I ended up sending over 6500.00 for a new furnace and new duct work. Why A bid was not sent makes no sense when someone came to my house for close to 45 min to look at the job.

It went very well. I have no complaints. If I had to say anything the least bit negative, they didn't call before they came. It took them about 8 hours. Since that time the furnace has been working great, and I don't have to worry if it might break down on the coldest day of the year.

I purchased a special $55 offer to inspect my furnace. They cancelled the first date we had scheduled but then did reschedule and arrived on time.

Jerry was on time (I was late due to misunderstanding of scheduled appointment) and went right to work. He did an excellent job. Jerry did a more thorough job then my previous technician who I have used since 1999. He opened the ductwork to look down into the furnace and make sure it was completely operational. Jerry was so good I will definitely be calling his company to clean and check my furnace annually! Even the normal price is more reasonable then what I pay every year, and they do a much better job!

the technician was very professional, though he was a little late in arriving, but that was due to confusing house numbering on my street. He called ahead to let me know that he was on the way.

I purchased a Big Deal for a furnace inspection. I contacted Phillips Heating & Air Conditioning Company to set up an appointment for the inspection and their first available appointment was about a month away. We recently bought our house and our furnace is very noisy so, I wanted to have someone look at it sooner. I called back and they were able to send a technician out a few days later for a service call appointment. Our furnace is about 19 years old and the repairs are too costly for its age so we are looking at having a new furnace installed. We didn't use the Big Deal since we will need a new furnace and I'm requesting a refund. I am happy that Phillips was able to send someone out sooner and the technician spent some time examining our furnace and explaining our options. We will be contacting them for an estimate and will likely have them install the new furnace.

The job turned out okay. My experience with them wasn’t too bad. The guy was okay but he didn’t talk much. He told me that my furnace needed replacement. The customer service was okay; it wasn’t excellent. He came on time. He got the job done and answered all my questions. He was not so enthusiastic. He gave me some prices for a new furnace and I wasn’t too impressed with what he was telling me as I could get it cheaper. I called them again because my furnace stopped working. I called them back to see if they could come out and get it started. But they couldn’t come tell me whether they were coming that day or the next day. They said that they would put me on the list. The secretary was not so good with me. I called back and asked her if they were close to coming out as I needed to know if I had to go to the store to get a heater. She said that she didn’t know and that it sounded like it would be sometime that day. So I called another company from Angie's List. They came out in two hours. I called to cancel the appointment with Phillips Heating & Air Conditioning Company and she got snippy. She said that I was the next on the list. I won't use them again.

He came in and cleaned my furnace. He was so nice and so meticulous. He also found another problem I did not know I had and asked me if I wanted him to take care of it for me. He was also very courteous and very neat and tidy. It was absolurely fabulous.

It was fine but I never got the central air done, I just got the heat done. I bought 2 Big Deals. Actually I wasn't there, my mom was there, I live in Philadelphia but I own a house in both cities. They came on time and they were nice. They found that I needed to purchase another part, it took a couple of weeks for the part to come in, then they came back and install it for an additional $50, and they were fine. I think the $50 is fair for a diagnostic check.

I had a weekday appointment scheduled that the provider was unable to uphold due to issues at a prior appointment. Initially, I was irritated, as I had spent an afternoon in suspense. A communication breakdown occurred that led to a "C" rating in the Punctuality category; however, the provider reached back out to me and allowed a favorable arrangement to repair goodwill for their mistake. I appreciated the Service Manager's concern and efforts to reconciling the customer relationship. For that reason, I have awarded the provider "A" ratings in the Professionalism and Responsiveness categories. The Serviceman was very kind and knowledgeable and also seemed to exude a notable level of care toward the service provided. I will use this provider again in the future.

Horrible. Looked at furnace for 1 minute and said the heat exchange was cracked. Told me it was not worth replacing and quoted $600 as the price to do so. Then said new furnace would be $3000 (budget model!) To replace. Then he said it i hade to pay an additional $150 as it was a service call not a cleaning and refused to clean the furnace.. I refused and said i wanted to call the manager and so he waived the 'charge'. I sought a second opinion and got the exchange replaced for much cheaper.

The service technician, Jerry, arrived on time and was very pleasant and professional. He proceeded to the basement and checked and cleaned the furnace. My husband was very happy with the thoroughness of the technician's work. He replaced some small item that was rattling and there was no additional charge.

When Phillips Heating & Air Conditioning Company came to do the heating and AC he didn't ask for anymore money. I personally wasn't here but my boyfriend was really pleased with him. He was on time, he was professional, he made sure everything was correct, he was thorough and then they were really great about it. I called to ask if I could buy the big deal again because of my new house to make sure that, that furnace was really okay. And I appreciated his honesty because I was going to buy the furnace and AC deal both again and he said why don't I just buy the furnace for now because depending on what the whether is for October he may or may not be able to do the AC piece and he said just hold up on that deal and in the spring even if they didn't have the big deal he would honor that price for me. So I thought I was in sales, any chance anybody gets especially in this economy to get a sale usually people do what it takes even though it is on your hand. So I appreciated his honesty and having him save me that money for now and still honoring that price next year so I just thought that was his best word, that's what the definition of customer service is going beyond and above for your customers so I thought he did a great job. I certainly would recommend him to anybody else.

I contacted this provider to inspect my furnance and air conditioner because the furnace AND A/C were running in the summer. I called to schedule an inspection and the woman I talked to was very nice and professional and got me an appointment within a couple of days. Dean arrived on time and spend well over an hour checking my furnance and thermostat. He showed me how to turn the gas off and was very nice and helpful. He wasn't able to get me a conclusive answer as to what was causing this and I will be calling them again for further help before winter.

I purchased a big deal from them and they came today. They squeezed me in. They made my schedule work for them. They came out and were on time and professional.

Dean was FANTASTIC. He figured out that one of the wires were slightly nicked so the unit was not getting electricity. He changed it out within 5 minutes and also gave me a tip about the filter replacement. If we run into any other a/c or furnace problems we've definitely found our go to company! :)

They installed each unit on separate days. The initial consultation was handled by Rich and he was very professional, patient and responsive to my concerns. He didn't try to sell me the most expensive units he had and advised me not to buy units that were larger than I really needed to heat and cool my house. He took time to explain to me what to expect. After they installed the units, they later came back to make sure they would work as they should . Before they were due to come back, I was worried that the A/C was not working as well as it should. So, I called them and they came the next day to check it out. Rich came checked it out and explained to me what I should do to optimize its performance.

I have yet to use my A/C since the repair since the weather has been so cool.

Learned that our furnace is at the end of its useful life which we had gathered. The technician offered to go over options for a furnace replacement. We were impressed with the overall service and we are planning to take advantage of his feedback. The technician was profession and friendly. I have saved their number in my phone book now.
