Description of Work: Restored proper ground clearance on trunks of my existing trees. Work went well.

Description of Work: They were doing work for my neighbor and came over when they were done and took down a dead tree. They seemed professional and did a great job, cutting it up into the right size for the fireplace.

Description of Work: Mr. Shrock was punctual, friendly and very, very knowledgeable regarding tree types and the growth, lifespan, diseases, pro's and con's of all species. He was truly an artist using only ropes to ascend and trim a large, old oak tree on our property, dropping dead limbs precisely where planned with no damage to nearby structures or other trees. He also felled 3 other tree portions for us. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have him advise us and satisfy the needs of our small wooded property. Matt is proof of the valuable difference between a professional arborist and just another guy with a chain saw. We trust him to such a degree that we also invested in a Chinese hemlock, (planted by Woodlawn) a hardy, disease resistant variety we would never have known of or considered on our own.

Description of Work: The owner of this business gave us a thorough and professional consultation on a number of questions that we posed R/T various trees and shrubs on our property. As an arborist, he was quite knowledgeable about the species on our land as well as others that might thrive in our soil type. He was also able to advise us on the risks/benefits of retaining or terminating some of our trees. His quoted prices were reasonable and we expect to employ his company soon for tree removal as well as new plantings.

Description of Work: Purchased a 22 ft. Sugar Maple and contracted with them to deliver and install the tree. Matt Schrock, the owner and a certified arborist, was pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful with questions pertaining to the tree and care of the tree. They were prompt on the date of delivery and carefully installed the tree in our front yard. It is a beautiful addition to our yard, and we may be purchasing another tree from them in the future.

Description of Work: We used Schrock's Arbor Service. They trimmed trees for us including white pines. They did a great job and prevented potential damage to our house from occurring: falling branches.

Description of Work: Removal and stump grinding of two very large trees (50 to 60' high); removal of one thinner tree and trimming one limb off a fourth tree. We were very well-pleased with Matt and his crew. Great attention to detail, very little disturbance to our yard, fast clean-up, very professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend Schrock's and we plan to call them again in the future.

Description of Work: We had recently lost a large tree in our front yard and wanted to replace it with a different species. Matt gave great advice and recommendations, then his team came out to remove the old stump and plant the new tree. They are very knowledgable and professional. Their stock is healthy and our tree has grown beautifully for the past 4 years. I will certainly use them again for any arborist needs.

Description of Work: Matt Schrock is very knowledgeable about trees and makes excellent recommendations. His employees are very professional and do professional work. I was impressed how they systematically and skillfully cut and lower branches and the main trunk of a tree in sections carefully to the ground. A second worker cleaned up and ground the limbs as they went. |I had gotten lower bids, but in my opinion, it is better to pay someone who is reputable, professional, insured and skilled at what they do.
