Description of Work: I couldn't be more pleased with the work done by Deiter Brothers. Estimator Dave Begley was outstanding, providing the best options for me at the best price. The technicians did a great job with the furnace and AC installation - work was done quickly and everything was cleaned up when they were done. I would highly recommend Deiter Brothers for anyone with heating and/or cooling needs.

Description of Work: They installed a temporary outside propane tank while our condo association was dealing with in-ground propane tank issues. They also checked and verified indoor connections. They were prompt, cordial, and professional.

Description of Work: We purchased and had installed a new heat pump for our first floor. From the initial quote through the installation everyone was professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend Deiter Bros to friends and family.

Description of Work: They did a furnace check and are helping me to figure out a problem with a relatively new furnace which they did not install. The unit shuts down periodically. Description of Work: Did exactly what they said they would do. Prior to my purchase of this home, Deiter Brothers serviced the oil boiler in the home (Sept 2014) and gave it a clean bill of health. I had a problem with the boiler and my home warranty company's contractor stated that a new boiler was required. Intuitively, I did not see that as the problem. I called Dieter Brothers and explained the situation. They stated that since they had done a service in September, they should have caught the problems and said they would come out and check the boiler for no charge. The service technician was prompt. He checked the boiler with me present, went over all the issues that we had addressed since my purchase of the home in October 2014, he confirmed the repairs, and addressed the issue related to the other contractor's determination that we needed a new boiler. My personal reviews of information on the DOE website concerning oil boilers and how they fail indicated the previous contractor was in error. Deiter Brothers confirmed this in detail. The boiler is 16 years old and should be fine for the foreseeable future. I have signed a maintenance contract with Deiter Brothers and will report in the future on Angie's List how well that contract executes. This experience with Deiter Brothers was my key decision point in hiring them for future work by signing the maintenance agreement.

Description of Work: They replaced a propane tank in the back yard. They were quick and professional. When the installation team left, the foreman took an hour making sure all the connections were correct (inside and out), and even took the time to explain to me what they did and what we can do to keep the system running well. I am extremely pleased with Dieter Brothers.

Description of Work: We used Deiter Bros for a number of years for our oil burner maintenance and delivery of oil. We had a service contract and were able to get service weekends, holidays, nights when we had problems. In 2013 we switched to natural gas and have not used them since.

Description of Work: This review is just for my initial contact to set up an appointment. Because I'm in a no heat situation they can send someone out first thing Monday morning. The person who answered the phone patiently answered all my questions and explained the differences between tune up and contract costs and services. Recently, Dieter Brothers is one of the companies I had come to my house to give me an estimate on a new furnace. Their response this morning (and the knowledge and professionalism of the person who came to the house for the estimate) certainly leave me with a good impression toward who I'll select if I do replace the furnace this year.

Description of Work: They did an excellent job installing a new central air unit, inside coil, digital thermostat and related tubing etc. I received a couple of discounts. They were knowledgeable, fast and efficient and reasonably priced. The company is very reliable. I highly recommend them. The cost was about $3200.00 I also had my air ducts cleaned. They did an excellent job with that as well. Before they started, I had about 2 inches of filth and dirty accumulation in the ducts. When they left, the ducts were as clean as a whistle. The cost was about $400.00.

Description of Work: I called to get estimate on new AC system, I left a message and was told they would call back, they never did. However, I do use them for oil service and they do an above average job at that.
