One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning

The service repair man was very nice and friendly, however he was unable to fix the issue with my furnace. I was able to get my regular service technician out to properly fix the issue.

What made this especially impressive was that the service call was one of Angie's List's big deals and Ryan went out of his way to provide more than complete service.

I bought a big deal for this service. They sold me a filter that my plumbing and heating guy said was worth about a dollar. They took my old one that was one you can use over and over again. You can just wash it off. They took that with them. Then they wanted to tell me I needed a whole new air conditioning and heating system. My air conditioning unit was crusted in grass. It was horrible. I thought they were going to inspect and clean it. Wasn't that what the big deal was for? They did not do anything to it, except tell me I needed a new one and give me a price for a new one.

Didnt use because a family member did the work for free however the people i spoke with were very friendly and would use them if i didnt have a family member with hvac knowledge

Our air conditioner died on what would be the hottest week of the year (go figure!) This provider was a bit pushy in trying to get us to sign the deal for a new one. After getting a few more quotes, turns out this was one of the most expensive options for similarly performing replacement units.

The workers were wonderful. Superb service.

They did an awesome job. They even provided a free filter.

Provider was very knowledgeable and helpful. Just did a basic service on the AC unit.

It went very smoothly. I appreciated that he wore his plastic booties over his workboots. We have very light carpet, and I was tickled pink to see that! He was absolutely professional, pleasant, and efficient. He explained what he did and made some recommendations, which we followed. We would use there services again.

Prompt courteous service. Systems did not need any repairs or further work. Service tech did not try and sell me unnecessary parts or service.

Our air conditioner had stopped working. One Hour came out, went over the air conditioner and discovered the condenser was bad. They replaced the condenser and we are now enjoying a cool comfortable house.

We never used them but they were super prompt getting back to us and lovely to deal with, which is very important to us. It seemed likely that the "deal" was not going to be much of one since they basically admitted that no one makes a $29 service call without finding something that needs fixing and in this case that would initiate a $99 fee immediately. I would use them again, but might go directly to them rather than through here.

The inspection was quite thorough, though the news was not good. My system had been performing poorly since I bought the house recently. It turns out that the ductwork was inadequate and that my condensor and evaporator units were mismatched to one another and not holding refrigerant. The recommendation was that I probably need a whole new system. .

Prompt service - ordered it on Monday morning, was contacted within the hour, and fixed late afternoon.

He checked out the unit which was 13yrs old. everything was fine, then the cold weather pushed the unit to its breaking point. I had them come out again to see why we were not getting any heat in the house. Turns out the heat pump coil was leaking that part was $2,000. This was the first major repair for our HVAC so I was like fine lets change it. They came out a week later when the part finally came in and changed it. They said that it should only take a few hours(4-6hrs) and it ended up taking all day because of a problem with the soldering of the new coil. But the price did not increase from what the quoted me at the charge a flat rate so time does not factor in when they quote you a price for service/repair. So a week after the coil was installed the indoor blower couldn't keep up and now that needed replaced. At this point I wanted to know what a new system was going to cost. It ended up that if I changed the indoor blower with the cost of the coil I just did it would be cheaper to buy a new unit. Which is what we did and One hour gave us a $1000 credit since we just replaced the coil a week prior. There service people are great they don't leave a mess and wear shoe booties so that they don't track in dirt into your home.

The technician diagnosed the failure (loss of Freon) to plugged ducts. Upon his departure, the ducts were inspected with no contamination found. I think he was trying to sell a service. Rather than find the Freon leak (temporary and costly) we elected to replace the unit. One Hour replacement estimate was higher than other providers for the same or a better unit . I think One hour technicians and sales personnel are looking for additional sales rather than provide a service.

Technician was prompt and cordial. He wore paper boots over his shoes to protect our floors. We paid for an upfront deal on a 1/2 hour service from Angie's List, so that covered the diagnosis and then it was $212 for up to two pounds of coolant. It was quick and easy and best of all, we are now nice and cool in the house.

The serviceman was very nice and professional.

it was an angie's list special 49.00 for 149.00 air cond. service. service tech. found worn parts and discussed them with me and i had him replace them thus costing me 347.00very proff. tech.

It went amazing. I have used independent companies before and then larger companies but I have never experience the level of service that I did this week with anyone in the heating and cooling business. Our air conditioner broke - it was old - 14 years. I looked at the reviews on Angie's and thought I would try them. I had contacted a friend of a friend before that and they told me two days. Well, Ryan came out within two hours. We have four children and older dogs who cannot be in the heat. Ryan spent two hours with us until about 1am. He wasn't tired. He took his time. He answered our questions. He was professional and throughly knew his job. Ryan provided great service and a fantastic experience. Our new air conditoner was scheduled for the next 36 hours. I was shocked to find out I was just as impressed with the installation people! Seth, and two others were so professional. They worked like Ryan until the job was done and we were happy. They took the time to make sure all the units were tested and safe. They walked us through all the shut offs and what we need to do year round. They explained the controllers to us. Excellent customer service! Everything in the yard and the house was completely cleaned up like they were never there. This is after installing two new air conditoners, a new heater and a humidifier? WOW!!!!!!! I live in Downingtown, PA and contacted the Lancaster branch on Running Pump Road (I wanted to point that out since there are several different areas) I will always use this company. I trust them 100%. I highly recommend this company!

We did see that they have a 5-star rating on Angie's List and that's why we called them. We paid $50. I think $200 is covered and anything above that you're supposed to pay out of pocket. They're technically really sound. I told the first technician who came that some water was leaking and he could right away tell us that the coil in the HVAC has to be replaced, even though our house is pretty new. It's five years old. He did not even open the HVAC and that was the problem. I think they are really good. The service was really quick. For the coil, we didn't know who to contact. They contacted the supplier who installed the HVAC and got us a discount. That was very good. It was pouring when he came and he did change the coolant. He explained. We didn't know much about it and he made sure that we understood in normal common terms. We're planning to extend them to plumbing services too.
