My main contact at Brookside Lumber was Kristine. She was helpful and knowledgeable in the selection of the materials and saw to it that the minor problems in materials was corrected quickly. They were very patient with my ... "do I really want this angle in my countertop?" and even made a revisit with the countertop template. The installation crew was on time, professional, and left things clean and neat. There were several problems with the materials, but all problems were promptly corrected. One of the drawers didn't close correctly, one area of the cabinet wasn't sanded correctly and needed to be replaced, and the trim of the countertop wasn't edged correctly and needed to be replaced. None of the problems were Brookside's fault, but Brookside saw to it that all was made right and met my satisfaction.I'm very satisfied and would most definitely consider Brookside for my next project :)

I shopped around included Brookside because I'd bought my front door and storm door from them a few years ago and I'd had a good experience. This time I had a general idea of the design for the kitchen but I needed to tear out a couple of walls cover a door and install a new sliding glass door first. So I ordered the sliding glass door from their door department. My only complaint is that I was supposed to get a toe lock that was not delivered - and after calling them a couple of times about it, I've still not received that item. But the kitchen design, cabinets and countertop were all fantastic. My contractor installed the cabinets but I chose to have someone via Brookside measure and install the countertop. Andrea was my kitchen cabinet liaison and she was fantastic. Very patient, helpful and I never felt that any detail was too small. The kitchen is in, looks great and I'm really pleased with how it's turned out.

I will use them again in the future.

Purchased a Therma Tru door which is available at many retailers. Researched price and installation through several companies. The cost of product and installation was best at Brookside. Researched installation reputation and this was our first experience with Brookside Lumber. Our door stoop needed to be removed, widened and replaced in order for the door to sit properly. The installer did an excellent job -- meticulous, very professional. I would definitely recommend.

They had a good selection and they had helpful personnel. We have dealt with them before and we have always been satisfied with their merchandise and their service. The price was competitive.

The service was great. They gave us reasonable prices. I did the measurements and told them the size of the door that we needed. They had a good variety.

I spent $900 to $1000 on that work. They were on time and were very punctual. The workers were pretty nice. I would definitely recommend them to other members. Their prices are nice.

Chris and Jerry did excellent work. Came promptly at around 8AM for 2 days this project took to complete. Parts were delivered a week or 2 before the start of construction to allow me time to do pre-paint and stain the items that they recommended. They took great care in measuring and drilling in my new hardwood floors for the newell posts and balasters. They were excellent in keeping the place clean and did a great job in cleaning up after they were done each day. I would hire them and Brookside again in a minute.

Most of the stuff was delivered okay. It took a little while because they had to get it from the supplier. They were not responsible for the supplier that provided the materials. They were accommodating all along and I was pleased with them. They did a good job. I didn't compare apples to apples when I was shopping. They are nice people and I use them all the time.

Out of the customer doors that were sent one door fit properly and we had a little problem with the other because of the way the top was made. We never took it back to them because we never realized the problem until we installed the door. I got help from another place and got that fixed. They were punctual and professional though.

They carry a lot of higher end windows, doors and woodwork. It is not the kind of product you see at a home improvement store. You can get a bigger variety. They subcontract the work and the doors are all still on the house. They are a good company.

Brookside is courteous and professional. They have a good selection and I am looking forward to doing business with them again.

They have been fairly responsive about the problems, but the guy never did go out of this way to call me back. They have average prices and it took awhile to get it ordered. Though the vanity is well made, they are going fix it for me.

We called Brookside and they send out Curtis. He came out and measured and understood what we wanted. Then we went to Brookside to pick out the door. It arrived in about a week and then Curtis came back and installed it. He even hooked up the security system again. This is the place for doors! Curtis is really good.

THERE PRICING IS GREAT, PEOPLE ARE AMAZING. I WAS SO PLEASED WITH THEM.

WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION AND THE COUNTERTOP WAS READY WHEN THEY SAID IT WOULD BE.

WE HAD GOOD SERVICE. HAD NO PROBLEM WITH CABINETS, BUT GETTING THE ORDER AND PAPERWORK IN BY SALESPERSON WAS LENGTHY AND COULD BE IMPROVED.
