We called Dale Rimmer for an estimate on replacing our gutters. We received a call back the next day. We were not given a firm appointment but told someone would come to our house within the next few days and they would call ahead before they come. More than a week later we hadn't heard from them so we placed a second call and left a message requesting an appointment. It's been a week and we never received a return call. I would expect a contractor to be more enthusiastic about getting new business. We've received prompt attention from several other vendors that have provided estimates within a few days of our inquiry. I can't comment on the quality of Dale Rimmer's work, but I would not use this company based on their lack of responsiveness and reliability in simply making an appointment. It could be indicative of their overall reliability and how they treat customers in general.

I thought their quality was good; they had good quality. I would recommend them to another member. The quality of their work was good, very good. Dale was extra attentive. I appreciated his willingness to pay attention to detail and complete the job. Their price was competitive. I would use them again in the future.

I felt comfortable about leaving them at my house and letting them use my restroom. They were trustworthy. Their price was good. At the beginning, they didn't get back to me as quick as I would expect.

Dale provided numerous samples to choose from to replace the siding, shutters, gutters, and downspouts. The price quoted was less than that of a competitor's with the addition that Dale's siding was insulated. Since we had problems with the continuing bad weather, he kept me informed of delays.The workers performed in an effecient and professional manner, answering all of my questions. Dale also coordinated with an electrician to move wires to present a more appealing look. The result was a beautiful looking exterior.

I have known Dale for many years. He is active in my community and coached both of my son's soccer teams. He was wonderful with my boys, teaching teamwork and fairness along with soccer skills. When it came time for a new roof and siding, I checked out several companies, including Dale Rimmer Siding for both ideas and price. Most other companies offer the "big" names in siding. However, with these big names come big prices. Dale does not succumb to the big brands advertisements. He thoroughly researches what he sells and offers the best products at the best price. Dale's estimate was in the same ball park as the other companies i investigated. However, what he brought to the table that the others lacked was a personal commitment to get the job done right. His estimate included a lot of nice touches that the other estimates lacked--such as color-coordinated replacement vents and color-coordinated gutters. These are things that made the job look totally awesome. While waiting for a slot in his schedule, it was sometimes difficult to get in touch with Dale. However, he was focused on the job he had in the works. Patience on my part paid off with a wonderful job. When it was "my turn" and his crew was working on my house, I was able to reach Dale when I needed him and he was very responsive to me. Dale personally practices the same values in his business that he reinforced in my boys--honesty and fairness will produce a quality product. Dale treats his staff as he treated his soccer charges. He sells quality products and has a skilled crew to install those products. He offers truly personal service.

He's very responsive. He's very reputable and I highly recommend him.

He discussed the pros and cons of various types of gutter guards so that we could choose an option that would work best for our situation. The work was done within days of the final estimate, the old gutters were taken away and the entire area around the house was picked up. They look great and have been working fine through the recent rains.

Dale was referred by a contractor that did some stone work for us. Dale came over, provided an estimate and we agreed to have the work done. Dale and his crew did a fantastic job and the house looks terrific. Thye spent the better part of a week completing the job. Recommended some upgrades which I agreed to and even disposed of a large hornets nest in my bushes that could have created a problem for my grandchildren. I'm very satisfied with the work and have asked Dale for a roofing estimate as a result.

Dale and his team were very professional. He provided quality workmanship that was neat, clean and done expeditiously. We obtained four quotes and Dale was the only contractor whose initial estimate was fair and honest. The others gave estimates and then said they would lower the price once we informed them that we had selected someone else. Overall, he did an excellent job and provided us with a stress free experience.

He works on what I call "contractor time", so you may need to be patient, but once the job was started, it went very smoothly.

Despite this being a project smaller in scope compared to most house siding projects, my request for proposal was addressed in a timely and professional manner. In addition to providing an estimate and implementing the siding and roofing project, Dale also recommended someone to assist with other aspects of the project that fell outside of the scope of roofing and siding. The project was completed on time and within budget and the building now looks like new rather than refurbished.

Although we ultimately used another contractor, I would have no hesitation in contacting Mr. Rimmer in the future. He was professional, and took time to answer all my questions including ones about installing insulation. He was familiar with our neighborhood and the types of houses and roofs in it.

It went very well overall. They showed up promptly, and were able to provide me with the information I needed in a timely fashion.

I compared him with other contractors and he was least expensive by ten percent. Good quality work and good clean up.
