Rob Clark did a great job and was very honest which is most important to me. He went the extra mile and I will be requesting him in the future.

The service man arrived 30 minutes early - which was good. He introdcued himself and asked what was happening that I needed service. He then proceeded to explain to me what he was going to check and why. When he was finished checking the unit, he sat down with me and discussed options. My unit is 14 years old and nearing the end of its "life", so we discussed how to move forward with the options presented. Even though the unit should be replaced in another year or two, he did not try to sell me a new one, nor did he "push" the most expensive option of service on me. After choosing the option that best fit my financial situation, he finished the service call. This is my first experience with servicing a central air unit, I had no idea on what to expect nor the cost. When presented with the bill, I was pleased with the price - it was less than the other businessses I had researched. He was very professional and treated me with respect. When the time comes to replace my unit, I will seriously think about using them again.

They were great. They came out next day. I was very impressed how quickly they repsonded. They answered all of my questions patiently and happily. I signed up to have them do future maintenance since I was so pleased with them.

We have used this provider a number of times and, as usual, were very pleased. The service specialist arrived right on time . He covered his shoes before entering our home. He performed the service on the furnace, leaving with us a comprehensive list of what he had done. He also went over some of it verbally. I like having things explained. He also checked the thermostat and changed the batteries. He left the old batteries with us because they still had use in them. The serviceman was very professional in his demeanor and courteous and friendly as well. We would certainly use this company again.

Very good! Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact date as to when the services were performed...I'm writing this review on 2/18/2013. My central air conditioner "broke down" during one of the hottest times of the year (sometime in August, 2012); unfortunately, I didn't find this out till about 8:00 pm when I noticed that my fan was running continuously - literally, without stopping and blowing nothing but hot air. Not to mention that I was sweating like crazy after being in the house for over an hour. I called Rohrer's and was told that the technician couldn't come out till 11:00 pm that night so I told the lady that I'll just wait for someone to come out the next morning. The guy came, and I remember that he was on time (if I remember correctly, he was at my house at 8 am; sorry but I'm horrible with peoples' names!). He told me that I did need a new capacitor, so I agreed to him installing one. If I remember correctly, the price was $278.00 for the part and labor. I had cooler air in my house within the next 1-1/2 hours, and the A/C worked throughout the rest of the summer and most of the fall. I'm very pleased with the prompt service and repair.

Also I would like to cancel my Angie's list membership...I will not be using this service again.

The company provided a bid and assisted in coordinating the change from an old, outdated, oil boiler to a new gas fired boiler for my hydronic heating system. They handled the negotiations, permits and other details with UGI. After UGI installed the gas service to my home, One Hour installed a new hydronic gas fired heating system. Despite my doubts, the crew successfully installed the new system and had my heating system working in one day!! This included the removal of the oil in my tank and the removal of the tank and exterior pipes as well as repair to the openings in my basement wall from the old pipes. Special thanks to Preston, my sales rep, who handled the whole transaction smoothly. The initial crew of five handled the work expertly and left an exceptionally clean work site in my basement. It was clear that each crew member had a specific job (electric, plumbing and installation of the new heating system) They were especially attentive to cleanliness, wearing their work booties over their work shoes when upstairs and using long runners in the finished basement to insure no marks or dirt were left on the floor. They also carefully inspected all the new gas lines to insure that there were no leaks. I would highly recommend this company for any work related to heating or air conditioning. They also perform all my repair and maintenance work on both the A/C and heating systems and always do excellent, clean work.

Great service. We couldn't ask for more. We signed on for their service plan because we have found in the past that we get our money's worth.

Tech was friendly, polite, and professional. knew immediately what the problem was, but did test to be sure. Replaced pump to system, which required removing 4 screws and installing new pump to outside of unit. The problem I had with this was that pump was available at home depot for $60, and I didn't think labor of removing 4 screws and putting them back in place to secure new pump is worth over about $50 worth of labor. The only way I could make this service call remotely cost effective was to pay about $100 extra (included in price of $434) so that my unit will be serviced by them come spring and any additional problems with this pump will be covered- otherwise it wouldn't have been. The problem is the way their fee structure is set up; if the part you need is listed at the close to $300 price to replace, that's what they charge, regardless of the labor involved. To be fair to the tech, he even looked embarrassed by this, and called the office to double check before charging me. I also was not pleased that my new pump was left hooked up to old tubing filled with sediment, as the tech told me the company doesn't carry this tubing on their trucks. they could get it for me if I wanted- at an additional price. I certainly felt for the price of the part and the labor I was paying, they could have thrown in the tubing (about $7 when I bought it myself at the local hardware store) and provided the labor to replace it. I felt leaving the old sediment filled tubing was definitely risking sediment to the new pump, which would then require another replacement. then when I called into the office the next day as I had some continued problems with water, i found out the pump I replaced was actually only covered for problems for 30 or 60 days, I can't remember which, so my biggest reason for purchasing the protection policy was not valid. As I am disabled and supporting two children on social security, I couldn't afford to be overcharged like this. In the future, I would call this company only if I had some very difficult heating or AC problem that another company couldn't fix.

Great. They showed us the dirt/dust accumulated in our duct system. They cleaned all of the 28+ wall/floor duct covers. It took a good part of the day, approximately 6.5- 7 hours.

They are very punctual and very clean. They are a little pricey but they let everyone know what they are going to charge before they do the work. They also have a saying that if they are late, they will pay you a "x" amount of dollars per minute they are late.

It went fine. They had a really good service man that knew what he was doing. He did a good job.

He is great. We love the service. We use them all of the time. He is very reliable and efficient. We have used used him 5 or 6 times.

The service went very well. We had a circuit go bad and replaced the filter area on the A/C unit. They always do fabulous work. I think they are outstanding. The technicians are well trained, quiet, courteous and remember your name. They allow you to ask for a specific technician. They are like family now. Whenever there has been an issue, the owner will call and make sure everything is worked out. I would highly recommend them.

The service went very well. Everything was great. They are very clean, fast and professional. The experience was exceptional.

The repairman was right on time, and was very courteous. He was dressed neatly, looked clean, and used booties inside of the house. I gave him a general rundown of the problems we were having, and he started with the slipping filter issue in the basement. He opened up the furnace and quickly identified the problem. The ledge that holds the air filter was too narrow and if the filter wasn't placed exactly right, it would fall down into the bottom of the furnace. He went to his truck, grabbed some sheet metal, and added some to the ledge so that it was wide enough to keep the filter in place. He also flushed the system and explained the maintenance service that they offer. Our other issue was a bit more challenging. I explained that the A/C in one of the upstairs bedrooms wasn't flowing properly. He explained that it's often the case with 2nd level rooms. The system just isn't strong enough to flow strongly in every room. He suggested closing off the vents a little in the other rooms. But that was before he actually went to the room. He felt for air and felt absolutely nothing. That really surprised him because he thought that I just meant that there wasn't enough flow, but I was saying that there wasn't any flow. Getting the vents off is not easy on that floor, so he started investigating on the other floors. He took some measurements so that he would know where the pipes were in the basement. When he moved insulation in the basement, he could clearly see that the pipe leading to that bedroom wasn't connected to anything at all. He could feel the air coming out of it. He had to leave for a bit to get the right size pipe, but it was a pretty quick fix when he got back. The A/C works perfectly now. I will say that I had to push him a bit to keep looking for the problem because I just wasn't satisfied by the idea that it was just a limitation of our system. But he was receptive to my questioning, and once he started looking more, he was committed to finding the real problem. I'm not sure I love the way they do their pricing, but maybe it works out better. They have tiered pricing, so it's one rate for the first level, and then another rate for a higher level. I guess this works well if you have a job that ends up taking a long time but is still a level one. The first job he did for us was a level one and the second was a level two. So each level has its own price, and our total was around $500. I needed to get things fixed that day because we had company coming to stay in that bedroom a few days later. I signed something saying that it was my choice to have the repair done that day. If that hadn't been the case, I would've looked around at other prices to make sure that we were getting a good price. I still have nothing to compare this to which is why I rated their prices as fair. So overall, things went very well. The repairman couldn't have been nicer or more professional, and everything that needed to be fixed was fixed.

Prompt service. Extremely professional serviceman. Took the time to look over the entire system thoroughly, and explain everything to me in detail. Went over cost breakdown with options, prior to performing any work. I was very pleased with everything! Would definitely use them again, and recommend them to others!

The company is to be commended for very prompt and professional service. Additionally, their sales representative is a very effective communicator and answered all of our questions with great detail. The whole crew arrived promptly on the morning of the job. Everyone was considerate, neatly dressed, and careful during the job. Drop clothes and protective floor coverings were placed, shoe covers were worn and the tiniest amount of debris was cleaned up afterwards.

The repair person came on time. (There were also several phone calls to confirm date/time for the service.) He was very professional. My air conditioning unit hadn't been serviced in quite a while and got a thorough cleaning. During the inspection, we discovered that a system fan which was set on automatic was running continuously. The repair person contacted the service owner who (at my request) placed an order for the replacement part.
