The repair was challenging because of the way the floor was laid. The plumber arrived in a timely manner. The plumber and his apprentice worked non-stop until the toilet and floor were just right. The plumber explained in detail what had happened and what he had to do to fix it. He thoroughly cleaned up after finishing the repair. We found his price to be fair and reasonable.

We're very satisfied with the work and found Mr. Crowley to be easy-going and pleasant to work with. He's very honest--when his workers accidentally damaged a shower base, he replaced it without any fuss and he was willing to answer our questions. His price on the original work was reasonable based on the effort involved but we did think he was a bit high when we had to make a couple changes. I wouldn't hesitate to hire this firm again and would recommend it to others.

I have used them a lot over the years. They did my kitchen the year before. They have replaced a toilet, did plumbing in a sink and kitchen plumbing with the dishwasher. They didn't charge the last time because that was a repair of something. They are honest and easy to deal with. They are a good value for the money.

He was not very helpful. We called him to install faucets in our sinks and he just said it couldnt be done, he then charged us $100 for the visit and left. We ended up buying a very cheap part we were missing for the faucet and installing them ourselves.

We have a toilet drain that won't pass solids but is fine with liquids. They attempted to clean the drain through the toilet but were unsuccessful. They thought I would need a new toilet and recommended not pulling it at that time, because they did not have a replacement toilet with them. Pulling the toilet would take them over the first hour and cost extra. I asked them to go ahead and pull the toilet. They did and cleaned the extreme calcium buildup (almost completely blocked) in the drain. However, they could not get the passage through the toilet cleaned out and confirmed that I would need a new toilet.

They were very pleasant, worked fast, were neat and cleaned up afterwards. I will have them replace the toilet.

Their rate was as quoted and was fair. They had no coupons or discounts. Their quoted rate was what others charge after the coupon. They quoted $110. Others quoted $135 but had a $25 coupon. I like these guys. No tricks. Straightforward. Fair.

Crowley's first diagnosed our problem simply as a clogged drain. They snaked it, briefly tested the drain and went on their way. When the drain stopped the next day, Crowley's quickly diagnosed the broken pipe. They were very responsive and brought in a camera to identify the location of the break as closely as possible. Then the fun began. It became a two plus day job to break through the tile floor, jack hammer the concrete slab and excavate the hole to get at the pipe. What a dirty, dusty mess! But Bill and his crew were prompt, courteous, professional and worked like dogs through very hot conditions (since we couldn't have the AC on to avoid spreading dust throughout the house). Despite the mess, they cleaned up the work area thoroughly after filling the hole. Of course, even though they hung plastic sheeting all around the work area, dust migrated everywhere and we are still finding dust, but that is the nature of the beast. I was pleased enough with Bill and his crew that we had them proactively replace our aging water heater while they were there. I think Bill could have prepared us better for the mess that this job would create so that we could have protected more things. And I think his crew could have caught the break during their first visit, but that is a close call. Other than that, I was completely satisfied with Crowley's work and would recommend them again to anyone. As for the price, I didn't bother with competitive estimates (I just wanted it fixed and fixed fast), so can't really comment on whether the price was reasonable. Now for replacing the tile!

I was so happy with Crowley's work that they became my "go to" plumbers over the 11 years I lived in Yardley (just moved out last week). After they did such a good job on my bathroom, I stopped even asking for competitive bids - I just hired them. They always showed up when they said they would, did good, reliable work, and were nice guys to boot.

They put the dishwasher in - took time but that was ok. When they turned the dishwasher on it didn't work. The plumber speculated it might be the dishwasher motor or the circuit breakers. They check the circuit breakers and all was fine. They recommended that I have an electrician come in. After they left I turned the kitchen faucet on and the water started gushing out of the pipe. They forgot to close the valve. It was a mess. I called an electrician who came promptly and determined there was nothing wrong with the electrical in my house. The electrician cost me $105. I asked the electrician "Could it be possible that the plumber didn't plug in the dishwasher?" I called Crowley to ask them to come back and they did a few days later. They pulled out the dishwasher to find that indeed, they did not plug in the dishwasher. I couldn't believe it. They installed the dishwasher and didn't even acknowledge they made a mistake or apologize for the inconvenience. When I opened the dishwasher for the first time to clean dishes, the dishwasher tipped forward considerably. The plumbers didn't install the brackets. I had to ask a contractor to install the brackets. To add insult to injury Crowley insisted on charging me $85 for the second visit. The second visit occurred because they did a poor job the first time around. They forget to plug the dishwasher in.... Moreover, I had to pay an electrician to tell me all is ok. So, it cost me $160 for the dishwasher install, $105 for the electrician, and I was billed $85 for the second visit.

The job went extremely well. Bill and his assistant/apprentice came out to view the problem on short notice and he seemed very confident working with the old, non-standard plumbing in our 80+ year old house. Once we selected the type of fixtures we wanted to install, he came out and did the rough plumbing work, completing the job in about an hour. We did have some trouble with the scheduling of this roughing-out phase of work because the fixtures we wanted (a hand shower, faucet, and two handles) were not in stock with the local distributor they used. This information could have been communicated in a more timely fashion. However, once the fixtures arrived and the work could be undertaken, it was done well and quickly. Bill came back a week later and finished the installation. Scheduling was tricky throughout the job because we had a short time frame to complete the project and Bill was very busy with other jobs as well. The final installation was great. He took time to discuss various ways the hand shower could be installed (how high, centered or off-center, etc.) and explained the merits of each option. He then completed the installation and did a great job with it. I would mark down a little bit for punctuality, not because he didn't show up on time (he always did), but because scheduling was really tough and Debbie in the office needs to reach out to customers as soon as she knows their might be an issues with timing or product availability.

This should have been a simple job, install a new toilet and hook it up. They had to come twice and the unit has failed in just over 2 years (25 months). Not happy and will not use them again.

Response time is good, price is good. The people that come to the house are excellent, but their dispatcher gives us a time frame and they don't usually arrive in that time frame. When we have called to inquire, they seem a little defensive. We will definitely use them again. They are very honest.

The plumber came twice - once to estimate and again to perform the work. Both times he was on time. The service was neatly done and efficient. He showed me the old pipe to verify the old damage. Recommend highly.

THE PLUMBER WHO WAS SENT OUT WAS PROFESSIONAL,AND WAS ABLE TO FIX THE PROBLEM IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. THE PRICE SEEMED HIGH, BUT WE DON'T USE A PLUMBER VERY OFTEN.
