Tim was very polite, prompt, professional. Work was completed in a very timely manner. I would use his services again in a heartbeat.

It went fine the first time that we used them but we tried calling them for the second time and they never called back. The man who came out when we used them was very prompt. He came right out and he did the job on my schedule. We just moved here so I do not know if the pricing was good, bad or indifferent because I do not have anything to compare it to. I thought that it was good but my perception may be way off the basic. The quality of their work, their punctuality and professionalism were good.

I got home from vacation on a Saturday night and my floor drains in my basement overflowed. I talked to Tim at Darnley's on Saturday night around 9:30 and he was at my house on Sunday around noon. He was very helpful and explained everything that he was doing. He snaked the main drain line, but the cutter was getting caught up in the pipe. I wanted to have peace of mind, so I had Tim come back on Tuesday to do a full camera inspection of the pipes both inside and outside. Tim was great and if I have any plumbing problems in the future, he will be the first person I call.

Darnley, the plumber has done a couple of things for us and we love him a lot. He finished a job about 50 miles away from our house and then came here at night because we were having some problems with our water heater. He definitely comes if he says that he is coming. I never pressurize him unless there is some serious problem, but he is more than willing to fit you in and he is a really nice guy. He looked at the water heater and it turned out that it was a reset button that had to be fixed, as the hot water started again once he fixed it. However, he checked the whole thing out and he was here for an hour or an hour and a half. He wanted only $50 which I thought was more than reasonable considering the amount of time that he was here. He is also a sort of person who wouldn't try to sell you anything that's not needed and we like this behavior of his a lot. He has done a big well job for us. We have a well where there was a leakage of methane gas along with water. He took care of it about a month ago and that turned out very well. As a matter of fact, nobody else knew as to what we were talking about. However, he figured out the problem and fixed it for us. We got some old well guys who have been drilling wells for about many years here. He sort of thought that venting would be the right solution, but he couldn't figure out as to how to install the vent in the most useful way. He finally figured it out and fixed the problem. I can't say enough about him. I don't know if any of the plumbers even know as to how to vent a well, especially the city plumbers, as they work with city or pipe water. I even don't know if anybody else would be able to do this. My husband and I felt that the price charged by him was worth it. I am going to hire him again in the future because we are facing another plumbing problem. We discovered recently that we had lost water on the second floor and we weren't sure as to why that was happening. We were turning the valves off and we probably might have turned the wrong valve off. We wanted the water off outside so that we wouldn't freeze. So, we have to call him back to figure out the right valve. It won't be a big or an expensive job, but I am sure that he will come in a timely fashion. If I call him in the afternoon, then he might stop at night again. We really rely on him.
