Description of Work: Technician was on time. He was very knowledgeable of my boiler unit. I am a first time home buyer, he was able to make me aware of the system I have and proper maintenance. I bought the service warranty on the furnace, plumbing and electrical which came in handy.

Description of Work: I had purchased a deal from Angie's list for a maintenance package for my furnace. There was a rattling sound I wanted checked out. When the technician came, he said the deal I had purchased was for repairs, and that if no repairs were made, I would be responsible for the service charge. In the end, my furnace was fine, no repairs were needed, and the deal I purchased from Angie's list was useless. But I had agreed, so I was aware I would have to pay. The technician must have some sort of quota to meet, because he took about a half an hour after the service was complete trying to get me to sign-up for their maintenance subscription plan. I declined several times, and then he called his manager to see if I could possibly still use my coupon (what is this, a used car lot?). Low and behold, they could honor my coupon, IF I signed up for the subscription. I found the whole thing to be shady and a slimy move by the company. Either you honor the coupon or not. Don't sit in my kitchen and try to pressure me into buying into your plan with second-rate sales tactics. Needless to say, I won't be using the One Hour Heating OR purchasing any more worthless "Deals" on Angie's list.

Description of Work: Anthony was awesome. He came out to service my furnace for the $49.00 deal they had. He was extremely professional and thorough explaining everything he was doing. For only $49.00 I really wasn't expecting too much but I felt that I received way more than my money's worth and will absolutely use them again.

Description of Work: The guy that showed up here started out ok. He told me that everything was fine and then all of a sudden he changes his mind....you could tell it was a lie. He said i needed something or other (can't remember what he said exactly)and I said how much will that cost. He said 200.00....i said what???? Now mind you my air conditioner was working fine when he arrived and my only concern was it ran alot but it did work and it cooled my place down in matter of minutes every single time without fail. When he left nothing worked. I called him and he returned but i was at a dental appointment at that time. He said it would take a while since it was shut off....i said the air conditioner worked when you arrived here and it had better work when you leave. You were not give permission to do anything to my air conditioner except the check that i paid for through Angies list. He left and then was called a second time because it was not working. The second time he must have fixed whatever he broke because all of a sudden it was working as it did before. He said he would check back the next day but i have never heard from the guy again.

Description of Work: They did two furnace cleanings for me. They were professional and very helpful. They were quite knowledgeable and very patient. I would definitely use them again and they are a very honest company.

Description of Work: Did preventive maintenance and cleaning on propane gas furnace system prior to winter months. Technician completed service within 1.25 hours, very professional and courteous. Also, pointed out items to keep an eye on but did not apply any high pressure sales tactics.

Description of Work: Cleaned and serviced my gas furnace, he was prompt and did an excellent job. I will be using One Hour for any of my furnace needs. I was so very pleased.
