ACER APPLIANCE INC

They scheduled 5 service repair visits and the temperature of the freezer was higher when they left than when I first called them. They guessed each time what the problem was - eventually replaced the Freon and the compressor, and then guessed that the dryer needed to be replaced. They never came when they said and were completely unbriefed on what had taken place prior. The dispatching office was equally clueless. We are now demanding a refund of the fees paid to date.

They replaced 2 computer boards over 4 visits. The issue still remains. From 1/1/07 to 1/9/07, I have confirmed 4 different appts., not a single one of which has been kept. I am frustrated.

At first he said he couldn't do anything because he couldn't find anything wrong. He said I would have to call a plumber to check the water line coming into the house. However, the cold water was coming in fine other places. He poked at it with his screwdriver and changed a washer on the hose and it worked fine. They were supposed to have a coupon and a senior discount. He said they wouldn't honor the coupon because he didn't replace any parts. He only took $5 off for the senior discount.

I was smelling gas from the grill so they came to take a look at it. After 2 trips they ordered a manifold which came in after 6 weeks had passed and they installed it. They say it is now missing another part and they have to order that. The grill now doesn't work.

THE SERVICE MAN WAS POLITE AND RESPECTFUL, BUT I WAS FURIOUS AT THE PRICE OF SERVICE. (NO PARTS WERE BOUGHT. NO ONE TOLD ME THE BASIC COST OF APPEARANCE OF A SERVICE MAN). I DID NOT GET ANY SATISFACTION FROM MANAGEMENT!
