish with Paradigm Home Solutions was terrific. We found the company on Angie’s List and now know why Andy, Ross and their crew receive such glowing reviews. Our crawlspace was in need of waterproofing and when we called Paradigm, owners Andy and Ross came over, explained the problems and the solutions, answered all of our questions, and provided us with a fair quote with some extra benefits built in. Although there was never a hint of pressure, we hired them on the spot. On the day of the job, they arrived on time - actually even early - with their crew of four workers. They got right to work - Andy and Ross, too - and didn’t stop until the job was done later that day. And it was a big job. After carefully protecting the area with tarps and plastic sheeting, they brought in 9 TONS of stone for the floor of the crawlspace - all hauled in five-gallon buckets though the small hatch opening to the work area. They stripped old insulation off the cement walls and bagged it for disposal, repaired the footer, secured our good insulation in the ceiling, put in a French drain system and a new sump pump, applied solution to the joists to counter any mildew, and installed vapor barriers on the walls and over the stone. It was a hard, dirty job, with a lot of shoveling, hauling and spreading stone, crawling around in a small space, but you wouldn’t know it from the demeanor of the workers - smiles, polite - I even heard whistling - no kidding. When the job and the cleanup were done, Andy and Ross showed me the results and reiterated the guarantees that come with the work. Very impressive all around.

These guys (Andy and Ross) get an A for integrity. Early on in during their visit to my home to evaluate the project, they said they do what it takes to make sure (1) our basement stays dry, (2) that they'll take care of any issues, and (3) they want us to be a happy customer. They have certainly delivered on that promise. After getting comparable quotes from two other contractors, their quote was competitive, fair, and the scope of work was clearly defined. Both Andy and Ross were professional throughout the entire process, got back to me very quickly, were on time everyday and performed the work as described....actually, they went above and beyond what was promised. We had a french drain put in around our entire basement perimeter. Coincidentally, the day after they completed their work, it poured for two days straight. The french drain performed perfectly, but we discovered a leak in one of the interior walls (which was a complete anomaly). They came back out within a few days, voluntarily without me even asking and added some additional french drain in the interior space and put up a vapor barrier on the affected area. They even plugged up a few defunct drains with cement just as a way to clean up the space! These guys really go above and beyond to deliver on their promise and certainly deserve their high marks on Angies List. Way to go guys! You deserve the praise for how you approach your work and business.

First allow me to say that the Mrs. and I couldn't be more pleased with every aspect of the job done by Andy, Ross and the crew. They were on time, professional, efficient and fast. We were having water issues in the basement of our new home anytime it rained for more than 2 days in a row, a smell ensued as well. The crew came out, assessed our situation and made us more than positive that we had made the right choice by choosing them. They removed all damaged drywall, treated all exposed areas with eco-friendly mold killer, installed a vapor barrier to alleviate future issues, install a French drain in two areas where the water was coming in, installed a high-efficiency sump pump, repaired our existing sewer line that we didn't even know was cracked, fixed an outside water line that had cracked during the recent winter months, install 2 exterior window wells and 2 of those protective domes on top of each. In addition, they cleaned up completely when done. They even returned 2 weeks later at no charge when the Mrs. "thought" she saw more issues and put her mind at ease. We have had no issues since the service was completed. As I write this, our city is in day 6 of a consecutive rain pattern, with a nor'easter just passing through 2 days ago and still no moisture! Again we couldn't be more happy and will recommend them to all!! Thanks guys!
