It went well. Checked the equipment in the attic and then the outside unit.

It was good. They were on time, they did what I asked and they did a good job.

The appointment went very well and a 20-point check-up service was provided, as advertised. The technician,Tyler, arrived on time. I was given a two-hour window and received a call when he was enroute - well within the two-hour window. He wore protective overshoes when he entered the house, explained what he would do and went about his business. He obviously knew what he was doing, gave excellent explanations of his work and made recommendations for things that could improve the performance of our aging central a/c unit. I was impressed with the technician's knowledge, training and thoroughness. The company has service contract plans which they obviously encourage consumers to subscribe to, and for good reason, considering the cost of a/c repairs. Tyler thoroughly explained each level of contract. Overall, the service call was well worth the price of the "big deal" and I would use this company again for any HVAC service.

All tasks were clearly explained. The tasks were completed cleanly and efficiently.

Technician was extremely professional. He was on time. After checking the system and diagnosing the problem, he told me what needed to be done and the cost before he did it. We had been having problems with our heat staying on for over a year. He had it fixed in about one hour and we haven't had any problems since then.

Ryan was very prompt and friendly, he was very attentive to my worries about the reason I called. He fixed the problems I had with my unit very quickly. I signed up for the maintenance plan and he explained it to me very thoroughly and did not leave until I didn't have any more questions. I would recommend this company to anyone. .

We purchased a tune up for our HVAC system. The company emailed almost immediately and then called to arrange the appointment. The technician was right on time and very nice. He did the tune up and cleared a drain that was clogged which solved the problem without charging us anything extra! We were very pleased and would definitely use them again. Great job!

Called up One Hour at 7pm on a Sunday stating that my furnace was blowing cold air. They called back in 15 minutes and dispatched a technician within the hour. When he arrived he ran a basic diagnostic and informed me that it would be another $200 to run a level 4 diagnostic and received my approval. After he ran that diagnostic he told a part was back and gave me an approximate cost including an extra cost to have the part ran out to my location since he didn't have it on the truck and again received approval. In the meantime he rigged the system so it would start putting out heat and monitored it until the part showed up. The whole time he was very friendly and professional. The work performed was very good and the work area was cleaned as well. All in all it was a good experience. I wasn't wild about the price since not only was I paying for an after hours call, but also little fees here and there for things like getting the part out to me because it wasn't on the truck. That being said, all costs were explained to me up front and asked for my approval before they were incurred, so I can't really complain about it too much. I just felt there were a lot of "extras" even for an after hours call. I would use them again as the service was good and professional.

Great Service, highly recommended. They called me the night before to confirm the time. The day of the service they called to let me know the tech was finishing up at another place and would be coming to my place and was that ok. Jim showed up about 30 minutes later. He identified him self. Asked if it was ok to park in the driveway. He put covers over his shoes to keep from tracking water in the house (it was raining). Each time he went out he took them off and put them on when coming back in. Service took about an hour. Afterwards Jim reviewed what he found...nothing...everything was great. I would highly recommend One Hour Heating & Air, Central PA to anyone.

A little bumpy with scheduling - I didn't enter preferable dates and got a message one evening that they were coming the next morning.....I went ahead with it but couldn't be there the whole time....no problem but could use improvement.

They were punctual and with a reminder call. Were very clean and polite. Was not high pressure about signing a service contract. Was very pleasant and respectable.

He explained everything to me. He was very nice and he outlined everything that needed to be done. He was very knowledgeable and clean.

They were wonderful. It was cold out and we did not have heat. I called the number and spoke with someone who took the info and then dispatch called me within a few minutes. They even offered that if I wanted to wait until monday, I could save some money on the service call fee. I couldn't wait but appreciated greatly that they mentioned that. The company explained that the trucks are loaded with parts,and that it was guaranteed that thy would leave the house with the problem fixed. They also don't charge for time spent, just the level of service needed. One flat fee. The man covered his shoes with booties when he came into the house, and was fast, polite, and efficient. He explained what was wrong, and was done quickly. He also Did not do a thing until I approved the work, and it was all explained. I have a home warranty service that should have been there to help me with this problem. My service with American home shield did NOT feel that no heat in a cold old house with snow on the way was an emergency. AHS said it would be a 48 hrs until I was just scheduled, and they couldn't tell me what was considered an emergency. I am so thankful for the great and efficient service with one hour heating. They have a warranty plan that I will be switching to after my experience with them.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they are good. They are very professional and are excellent. One service person came out, they cleaned up after themselves and wore the little boots into my house. I chose them because they have a very good reputation in my area and I liked the Big Deal. They are good at their jobs and arrive on time. They put in a furnace for us and we have a maintenance contract with them so the most recent service did not cost anything.

It went well. He let me know what was wrong with it. He suggested what we do and when to do it. He also provided me an estimate. He also let me know we should do an annual service for the A/C and one annual service for the heater. He also let me know we need to refill the coolant.

After an unsatisfactory experience with UGI, I decided to use Angie?s list to find an alternative to replace our furnace and air conditioner which led me to Roher?s One Hour. Aaron Buckwalter came to our home to discuss our needs. He was outstanding in every way, and as a result, Roher?s moved to the top of my list. His proposal gave us a range of equipment options to choose from. I intended to wait until after the cooling season to have the new equipment installed. When the air conditioner failed, I called Aaron and he arranged to have the work done the next day including duct cleaning! The installation crew and Install Manager Matt Sawadsky arrived at 9:00 AM. The lead installer was Mike Greiner assisted by Chris Gehman, Kyle Greiner, and Seth Goshert. Aaron arrived shortly thereafter to make sure everything was on track and to review our expectations of the project. Matt also discussed aspects of the project with Aaron and me and he stopped by a time or two during the day. The crew was professional and friendly and a pleasure to have in our home. By 5:00 PM, they had completed all the work and we were enjoying the air conditioning. I have had many years of personal and professional experience with service providers and Roher?s One Hour performed at the highest level. We will be moving our service contract to them. They will be our choice going forward and our recommendation to others.

We were very happy with them. It did seem like a really well-run company. They were very efficient. They were able to come out and install the unit much faster than anybody else was able to do it.

Overall experience was excellent. Quality of work was exceptional. Professionalism and technical knowledge were top notch .Work was completed very efficiently and with minimal disruption. They were extremely courteous and punctual.

I was already angry over paying way too much to replace a $50 condensate pump less than a year ago with this company, a replacement that required the technician to remove 4 screws, put the new pump in place and reconnect the drainage tube. That work took all of 10 minutes including diagnosing the problem. Then when I called this spring to schedule my yearly service I had already paid for in July of last year, first I was told there would be a charge. Then when I explained I had already paid for this, I was told my record showed I'd already received 2 yearly service calls. The girl I spoke to had to check with someone and call me back. No one seemed to know if I had originally paid for two yearly services or one, and they thought I had already had service. This is probably because after I paid for the condensate pump repair in 2012, I received several phone calls for two weeks trying to schedule a yearly service. I kept telling them I didn't need service now but wanted it in the spring of 2013. Now in 2013, they thought I'd already had the yearly service I had prepaid for. I called the office a few days later to try again to schedule the yearly service, as I never heard back from them. This time the woman I spoke with got an answer for me relatively quickly (she still had to look through the record and call me back, but at least she did this quickly). Then when she called back, I was told there were no appointments until the end of June (it was March when I first called). So much for being put at the front of the line for service, which was supposed to happen with this yearly plan. When the serviceman came out, he brought paperwork that showed he was supposed to bill me for the service, even though I had already paid for this and told them this! He had to go out to his car to call them and check it before he would service my unit. And after this, this company had the nerve to have him give me a new contract he was supposed to have me pay for and sign up for another year of service! The service itself went ok- I think. I was told everything was fine with my electric heat pump, and it didn't need Freon or anything. The service went very quickly, and the technician was polite. 3 weeks later, my AC started blowing hot air out the vents, and cold air out the top of the outdoor unit. I called to ask them to come out, as I thought this could mean the Freon wasn't at the right level or adjusted right. I was told I would have to pay for a service call (so much for the assurances I received that all of their work was guaranteed). I asked for a manager, and he told me that they only guarantee repair work or install work, and not any yearly service work they do. They wanted $79 just to come out, and the manager told me this was a special deal he was giving me instead of the $99 rate. I called another company instead who came out for less as their regular rate. In summary, I would never use this company again for anything, as they are more expensive by far than just about anyone else out there, and they don't stand behind their services.

They did an outstanding job and we were totally satisfied.
