Excellent. He replied to my phone call, showed up on time and was a steady worker.

Domenic took care of EVERYTHING, and a lot faster than expected. The materials arrived on Wednesday, and we were quoted about 2 weeks to get the entire project completed. Imagine my surprise when I came back the next Monday to see the only thing left was part of the loft and the stairs. During the next two days, both Domenic and his worker Eric were here answering any questions I had from the legitimate one's like "I'm interested in doing X, what's a good way to get that done?" to the dumb one's like "where is the light switch to this stupid light?" (note: the light was burnt out - not one of my prouder moments). There was another instance when Domenic, the cable guy, and the heating guys were all here at the same time, and I've got everyone asking me questions/telling me bad news all at the same time. It was obvious I was getting flustered, as I'm running around going "wait, what?" and shaking my head constantly with that confused deer in headlights look. He pulled me aside, helped to calm me down so I wasn't going insane anymore, and get to a point where I could actually keep everything straight and not ask them to repeat everything three times. Since he's finished, we've had several people over who have seen the before and now the after and cannot BELIEVE they're in the same house. The house is coming along beautifully, with one of the major projects being taken care of a week earlier than expected. Being new to the area, we have no clue where the best places are to get work done. We found his information online and figured it would be worth a shot, especially since he's relatively close to our location. Knowing that we were new to the area, he went about making sure we know fastest routes to certain places, locations of the necessities (groceries, home depot, best buy, etc), and good places to get food and/or a drink. He was more than we could have asked for from a service man who had full access to our entire house without supervision. Without hesitation, if there's another project that needs to be completed and I know that my (lack of) skills will not be able to complete the task, he will not be the first person that we call - he will be the only person that we'll call.

I found Domenic to be very creative, with exceptional attention to detail. 4 x 4's at bottom of steps are pressure treated lumber...not the best looking wood even when painted. We had discussed using pressure treated (more durable) or going with original untreated 4 x 4's (which decay over time). Domenic convinced me to go with pressure treated....said he would make them look good... he spent a considerable amount of time sanding them smooth. Before buying new untreated handrail that would match rails on front porch, he said he would like to try and form them out of pressure treated wood...and he was successful. I could go on & on with all the little touches Domenic added to do the job RIGHT!!!! Before Domenic began the job... the pavers and front steps were a disaster area....now it is absolutely beautiful....I never thought 2 small changes could make such a big difference.

great! came to work when started. no hidden surpirises regarding price. estimate was lower than others. friendly and cooperative. highly recommended! would definitely call again for repeat work!

The Home Improver came to the home to review what needed to be done. He quickly researched and acquire low cost pricing on fill and top soil and become to work on the job. With a few days he flattend the area and began moving towards the fence. He was able to shop around and find a nice viynl fenece that met our needs and budget. He worked within the setbacks provided by my local community and within 1 1/2 weeks he had the fence completed. We now have guess over and they are amazed at the transformation performed by The Home Improver. The Home Improver provide a quality product at a very reasonable price.

The first day of the job, I knew things had potential to go well, as The Home Improver actually showed up as scheduled. Dominic was professional, polite and efficient. He even handled the unceasing questions of my 3 year old, which is above and beyond the call of duty. Besides coming in well within the range of the 4 estimates I received, The Home Improver did many jobs that other ?painters? wouldn?t touch. Initially, I was grateful when he readjusted his work schedule to accommodate my family. Dominic saved messy ceiling sanding for a day we would not be home to breathe the nasty particles. When we returned, there was no evidence of said sanding; except a gorgeous ceiling with no dry wall seams. The paint job is beautiful, and I appreciated not just his skill, but his artistry with colors, spaces and textures. He listened to my needs, and offered sugestions which both saved money and contributed to the beauty of the property. When renters were looking through the finished product, they commented several times on the great colors, which were The Improver?s suggestions. Additionally, other little and big projects revealed themselves as the refurbishing continued. Dominic handled these without flinching. Whether it was a stray closet without trim, a door handle replacement, a rickety deck, or even a dangerous bee hive, it was all taken care of without me having to make another call. He even was able to help by moving heavy objects on moving day, and pack them in a seemingly way too small space. Have you ever seen the guy that fits into a bread box? It was like that with my furniture in the Pod. I cannot overestimate the peace of mind in knowing that The Home Improver could handle the whole job. Overall, I was impressed with the professional and joyful attitude with which the job was completed. I highly recommend The Home Improver for your next project, big or small.
