Description of Work: My fridge/freezer were dead and would not cool. Made clicking sound for a few days, then went dead. They replaced a malfunctioning Control Board on my GE side/side refrigerator with an new OEM Part. It was done quickly and professionally. |

Description of Work: I called asking for a service person to look at my dryer, which wasn't heating properly. They said to first check the vent for excess lint and clear it out if I find any. If that wasn't the problem to please call them back and an appointment would be made. Although I regularly clean the lint trap, there was excess lint in the filter on the outside of the house. I was able to clean it myself and the dryer has worked just fine since. Had this been my former appliance repair company they would have just sent a service person out and I would have had to pay the service call to have him do what Davidson recommended I do myself. I will be calling Davidson for any appliance repairs I may need in the future.

+ -1 moreCalled Davidson Appliance and got an appointment the same day. Very curteous on telephone. He came in the evening as promised and immediately knew what the problem was. The Unit had blown a "Jazz Board" and in about an hour he defrosted the freezer, installed the new part and put everything back and was on his way. Was friendly, curteous and knowledgeable and also had the right part with him which saved a future trip. The Unit was under warranty but I lost my paperwork. He told me to call Lowes warranty and have the information pulled up. I did and after sending in a copy of the reciept for the repair, Lowes reimbursed me the full amount. It helped that he was an authorized Lowes warranty repairman. I was very happy with their service, demeanor, and price. I would definiatley call them again if I need them for any other appliance. A+ experience with them.
Description of Work: Needed repair on my 4 year old Whirlpool Gold refrigerator which wasn't cooling the fridge and overfreezing the freezer.

+ -1 moreHis work order said I have a Maytag but when he got to my house, he saw I had a G.E. I told him that I called and made the appointment while in my office and that I do not recall being asked the make. If I was asked the make, I would not have known the answer because I would have forgotten. He said, "Sure they asked me. They are supposed to ask." I just let it go.
Description of Work: My dishwasher was leaking water from the bottom front. He ran the dishwasher and it did not leak. Then he asked me how often I run the appliance. When I said not often at all -- about once every two or three months -- he said the gaskets could have shrunk over time. When I did run the appliance again, the water was too much for the gaskets. Even if I do not run the dishwasher often, I should run it at least once a week on "Dry and Hold". He charged me for a service call but said if I have trouble again, call him again and I will not be charged for a service call.
