After a disasterous experience with a contractor assigned by our home warranty company, we called D&D Golder to come out and assess our well pump.  The house was without water.  They responded by phone immediately and were out in a matter of hours.  They replaced the well pump same day.  I don't know what we would have done without them.

About a year ago, on a friend's referral, we called them out to fix our holding tank in the basement.  They were great then too! They are definitely on our short list of trusted contractors!

PS - we have terminated our relationship with the home warranty company due to the substandard contractor that they use for plumbing.

I called at 8:30 and they were there and had the issue fixed by 10:30.  Instead of trying to sell me a new pump / tank and whatever else, they just pumped the air tank and replaced the control box.  Everything was back and running within 2 hours of my call.  I REALLY appropriate the honesty and fast service which is very hard to come by.  They were very friendly and careful and explained exact what was needed, what may need to be done in the future and left me feeling confident.
I will definitely use and recommend D&D Golder!  Excellent A+++  in my book!

It went great. They came on time and finished the work in a reasonable amount of time. David was very knowledgeable and explained everything about the whole system, including the indoor pieces like the pump and the tank, etc. I was so impressed that I purchased a two-year service contract! (I was not pushed in any way to do this, by the way.)

On Oct 2 my water pressure went to near zero. On Oct 3 at 7am I called Golder. They planned to arrive between 10 and 10:30. After calling that they were running late, they finally arrived at 11am.
After touring the well equipment, they pointed out several items that were defective; the storage tankand pressure valve. They showed me that it was broken, and the need for replacement. After the repair, the water pressure did not return to normal.
They continued their search. They discovered some sealing material blocking a pipe and restricting the flow. Upon removing the blockage, they discovered that there was a leak between the well and the house. After proving to me that there was a leak they proceeded to dig by hand a 4 to 5 ft hole by the well to find the leak. Luckily their hunch was correct and the leak was in the pipe leading from the well. So they did not have to dig any more holes. they repaired the leaking part, and gave me the bad part.
They proceeded to clean up.
Other than a few large rocks from the hole, that ended up in the garden, their clean up was meticulous. There was no sign that they had ever been at my house.
A major plus was they had all needed parts, and equipment in their truck,( even down to the UV bulb for replacement). This inventory they carried, allowed the repair to go quickly. they did not have to leave to go get a part, or equipment. The whole appointment took about 3 hours.
they even serviced the filtering system.
Upon departure they honored their 10% angie's list discount.
My water pressure is better than it has ever been., and after the discount I was even more happy.

After using another service for a few years with much disappointment and high bills for regular service I reached out to Dand D Golder and will NEVER change again. House home used to have pathetic water and water pressure...now it is a pleasure to take a shower or a bath! Do not hesitate to use Dand D Golder, you won't be disappointed.

Dave has been our well and water service provider for many years. He knows the unique quirks of our system and treats it like it was his own. If you have a well in our area, I highly recommend Dand D. Totally competent and trustworthy.

I called Dave to assess my well so that our water/pressure could be restored. He and his son were there promptly the next morning - (on the Memorial Day holiday!) He not only repaired my damaged well cap and pipe, but also repaired/reset my water conditioner which I had not been able to use for some time. I also had a clog in a pipe leading from my sump pump. It had been cut in an alternate location causing water to drain/collect in an area of my lawn which remained muddy and saturated. His son was able to pin point the location of the clog (in an approx 1/2 acre long pipe) within minutes. He began digging the ground there and sure enough, a tree root was discovered to be the problem causing the clog in that precise location! They cleared the clog and repaired the pipe on both ends enabling the water to drain into a designated drainage ditch as it was meant to. They did all of this in approx an hour and a half! I was delighted with the service I received and would absolutely rehire them in the future! Thank you! //
