Gallagher's plumbing was great, returned phone calls and setup an appointment promptly. They were on time for the job, neat doing the work, careful doing the work and cleaned up very well around the job site. The job was done quickly and very well. I was very pleased with the job and would use them in the future.

This is a unique situation. My husband and I are buying a house. We had the Home Inspection done, resulting in a few plumbing issues that needed to be addressed by a licensed plumber. The sellers agreed to us finding the contractors and getting their estimates. We turned to Angie's list. I contacted three plumber, two of the three replied. Mr. Gallagher was the only one that was able to meet our realtor at the property to evaluate the HI items. After his evaluation he made is recommendation in his written proposal. From there the sellers agreed to Mr. Gallagher's proposal. I contacted Mr. Gallagher and he stated what his availability was and when he expected to get the job done. He and I had an open line of communication, he let me know when he completed the job and how it went. I saw the evidence of his work and it appeared to have been done very well. Even my 11yr old noticed the water pressure was diffent at the kitchen sink; of which was the major plumbing issue. Mind you she was unaware of the all that had transpired. I would hire and recommend Mr. Gallagher again, as a well as, recommend him to my friends and family.

They were timely. They explained the repairs well. They provided a timely quote. The staff was professional and helpful. They cleaned up after themselves.

Installed new gas water heater and did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend him.

Wednesday evening, I called and left a voicemail. Michael Gallagher returned my call at 8am the next morning and offered to do the repair at 2pm. He and a crew member arrived at 1:45pm. They were at the house before I could get there, but I'd called to let them know I was on my way, and that the garage was open and they could get started. By the time I arrived, they'd identified the location of the split and were removing the damaged pipe and bib. They answered my questions about how to prevent future problems (this pipe has ruptured once before) and finished the job inside of 30 minutes. Wish I had called sooner.

After doing a search on Angie's list, we called Gallagher Plumbing and 2 other local plumbers for quotes on replacing an outdoor frost-free faucet. We got a call back from Gallagher within 36 hours. They were very straight forward with the quote, which was lower than the other 2 quotes we received. Based on the quote, Angie's list reviews, and the fact that they could come out to fix our problem in less than a week, we scheduled an appointment with them. They arrived at our house exactly when they said they would, were very friendly, careful not to dirty our home (it had rained that morning so they put a floor cover on the ground since they were going in and out of the house), professional, and fixed our faucets in a timely manner. In addition, the day before they arrived we noticed a problem with another outdoor faucet so we mentioned this to them while they were at our house. They fixed that faucet as well at a very fair price. We will definitely call Gallagher if/when we have plumbing issues in the future. They definitely deserve the positive reviews they get.

Mike and his crew replaced old water shut off valve that leaked and also a faucet/valve outside. Quality of work, responsiveness to original phone call and price - all excellent. Glad we found Mike's business here on AL and will definitely use them for any future needs.

Professional, quality work at a reasonable price. Provides options to fit your budget and never tries to oversell you on more expensive items. Knowledgeable about his profession. Friendly and competent. Careful about keeping work area clean. I won't use anyone else. He is always booked but makes every effort to stop by if you are having a problem.

We had been experiencing issues with noisy water pipes -for a number of months... had the water heater replaced, tried clearing the water line of air, replaced the toilet valves -- nothing was helping. We had mentioned the issue to a prior plumber but it did not get solved. Had the member ship for Angie's list but had not used it-- so gave it a try. Looked for plumbers in our area - there were quite a few but Mike Gallagher just seemed to stand out, his A rating and the variety of issue he solved, indicated he was very knowledgeable and professional. Gave Mike a call he answered promptly, was very personal on the phone, came out -- fixed our issue in short order installing a new water pressure valve, looked at and replaced some of the toilet valves and a very fair price--ahhhhhh... all is quiet now an in perfect working order. If you are like us and know nothing about plumbing .we highly recommend using Mike Gallagher..

Our garbage disposal started leaking water everywhere. Called Mike, based on an Angie's list review, and he fit us in right away. He came promptly, called before his arrival to confirm an exact time, and worked neatly and efficiently (and quietly, as my two children were napping). He came in under his quoted price and the new garbage disposal has been running smoothly ever since. It could not have been an easier experience. I would definitely use him again.

Mr. Gallagher showed up at the expected time and immediately started to work on the vanity. He removed the old vanity and began installing an extremely modern, difficult to install vanity that had a faucet and two bowls on the vanity. The vanity came with no instructions but Mr. Gallagher nevertheless installed the new vanity in less than two hours. He was friendly, courteous and very helpful. Upon completion of the work, he cleaned the entire area and disposed of the old vanity, cardboard and Styrofoam. I would highly recommend Gallagher Plumbing

I noticed that my hot water heater had a large puddle of rusty water under it. I called Mike the next morning at 9 am, and he was at my house by 1230 with a new hot water heater. Installed it professionally and quickly. I can not believe I had a new hot water heater installed within five hours of calling Mike. He is our "plumbing guy" now. I called Gallagher Plumbing ... got directly in touch with Mike Gallagher as he left his cell phone number on their answering machine ... better yet - he answered his cell phone ... we got lucky as they just had a cancellation ... Mike was at our house in about a half hour ... installed the toilet in about an hour ... Mike is very professional and personable ... been in the business for 30 years ... unbelievable! ... how good is that!?!!?

We called Mike a few times during the years whenever we had any problems in our home and reached out to him again when it was time to replace our 75 gallon water heater this summer. He suggested we also get an expansion tank to help regulate water pressure and a pan on bottom. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a fair price. The new water heater was installed without any issues. In all my interactions with Mike over the years, he has been very professional and honest. Recently, we called him because one of our toilets was making a lot of noise. Based on what we told him over the phone, he determined that we just needed to replace the flapper, which he reassured was an easy fix that we can handle ourselves. It worked.

Went extremely well. Quoted price was within $10.00 of actual price and he and his assistant were very professional and efficient. They were done in 2 hours and with minimal disruption. They removed the olh heater and left no marks or issues on walls or floor.

Use him again and recommend him.Mike was early due to a cancellation. He called first to make sure it was OK. Very nice to work with. He replaced a 20 year old sump pump that was still working but I wanted to replace it now so that I wouldn't be caught without in a storm. We discussed the pros and cons on backup systems ( battery vs water) and he was very knowledgeable. We decided to put the backups on hold for now.

The entire experience was exceptional and the pricing was very competitive. Mike arrived when promised and completed the work quickly and professionally . The problem was resolved, and we were able to begin repairs to the kitchen. On Mike's advice steps were taken to insure no further leakage.

Arrived on time (actually a bit early), got right to the job, cleaned up and took away old water heater. Good service and good installation. Both Mike and his assistant Kirby were friendly and easy to talk to.
