Description of Work: I went to Oakmont Automotive because of the good reviews here. They inspected both my wife's and my cars. I had an appointment for mine and left my wife's overnight. The service was prompt for both cars: They were working on my car shortly after I arrived and they called in the morning for my wife's car with the status. I was fortunate to not need anything but a light bulb replaced this time, and so the price with the discount coupon was very good. |The waiting room was adequate with, I think, a couple candy dispensers, and water and coffee available. There is a rest room, look for the door from the outside of the building. |The experience went well to the point I am planning on having them do additional services on my cars.

It's nice to hear that we are exceeding the expectations of customers. We do a 29 point inspection on every car at the time of service or repair (along with what the vehicle is in for service or repair). After we base what's needed and or recommended we try to give choices based on the age of the vehicle, mileage and inormation given from customer along with previous servcie history. This way we aren't doing any high pressure sales. Just making recommendations on how I would fix this car if it were my own.

This was a state inspection done at the last minute. Oakmont fit me in and got the inspection done in the time they said they would. Best of all, there were no items "found" that needed to be addressed.

I spent $800 on the last visit. They are flexible. I don’t have to wait for week to get an appointment with them. They are really interested in treating my car like theirs and they recommend the best thing to do to prolong the life of my car. They always give me options about what to do and they let me make the decision. I had a few problems that were really tough to solve and other shops were not able to solve them as well, but they worked on it for 2 days and solved it. The shop is clean and they have a nice waiting room. They have a TV, internet which I can use but most of their business there is drop off and pick up. When I drop my car off, they drop me home. The shop is clean and orderly.
Description of Work: I use Oakmont Automotive for auto service. The last time I used them was last month to replace 4 new tires, tire balancing, rotation, alignment, yearly state registration, emission testing, to fix a problem with the emission system and to repair the power steering system.
