Description of Work: Have used Classic Asphalt for more than ten (10) years. Originally Classic put in a 30' X 60' driveway for me at a very reasonable cost. While I am not sure of the exact cost from 10 years ago, it was in the neighborhood of $2500. Since then, on an annual or semi annual basis, Classic has returned to seal coat the driveway, depending condition. It also has be noted, that Classic stands behind its products completely. At one point, the sealing compound did not last as was it was expected, and Classic sealed the driveway that year on a no cost to me basis.

Description of Work: Tom and his sons were excellent from the initial quote to the project completion. We had several other bids and Tom's was more detailed and slightly lower than the other 2 companies. The work was done (weather permitting) on time and we have an excellent driveway that is sloped just right to allow surface water to drain away from the home. We are using them again to seal the surface this season. We highly recommend their services. The day of installation, the truck they used accidentally (gently mind you) scuffed my wife's front bumper. No one was there to see it. They got my wife's attention and showed her what happened. It did not even make a scuff just a small mark that was cleaned off easliy. The fact that they even told us about this issue, when no one else was there to see it, shows the character of this company; true professionalism, courteousness, and honesty. We have already refereed them to friends and will continue to do so.

 + -1 moreTom came to our house and provided a free estimates. Of the three we received, his price was best. (One company wouldn't even come out; just gave us an estimate over the phone based on the size of the driveway). He gave us a contract which we signed and returned. (I have dealt with companies who write a figure on the back of their business card - usually with negative outcomes). He told us he would put us on the schedule for August, and called in August with a date. He arrived on time in the morning. He and his sons were pleasant to be around, and the job was completed in two days. Half payment was due after their arrival and the rest upon completion. He gave us clear instructions on how to care for the driveway (how often to seal) and also does the sealing if you want him to. Overall, it was a good experience. The driveway looks great, and we are happy.
Description of Work: Tom and his sons dug out an old dilapidated driveway and replaced it with a new asphalt driveway.

We got our moneys worth because they did an outstanding job. They cleaned up well. They came when they said they were going to come. They did the work they said they would do. They were even nice enough to call to check on the work.

 + -1 moreI got one estimate that said I needed to dig the driveway out and completely replace it. He said the base was fine if they just put three inches on top and it would be half the price, which was nice. He came back to seal it and it wasn't a hot enough day and it looked really bad so he came back to redo it, which he did but it still wasn't good, so he is supposed to come back in the spring to redo it again.

 + -1 moreTom Rabb, Owner, came to house and gave me an estimate 2 days after I called the company. I accepted the bid 2 days later and a date was set to do patio-1st day and the driveway-2nd day. Both were done as specified and on time, Cleanup was excellent. Very professional crew with owner, who was on the job at all times.He fully explained the work to be done and did it as explained. Would highly recommend this company.

 + -1 moreMr. Rabb was in my neighborhood the day I called for an estimate. He stopped by while I was at work and returned shortly thereafter to explain the estimate to me and the neighbor with whom we share the driveway. He told us there were 3 ways to proceed, one costing $3300, another $3800 and a third for $8400 total for resurfacing. He strongly recommended the $3300 option as best for our situation. He explained the procedure and showed us where old asphalt would be removed to provide for a smooth surface. Since weather became a factor, as is to be expected with outdoor work, the price of asphalt went up subsequent to his original estimate that resulted in and additional $300 total. Approximately a month later he returned to seal the driveway at an additional total cost of $500. (The $4100 mentioned above was the total price for the work - $2050 each.) We are very pleased with the work and would recommend Classic Asphalt.
Description of Work: Cleaned, resurfaced and sealed driveway and driveway apron that spread to encompass two 2-car garages.

 + -1 moreAt $3500, his prices were very reasonable and when he came back out to seal the driveway a month later, it was only an additional $175 to seal it. Doing the (driveway) work, they didn't splash anything on anything or get anything on the neighbor's driveway or steps. It can be a pretty messy job so I thought they did really well. He and all his people were very professional. I would use them again.
Description of Work: They removed our old driveway and put in a new driveway which is about 4 or 5 car lengths wide long.

 + -1 moreWhen I contacted Classic Asphalt in early June, they indicated they would place me on the list to seal my driveway before the end of the month, and that they would call a few days before to confirm the date. With only one week in the month to go, I called to confirm that we were still on their list. Classic Asphalt returned my call 2 days later to confirm the work would be completed the next day. They arrived as scheduled and completed the work to our satisfaction.

 + -1 moreGreat job! Everything went smooth and to plan. Showed up on time re- explained what was in the appraisal. Started and finished same day. We are set up for them to seal it in the Fall. Also one of our neighbors has already use them for minor work. One other took a bid for his driveway. They were both home to see the work in our driveway from start to finish.
Description of Work: Our old driveway was buckling and falling apart. They completely dug up the old, releveled and paved. Added 2 tons more of gravel 2 inches corse & 1.5 inches of finished asphalt.

 + -1 moreThe entire crew was friendly and professional. Tom left voicemails so that I would know exactly what was happening and when. The driveway looks so much better. My plants and neighbor's property were respected and well cared for.
Description of Work: Tom and his crew pulled the weeds in our driveway and moved a dump truck full of debris one afternoon, and then arrived the next morning with three dump trucks full of asphalt to pave the steep driveway the next day.
