Technician, Aaron Goshert, was knowledgeable and courteous. He explained to me every step in his checklist at the time of the inspection. Actually, I never encounter such thoroughly performed inspection from any technician. I would recommend this service to anyone.

One Hour's technician was very helpful. He performed and inspection and we hired One Hour to clean, but it turned out unnecessary. We ordered service for the heater and air conditioner after our first winter in this home. Seemed routine. However, the technician showed me with an IPad camera that the heater drum had rusted through and was likely causing carbon monoxide to leak into our house. He sprayed water through the holes, so I could see that it was the case. He gently asked if anyone was having headaches or neck aching. In fact, yes, both my son and I were having unexplained pain.

Rohr's One Hour Hating and Air scheduled me the same afternoon I called. The compressors on two of my heat pumps were starting intermittently. Technician, Dave Landis, installed hard start kits on the two aging heat pumps. Dave was punctual, knowledgeable, listened to the troubleshooting I had already done, and efficient. I used the $29.00 Angie's List offer for the service visit fee and 30 minutes of diagnostic time. Each hard start kit was $202 dollars. I did some searching online after the fact and there might have been significant markup on these parts but it's hard to tell. He also had two parts on his truck and installed them in less than 20 minutes. Ultimately, a good value I think.

I have used Rohrer's in the past,but when I got a new system through Costco (cheaper) I was stuck with their maintenance for a time. As soon as I could, I changed back to Rohrer's. Their technicians are well trained, extremely courteous, clean up after themselves, wear shoe covers in the house, make sure I have absolutely no questions (but can call the office if I think of anything) and are always punctual. I also feel they are honest in their estimates and do not try to "upsell" you to something you don't need. They are not the cheapest, but when it comes to service, I think you get what you pay for.

I was very satisfied with the service provided. I received same day service and the technician was at my home within two hours. I purchased a big deal so I received the service at a fraction of the cost.

Technician was competent however came across abrupt and rude. Company did respond promptly.

The employee was very professional and on time. They tried to sell me a service contract which I feel was overpriced. Their prices in general seemed high but also remember you get what you pay for.

The technician checked the central air system inside the house and gave a thorough explanation of what he was doing. He also checked the ac unit on the outside of the house. He shared his findings and recommendations. I know it was in the middle of summer but I wish they had more available dates.

I got them from Angie's List and absolutely hated them. I had called them to setup the appointment and they told me they had the service agreement. That if you bought it and paid $30 a month, the first call that I had for that agreement would be free. I said, "Okay". So he came out, he was a very nice man and I told him what the problems were. He went out and did a pressure check on my air conditioner and walked in and said the pressure was fine. My problem was they were not very honest about the pricing.

Very well. i got a same day appointment. Serviceman was on time, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. He fully explained the problem and the recommended solution.

Service Tech came out and did a diagnosis of HVAC system. He determined that the system was low and recommended a fill up service. Service was performed quickly and efficiently.

It turned fine. Scheduling was excellent. The technician was very knowledgeable.

After I purchased this Big Deal through Angie's List the company emailed me to set up an appointment. Nate was very patient and accommodating in working around my schedule. He never seemed annoyed when I couldn't make a date and time he suggested. Aaron G was the technician who came to the house to check the AC which is about 20 years old. He was here on time and he was friendly but professional. He even covered his shoes when he came in the house and took a minute to greet my dog. He asked me if I was having any trouble with the system and I mentioned that one room did not seem to get very cool He started in the crawl space above the bedrooms where all the duct work is and didn't find any problem. Then we went outside to the unit. He connected some cables to it to check the readings and he explained everything to me as he did it. The system only need some refrigerant and he said that would make the house a little cooler. Everything else was fine. He also recommended that I leave more space between the mulch and the unit so nothing got blocked and the air would circulate. I am very happy with the company and would call them again if I had a problem..

This went pretty well. I was in a need of air conditioning. They had to fill the Freon because they said it was leaking. I would have preferred if they found the leak and fixed it, rather than just filling it. They just guessed it had a leak but never found where the leak was, however they were early and the technicians were professional and friendly.

The technician was awesome - very professional, knowledgable, very tidy and thorough. Excellent customer service attitude.

Scott was knowledgeable and professional when he enter our home, He answered all our questions and gave us advise for future problems that may occur. I would have no problem letting him in our home again, to service or replace our unit if necessary

It turned out fine. They were prompt and they did what we asked them to do. They didn’t try to sell us other things and were very courteous about it. They were respectful about our concerns and they listened to us.

They did a thorough check of the central air system for my house. They did not tune up the system because it does need to be replaced but they went over the costs and I decided not to have the work done as of now.

Arrived on-time, was professional (appreciated him wearing covers over his shoes both times he came into the house) gave me some good advise about how to maintain the system going forward. No high-pressure sales techniques, which was a welcome change from vendors I've used in the past.

This was our intro to One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning. Friends of ours used this company and had a very good experience. We joined Angie's list to research this company and others. Because of our friends' good experience, the good reviews on Angie's List and the company's special deal, we tried them--for our annual systems check up. The appointment was confirmed via email; the scheduler asked for basic systems information upfront--I suppose for advance preparation by the technician. I thought this was a great thing; the technician arrived on-time and knew exactly what kind of filter, etc. to bring along. He was courteous, clean (wore booties) and professional throughout. At the end, he explained exactly what he did, reviewed the checklist, and told us about the company's maintenance plans. One week later, I signed up for the annual maintenance plan, along with annual plans for plumbing and electrical (all offered by Scott Rohrer, who owns the franchises and provides the services. My only issue was with the company they affiliated with to administer the maintenance plans (Direct Energy). Direct Energy fulfills that function through a telemarketing/teleservices center and it was clear that the tele-reps are focused on transactions, not on service. The woman I spoke with could not answer basic questions about the plans or contract terms without putting me on hold to get answers from a manager. Not cool. In the end, I called One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning's local number and got my questions answered and everything taken care of within five minutes. Plus, the local people are friendly, knowledgeable and very customer-oriented. I highly recommend this company and its sister companies for anyone living in the Lancaster (PA) area.
