Dun-Rite Window and Door

I called them, gave them measurements over the phone, he said he could replace the broken panel instead of replacing the whole window. He came and measured the windows for himself as well. In no time at all, he had taken the old panels out and replaced them He was very prompt, clean and was very efficient. I was very pleased with him and the price.

PERFECT. I had ordered the doors early November knowing that we would be away on vacation at the end of the month for a week. While on vacation my husband became ill and had to in the hospital for 8 weeks. I didn't return to Pittsburgh until Dec 18th and there were messages on my home phone from Dino. I meant to call him that week but was just too busy trying to get back to work and go to the hospital every night. Dino actually called me at home again on a Sunday morning, I explained the situation and he could not have been nicer and more understanding. I made arrangements for my sister-in-law to be at the house for the installation in early January. Doors look and work perfect - I could not ask for more. It truly was a pleasure to deal with Dino and his team. When I need new windows I will call Dino at Dun-Rite again. I would recommend him to everyone.

Dino is a working owner - responsive, professional and easy to get along with. He was on time for the estimate and his installers (Joe and Joe) were professional, on time and did a quality installation. They even did a minor fix to an awning before hanging the doors. I highly recommend Dino and his company delivers... it is truly "Dun Rite."

Called Dun-Rite on a Friday and on The following Tuesday Dino came out and gave me an estimate on the spot. We had gotten estimates from 2 other company for 3 sliding doors only because that's all we were going to do but Dun-Rite was able to do 3 sliders with blinds and all of our windows for about the same price. They were on time, very professional and finished in 2 days just as Dino told me. Clean up was good and we absolutely love our new windows and doors. This company is GREAT and Dino is a class act.

Overall we were very pleased with Dun-Rite and chose them over 2 other companies. Dino came out the day after I called for a quote and took a quick look, did some measurements and had a quote right there. He asked about what we were looking for and provided the best option as well as a couple others. He also had an Angie's list discount which was nice! He was very responsive when I had some questions over email and it was easy to make our decision. After we ordered I had some confusion because I thought the windows were supposed to be ready sooner than they were, but we had to wait for the weather to get a little warmer because it was very cold in January. When the installers came they were professional and courteous and the windows looked great! We would definitely use again.

Dino came to give me an estimate within 2 weeks. They had the glass made to fit our window frames and returned two weeks later to install them. Everyone was courteous and efficient. We are very pleased with their work.

We obtained 4-5 estimates including Dun-Rite Window and Door. The owner arrived on time, asked appropriate questions regarding our window needs, and provided knowledgeable advice without being pushy. After measuring the windows, he provided a fair cost estimate. Based on the estimate and the Angie's list reviews that led us to Dun-Rite in the first place, we signed an agreement that day. The installation was scheduled approximately 3 weeks later. Dino told us the installation would likely take 3 days. However, the installation was completed in 2 days. The crew was also very professional. The old windows were removed and everything was clean when I arrived home. It was like no one had even been there except that our house looked completely different on the outside with our beautiful new windows! We were very pleased with Dun-Rite and hope to work them on the installation of a new storm door in the future.

Dino came to our house quickly after I called him and he gave a very accurate estimate. He then emailed the estimate that day before he left for vacation. The windows came in very quickly and his two men came in to install. The entire process from start to finish was extremely professional. We are very happy with our new windows and highly recommend Dun-Rite Windows and Door to anyone.

We got new windows installed in our home and we couldn’t even hear the cars coming down the road. They are heavier windows and when they were installing it they were really good about getting the window taken care of right away. We have no complaints.

I thought they were very friendly and responsive. Great qualify of work. Price was reasonable. I had a slight issue and they were very quick to respond and correct it. They also gave me a discount for being from Angie's List.

I agree with all the previous comments about Dino. He and his crew were very professional and did a great job replacing our sliding patio door. We are very satisfied with their service and we would highly recommend them to our friends.

Dino came out and provided an estimate; there was 5% off for finding them on Angies List. They provided the lowest estimate of the four companies we called. It took several weeks for the windows to come in and Dino called to schedule the installation. The installers came out and installed the windows, it took the exact amount of time Dino had originally quoted, about 2 hours.We love our new windows. They are very courteous, punctual, and professional; we will definitely us them in the future and refer them to our friends and family. It was a positive experience and we are hoping to replace more windows in the future.

The estimator was knowledgeable, the product was of very high quality, the price was fair and reasonable, the owner kept me posted on the schedule and lived up to his word when one segment of the work became harder than projected. The installers were very professional and took care not to dirty or damage my home. i definitely would use Dun Rite again!

Called Dun Rite on a Thursday requesting an estimate on replacing all the windows in my home. Dino, owner, of Dun Rite returned my call the same day and made arrangements to come to my house the next day and measure widows. The following day, Dino arrived as promised, measured widows and promised an estimate soon. Estimate arrived via email that same afternoon. The following Monday, called Dino to give him the go-ahead. Dino ordered windows and promised a call when windows arrived. Seven days later got a call from Dino that the windows were in and that installation could begin the next day and would take two to three days depending on difficulty of removing old windows. The following day, John and crew of Dun Rite arrived and went right to work, By the end of day one, 11 of 19 windows installed and glass block window in garage completed. No work the next day as a major snow storm arrived. One day later crew returned and completed work. All work was of the highest quality. John and the crew were professional, efficient and took care to clean up thoroughly. In short, I cannot imagine anyone providing a better product or service. Start to finish in 13 days - quality product, quality service, fair price, responsive staff, excellent result. If you need windows or doors, call these people.

Dino was professional and punctual. The workmen were polite and considerate, and cleaned up when they were finished. I would definitely recommend them. Dino came to check on their progress. The job was very well done.

Installed 16 new windows and 3 sliding glass doors. Two of the three doors locked at first but then the mechanism stopped working. Called Dino and mechanisms were replaced.

They gave us a very fair estimate and explained the difference between their budget window and other products they offered. We got 3 estimates for this job. Two from most highly rated companies on Angies List and the other from a company very close to the home where the work was to be done. The owner came out to give the estimate. I never actually met him because we had to travel in from out of state to get the estimate but my mother who lived nearby was there meet him. His estimate was good but so were the competitors so we had a difficult decision. Another company (Window World) was nationwide with perhaps a better guarantee and the good houselkeeping seal on their product (that they made themselves). Another company (Nuview) was local and made their windows locally too. In fact their shop was less than 4 miles from the house. In the end we selected Dunn Rite based on our trust of the Angies List reviews. Dunn Rite was top rated after many reviews. The Good: The crew (2) came on time and worked fast. We were told that it may take more than 1 day to replace the 20 windows but they finished quickly. We are very happy with the final results and the product. The Bad: They did drop a couple spots of non-water based caulk on the (already cleaned) wood floors that we had to clean up (minor).

I'm writing this way after the fact, but wanted to report a positive experience--they were prompt (work was wrapped up within a few weeks, including time to order parts). They repaired/replaced a few window panes and repaired one window's cranking mechanism. Professional folks, and I would use them again. Only disappointment was that they do not paint--almost any window work needs to be followed up with painting--but that aside, this was a pretty good experience.

They just finished installing the windows several days ago, they Were there very punctually, the new windows look beautifully, I am very happy with the job they have done, the owner Dino he is very easy to communicate with, the only problem was at the last day Working on the windows they just found out one of the windows had a wrong measurement, but they promised me they're going to come back after new year to put the new window on, overall was very good, I will definitely use them to do the windows again in the future.

installers are here now- totally professional,doing a beautiful job,spotlessly clean, even rehung my curtains!! im tickled!!! all along dino has communicated,shown up when he said ,as well as the installers, all phone calls returned.in my book,half the battle is getting a response,let alone getting some one to show up.Thank you guys so much!!
