He was very helpful and gave me all the information that I needed. He recommended purchasing a new furnace as ours was old. He was very nice to talk to and helped explain what the issue was. It took a couple of hours for the inspection. There was a small additional fee for the replacement of the coupling piece. This company has good service. I would give him a thumbs up.

I purchased two separate deals with the company for heating and air. They were only able to do heating because it is not warm enough to check the air. They sent someone out yesterday for the job and informed me that I needed a whole new furnace, which I knew wasn't true, and that was upsetting and I declined the service. I was able to have my regular technician come out, who has been servicing my furnace, and he said that it didn't need to be replaced. Although the representative from the company was nice and prompt, I am still upset that I was lied to.

I originally requested a HVAC tuneup and inspection, during which time a relatively large crack was found in the heat exchanger. The service technician recommended replacing the furnace, and inasmuch as it was an old furnace with a large crack, I approved the work. We scheduled another appointment to replace the furnace, which was done promptly and very satisfactorily. The technicians arrived on time and worked quickly to remove the old furnace and install the new furnace.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and the guy was honest. He did not try to sell me a furnace. I kind of need a new one, but he did not force it and was pretty laid back about it. I definitely recommend him and they got my work done in a timely manner. There was no hidden agenda.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I didn't interact too much with them but it was good. My tenants were there. There were no additional charges. My tenants didn't complain that they were late or unprofessional. They contacted me to set up the appointment.

Gave reasonable time window, arrived well within the window. Professional, friendly, clean. Worked on steam furnace. I was impressed by how thorough he seemed - spent a long time cleaning (what sounded like a pretty dusty furnace) and I have been able to notice the difference in how it sounds. Very happy with in-house service and plan on using them again! Only negative: After purchasing deal on Angie's List I called to schedule my appointment, which went easily enough. Come the day of service, I'm at home between the appointed hours. Nothing. For good or bad, I patiently waited until the end of the time frame they gave me before calling. When I did, there was apparently no record of the appointment. They gave an, "Oops, sorry", in response and rescheduled me (which worked out just fine). Had I not already planned to take that time from work to be around for several other service calls I probably would have been a lot more upset (and did have to make a separate day the following week work for their appointment). I would say make sure and call them the day before to confirm that they actually put you on the schedule, which I suspect is prudent advice for any service appointment.

The tech was punctual and professional. He did a thorough inspection and tune up, and even fixed a minor problem that I was having as part of the tune up package. He pointed out that my cold air return was undersized, and gave me a very high estimate to have the ductwork replaced with ductwork of the correct size. The high cost of the estimate is the only thing that would deter me from using them again in the future - I would definitely compare prices against other suppliers before committing to a job.

They are excellent! I've dealt with them for years and it is so nice to see the same person(s) show up every six months to check the AC in the six months later to check the furnace. The are very thorough and spend almost an hour each time and they are very good at answering my numerous questions. So, when I needed a new furnace a few years ago, Phillips was my vendor of choice. I have been completly pleased with them.

Excellent service. Service tech checkout old heating forced air system. Patched some wholes . Gave me advice and options for the future replacement of present system.

The representative arrived on time, but blocked my wife with his van in our driveway - she was about to leave for the store and he didn't go out of his way or offer to move his car - bit of an awkward start to the visit. That aside, the inspection went OK. The furnace did not really need anything done to it - most of the filters did not require cleaning at the time. I ordered the inspection just to ensure everything was in good shape - it's been a tough winter and I was running the furnace a lot. The rep. left me with instructions on how to maintain the furnace and how long I should inspect it to last - which is good. I'm glad I took the offer on Angie's list, but I see myself staying with Kohl's - the provider that has been maintaining the furnace for the prior home owner. Chris

Technician showed up on time and was very courteous. He explained everything he was doing with my furnace to me and provided informational tips and pointers for better furnace care. He was very thorough and took his time; he didn't cut corners, in my opinion. I would recommend.
