The gentlemen that came were very nice and they tried their best, but the system they are using is horrible. The guys were nice and everything, but they can only do so much with the equipment they are given, but the dust in my house was at least not as bad not worse. I have allergies and it did not make it any better. It is worst actually. Sears is horrible for everything. I should not have called them. I should have known better and hired anybody else. I paid close to $200. It was like one price and when they got here they wanted extra money to sanitize and extra money to do this and that. I really felt like after coming into my house and cutting a hole in my vent by my furnace and all the other stuff, now, they were telling me that they needed extra money to do this and that. Since they came in and changed their pricing after they had already took up and everything, their pricing is unclear. Their responsiveness was great. They called right back. They scheduled quickly. Their equipment itself, I think, was the problem. They have lousy equipment. Their punctuality was good.

Am in the middle of a NIGHTMARE with Sears trying to get my refrigerator fixed. It has been broken since Monday. Was initially given appointment for Tuesday morning, then they cancelled that appointment and I was forced to take all morning Wednesday (yesterday) to wait for repair technician. When technician arrived, he was pleasant, but didn't seem to know much about my refrigerator. Was on phone, and it seemed to me that someone else was walking him through diagnostic testing to find source of problem. He told me it was an electrical problem and I'd need a new control panel. He gave me a reasonable price quote and said he'd be ordering a new part. I asked if it could be done quicker and he found a part about 20 minutes from my home and went to get it. At this point, I was fairly happy. He returned with the part, and spent a long time trying to find the location of the part in the fridge. He commented that he'd never had such a hard time finding a control panel, which didn't really inspire confidence, but I hoped for the best. Then he replaced the panel, told me I was all set, I paid him and he left. Hours later, the fridge still was not working. I called Sears back and complained, was passed on to a call center supervisor who was rude to me, and eventually HUNG UP ON ME without resolving my issue. I called back and spoke with another supervisor who apologized and opened a complaint about the rude supervisor. I was given another repair appointment for this morning, which meant cancelling several meetings, again. I was assured that I'd be given priority and a technician would come very early in the 8-12 time window. It's after 10 and I haven't heard from the technician. I called Sears yet again. Was told that the technician would come "around 10:30." I will update after that appointment. Am deeply concerned that we are on a path of trial and error in terms of fixing this appliance and wonder how much time and money I'm expected to devote to this endeavor. I will certainly NEVER be using Sears for anything in the future.

I think it was a bit pricey and they do always try to suggest other services. This time they suggested the fuel system flush which has never been performed on this vehicle with almost 80,000 miles so I allowed the service. They always explain in good detail why recommended. They never add anything without permission. They always ask if agreeable to prices before they begin work; there are no surprises at checkout that way. You always know the price before work begins and can give okay or deny service. Very dependable work--I have never had to complain or take anything back. Although a bit pricey, I can say I have always been happy with the work. I will go back again and I do recommend them.

They were very prompt in coming when I called and told them that it did not work. The only problem was that they took twelve days to get it repaired. They ordered the part and the part got here on the very next day but the person could not come back to put the part in. So, I was without a refrigerator for twelve days. They did not bring in a loaner or anything. It was close to Thanksgiving time. I did not have to pay anything because I had an extended warranty. The repair man was very nice. He told me exactly as to what was wrong. He also told me that he could not come back for twelve days because he was very busy. He put flippers over his shoes when he came in. He was very good. The day that he came to repair I was the first on his list. He was in and out. There was no dilly-dallying around. I would grade them a little lower simply because of the time element. The quality of their work was very good. He was here the very next day. He was punctual.
Description of Work: I used the services of Sears last month. I had my refrigerator repaired. The coil that holds the Freon that makes the things cold had to be replaced.
