Gerry and company removed old rotted railroad tie retaining walls and steps and replaced the walls with Versa-Lok and the steps with concrete. The result is fantastic and meant to last a long, long time. It has certainly added value to my property. The gang was courteous, prompt and cleaned up after themselves. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. In fact, I already have.

Gerry and his crew removed old wooden walls x4 along our patio. The job was a very difficult one as we also have pavers on the patio and the steps are bricks. This job involved relaying the bricks after the walls were up. Only one other contractor was willing to complete this part of the job. Gerry and his crew worked in the rain as well as very long hours of manual digging and building. They were hard workers, courteous workers and most importantly designed and restored our patio back to a very nice place to be. They did a beautiful job, better than I expected. AND they cleaned everything up immaculately. Would highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about how well this project was completed from start to finish. Gerry and his crew are amazing! We are extremely pleased with how professional they were and the superior job they did on our steps. They are a piece of art - when it rains water gently runs off the steps and does not puddle! Their work also impressed our neighbors and the contractor doing our kitchen.

Gerry completed a full bathroom renovation in our house in just over two weeks. His work was excellent and he was very friendly, honest and flexible throughout the whole process. He stood by his initial quote even though the project went over in material cost. Because our home only had one bathroom, Gerry worked late into the evening each night to finish the project as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend him and will definitely use his services again.

Gerry is very straight-forward, professional, and knows his craft. He did an excellent job replacing my sidewalk and a thorough patching of two stairs that were in serious disrepair. Several of my neighbors have gone to him for larger projects, and my next door neighbors got his number after seeing his work. I highly recommend him for any concrete job.

I'm a licensed contractor in another state. I needed to get a traffic barrier(wall capable of taking an impact from an auto) and concrete pad poured for a house we own in Pittsburgh. The job was not an easy one due to location as well as the limited area for reinforcement. I had several contractors come out to give bids. Some wanted to do the job without permits and recommended shortcuts, others simply wouldn't take the job due to its difficulty. Of all the contractors Gerry(of Herrmans Constuction) had a unique perspective on how to construct the barrier. It was smart and it ended up to be exactly what I needed(great price as well). It was finished on time and within budget. The quality of work exceeded my expectations and he even added a few features I wasn't expecting. Its important to recognize the companies that excel and Hermann Construction is one of them. Use these Guys!! I would recommend him to a family member.

Called Gerry on 1/13/15 and the job was completed by 1/17/15. I have never had such prompt service by anyone. The steps look better now than they did before. I have already given his number to several friends. Would hire him in a minute. This man knows how to treat customers. Excellent work.

Before we started our project we recieved several quotes and Herrmann was very fair in their pricing. We are very happy with the sidewalk and steps they did for us. I would recommend them to anyone. We will call them again when we are ready to complete the second phase of our sidewalk.

Gerry repaired work that another contractor did with numerous flaws. Gerry was highly efficient and did an excellent job. He was very concerned about making sure the job was done correctly. He always got back to me and carried through on what he said he would do. I plan on using Gerry for future projects.

Gerry, did such a great job!!! We had called three other companies to come out and give us a estimate to rebuild our back wall. One company never showed up, the other company company came out, gave us a estimate and we gave them a deposit and they never showed up to do the work!! But Herrmann Construction, came out and gave us a fair estimate We hired Herrmann Construction they came out and did such a wonderful job!!!

We did exposed concrete driveway. Contractor did excellent job.
