All three times Finn's responsiveness and service were excellent. The first time we ever hired them was for an emergency leak in a shut off valve under the kitchen sink and they came right out after hours and did a temporary fix until they could get the real repair done. They truly are a friendly, helpful neighborhood business and my husband and I would highly recommended them.

Needed a plumber to clear a blocked pipe causing the kitchen sink to not drain. Called at 8:30 in the morning and spoke to someone and explained the situation. She was not sure if they would be able to get there today, but they would call me back. Waited all day. Received a call back at 5:40 in the evening from the plumber. He told me they have no drain cleaning machine and cannot assist. So I waited all day for this plumber to call me back when they could not help. If they had the courtesy to let me know they could not help with this problem, I could have called another plumber and had the issue addressed. Instead I get to miss another day of work to get the drain cleared.

Did a terrific job replacing a 75 gallon water heater. He has always done a great job and is honest and fair priced. This was a big job, moving this big water heater up to the second floor and removing the old one. Completely re-plumbed the piping to accommodate an emergency water shutoff valve in case of a leak.

Came exactly on time, did the job, plus fixed another job, the kitchen sink. We have used him before and have always been happy with his work.

Quick response even though it was not an emergency situation. Completed the job quickly and cleanly. We used Finn on a recommendation from a neighbor, and, wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Their work was flawless. They had to redo a lot of the water lines to accommodate a new refrigerator, new gas stove, the relocation of dishwasher, etc. plus the installation or reinstallation of the various appliances. It was all done so well -- I never have to worry. Soon after my kitchen was redone, my washing machine died and even the delivery people commented on the beautiful job that had been done installing the new lines, etc. I had an emergency a few years ago on a Sunday night when my outside faucet exploded (my fault) -- I called Joe and he immediately told me what to do. When the kitchen was being redone, there was a similar incident and Dan offered to come over right away (10:30 p.m. on a Sunday night). This is a family business that really works hard. They are completely dependable and completely honest. It is a real pleasure to have them in my and quot;family.and quot;

Joe and his son were great. They were on time and worked quickly and efficiently. In addition, they replaced the sink drain and stopper. Cleaned up when the work was finished and left the room as they found it. Would certainly use them again. The only negative was we thought their price was a bit high, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I actually met Joe during a previous project at my house I had contracted a general contractor to add a bathrooom to my upstairs and bump out one of the bedrooms The contractor hired Finn Plumbing to do the plumbing in the bathroom After the general contractor failed to finish the project and getting most of the money, I was stuck with an unfinished bathroom and very little funds. The plumbing was being done in two stages and the first part had been completed so I called Finn Plumbing directly - I told him the situation - he stated that he had never done work for this contractor before and agreed to finish his part of my project for the amount the general contractor had agreed to pay him, minus what he had already received from him He also recommended other people to me, that he had used for past projects, to complete the spackling and painting of my bathroom Everyone he referred was wonderful and after hearing how I had been taken advantage of , all gave me great deals to do the work Since then there have been several times I have called him for service and his prices are always fair The last time he came out to fix my garbage disposal (it was jammed) it was very minor and he refused to take any payment He and his son make a great team, they do great work and are just plain nice people - even my dogs love them! I would and do recommend them to anyone and everyone!

Very well. Our hot water heater gave out, and a local realtor referred me to Joe Finsterbusch of Finn Plumbing. Joe came out to give an estimate within an hour of my call. The price he quoted was significantly less than 2 other bids we received, and identical to a 3rd bid. We chose Finn Plumbing based on the quoted price, Joe's referral and the fact that he and his worker Dan were there ready to do the work. A few things in particular impressed me. First, from my initial call to Finn's completion of the work was about 6-7 hours, despite their having to drive about 1.5 hours round trip to get the particular hot water heater after their initial consult. Second, unlike the 2 higher bids, he recommended against our paying extra for a particular related installation unless it proved necessary -- which, as of yet, it hasn't. If that changes, I have no doubt he'll come out promptly and charge a fair price. Third, he stuck to his quoted price despite later learning the newest model heater required PVC piping he hadn't anticipated, and even after I offered to add that cost to the quote.
