I could not be more grateful for this company and the service man, Mike. At around 11pm on (literally) the coldest night of the year (and one of the coldest in decades), my furnace quit working. The burner would come on, and then go out in a few seconds. The low was going well below zero and the temps in the house were falling -- fast. I called a couple of places I used before (including my normal service guy) -- they either didn't answer the phone or were working on industrial buildings and could not come for many hours. I have a broken ankle, and having to drain the water from the pipes and abandon the house would have been extremely difficult -- since temps are supposed to stay well below normal for the next six days, I would not have been able to put water back into the house for six days. I would have been forced out of my house for at least six nights with a broken ankle if this man did not come. After searching for "emergency furnace service" on the web, I found Schultheis. I called around midnight, and the person who answered the phone could not have been nicer. She said the service man would call me back. Having little faith at this point, I drained the water from the pipes and left my house for my sister's house, prepared for the worst for at least a week. But, around 1am I received a call from Mike. I explained the problem, and he said since the burner worked he thought he had a good shot a fixing it. He was an hour away. We went back to the house, and arrived when he did. He worked on the unit for about a half hour -- found the problem and fixed the furnace. And, he had been working sixteen straight hours before he came to my house -- and was on his way to another job while most the rest of the HVAC community seemed to be sleeping on the coldest night of the year. He saved not only a terrible week for me, but perhaps even the pipes in the old house. This is a truly professional company and Mike is a wonderful technician.

Everything went smoothly from the salesman, Brian and the office staff with scheduling to the installation crew. They showed promptly at 8 AM and finished by 4 PM. The guys were very friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend Schulthies Brothers.

Cost of systems was too expensive.

Called them & they promptly called back to set an appointment to come out.Arrived on time & gave an estimate.Price seemed fair as compared to other places.They scheduled the work,came & installed on time,were very courteous & professional.All went extremely well.

It was excellent! They have always done really nice work. They're trustworthy, the prices are good, and they always show up on time.

It went fine. They were on time and they finished the job in a relatively short amount of time while they were here.

Schultheis came out after I had had 3 other estimates done. They were friendly and knowledgeable. They gave the cheapest estimate of all the companies I brought over. It was easy to schedule and the work was done on time and done well. Only had one minor issue that the team resolved within a week. I would be happy to use them again.

UPDATE: Schultheis sent two gentlemen, Dan and Andy, to troubleshoot our AC system. These guys were great and very professional. I had the opportunity to discuss the work plan with Katie and I'm glad I did. She heard our concerns and committed that her team would remedy the situation. I had some suspect solder joints and an elbow that may not have been the most robust option for us. Schultheis team replaced the elbow with the proper one and then brazed all the joints to ensure we didn't leak the expensive coolant. We are very grateful for the repair and I thank Katie for being so proactive to a customer concern. I should mention that Schultheis did this repair AT ZERO CHARGE to us! Great customer service. Thanks as well to Dan and Andy for the good work. Highly recommend Schultheis!

They were prompt and they came when they said they will. They were very upfront about how their pricing ran; there were no surprises. It was service as advertised. I don't see any major reason for them to improve. I have absolutely no negatives as far as memory goes. I will definitely use them again.

They were fast, responsible, and did a very good replacing a part of our furnace. But I would not call them the cheapest in town.

They did a great job. They're very thorough, detail-oriented. They didn't use some materials and so they gave me price reduction. It was pretty good. He came out. They did what they were supposed to do. Their price is fair; it wasn't the least expensive. They did something’s that were least expensive and that's important because they left the job every day, covered it so if it rained at night. The person gave us the cheapest quote so that's our responsibility so it was worth it. I would refer them.

The service was outstanding, and all of the personnel, from the folks on the phone to the sales rep to the installation crew, were polite, responsive, and helpful.

Went exactly as expected. Completed in one day on the day they said they would do it.

They left and that was that. I had another business come out and said that I would actually need an entirely new furnace.

At first, it was a little bit touch and go because it was big for me. We had another company that red-tagged it, so we had no heat during the cold spell. We went on without heat for 11 days. Mostly, I liked their price and punctuality.

They were dependable. Our neighbors checked it for us so we didn't even have to be there. They were cost friendly, neat, and on time. They were also trustworthy. Overall, we were very happy with them. They were great!

I have the yearly maintenance plan in place, so the individual visit costs are not detailed out so I could not provide this one visit cost. Trane HVAC changed their warranty to be a mandatory twice a year preventative maintenance by certified Trane technicians/providers or their warranty would be invalidated. Schulteis kept contacting me to make sure that I get the PM scheduled in order to keep the warranty in place. I appreciate that! The technician did a very thorough job, cleaned and checked out my hvac environment. Gave me tips to do on-going checks and was very quick and efficient and friendly. He called me 15 minutes to the time he was scheduled to let me know he was on his way. He showed up early which meant I was able to get on with the rest of my day! Very professional and he keeps his work area clean so that there is not one spec of mess after his visit. Not even foot prints from a snow-mushy day on my floors or carpets! Easy going technician. I am very pleased with Schulteis. They have been my HVAC vendor of choice since I moved to Plum in 2006.

Furnace went out at about 4:30 am. I tried to troubleshoot it myself, but couldnt find the issue. I called at about 6:30. Repairman came at 8:10. He blew out the tubes and reattached them. Furnace is working fine now.

Our furnace broke at 5am on the coldest day of the year, it was 40 degrees in our home. We called Schultheis Bros. Co. immediately and they were there within the hour to fix our furnace. They were very professional and efficient, we had heat within the hour. I was very impressed by how compassionate they were for our situation and how quickly they responded to make sure we were warm. I am very grateful that they helped us and would recommend Schultheis Bros. to everyone!

They were prompt in providing an estimate which was in the competitive range of others. They came on the date promised with a large competent crew, and finished the roof in 2 days. I used this company to install a new Trane HVAC system earlier in the year. They also did a great job as well. Very pleased with this company They whole work crew was responsive and very professional.

This company installed our AC and furnace 14 years ago. They did a great job then and again recently. We were extremely pleased with all interactions from start to finish of our furnace repair. Also, the price was very reasonable. The service manager and scheduler were courteous and accommodating. The technicians (initial service call & actual repair) were both professional and highly skilled. It was a positive experience dealing with a trustworthy company. We will definitely use their services in the future.

Due to Frisia weather conditions, a pipe had burst in my basement at around 5 pm. I called Schultheis Bros, got the answering service, and explained my dilemma. The service said that they would call the Schultheis dispatcher. The serviceman called me in about 20 minutes, said he would be here in a half an hour THAT EVENING ! The serviceman arrived within 30 minutes. He fixed the burst pipe, had the water running, and was finished within 25 minutes, tops! Excellent service, punctual, and professional. I would definitely recommend Schultheis Bros. to anyone.

The price is very reasonable. They have done work on my in-law's house. They always do a good job.So gar so good. I chose them because I thought they're an honest and reputable company from the dealings the in-laws had with them. When the tech came out with the furnace, he showed me what was wrong with it. They showed us everything we needed to see and we signed a deal with them. They guys who are here are very good. They are on time and they come when they sasy they're gonna come. I find that to be very imnportant with the contractor. Furnace has been installed and in operation for several months...both systems work great...no issues...

the service installers arrived on time they were polite and efficient they completed the job in the time stated and removed all the old parts they explained thermostat's settings replacing the filter my wife and i were satisfied with the job
