Description of Work: I am negligent for not posting this review sooner but I hope if you are considering having work done on your home this spring you will get a bid from Impriano Roofing and Siding. We didn't need a new roof at this time but our house still had the original asbestos siding that was put on in 1960 when the home was built. We needed new windows also as they were original. I read reviews on Angie's list of people who got 6 or 7 bids on their jobs and I admire that but taking the time to get a proper bid from a contractor was a more involved process than I had anticipated. After getting four bids I was exhausted with the process and decided to take a chance on the Impriano family. The first two contractors gave me bids that I considered very high and unreasonable. I just don't know where they came up with their figures. I was pleasantly surprised when Jack Impriano gave me a bid that was reasonable and in the ballpark of what I expected the job to cost. The final bid I got was lower than Impriano's bid but the impression I got was that the company did a lot of work and used subcontractors. They may have done a fine job but I felt safer going with a family firm. Even though I had a good feeling about the Impriano family, who knows? I felt like I was taking a shot in the dark for a lot of money. Well let me tell I lucked out. The work and the crew that did it was beyond my expectations. They were highly skilled and professional. When they started the job there was no fooling around. They got in there worked long hours and hard till the job was done. There were no problems at all. They did extra at every turn for you. I had some delicate work of rebuilding a beam holding up the roof over the patio and replacing the posts that another contractor had turned done as too difficult to do. Watching Impriano's crew handle that job and the quality of the work they did was a real pleasure. I took a chance and used Imprianos and my house looks beautiful today.

Description of Work: Pros: Tore off old roof and replaced shingles with architectural Certainteed shingles. Arrived early in a.m. and worked professionally. Good cleanup and landscape protection as promised by salesman. I found only a few nails after work completed (under 10) Someone came out to reinspect after job completed. Accurate estimate. Responsive to questions and easy to work with when in planning stage. Knowledgeable salesman. Cons: Inspector did not come to door and identify himself before climbing ladder to check the roof. Scared me when I heard noise and saw a ladder but no person around.

Description of Work: When I initiated a call to Impriano Roofing I received a prompt return call and was able to schedule someone 2weeks later for someone to come out and give an estimate. After the gentleman was here and I was given the roof estimate , $2/3 of the estimated cost was due that day in order to put a work order through for the repair to be scheduled I paid the 2/3 and the estimator said someone would be out within the next two weeks to repair the roof. He also said I didn't need to be home for the roof repair and the rest of the cost would be billed to me for payment. Two weeks went by and the roof was not repaired. I had to call Imprianos to inquire when someone would be coming out. When I called the secretary looked into my house repair and then gave me a date the roofer would be coming. It was about a week later he was scheduled . I was home that day and had been returning from errands when I saw the roofing truck parked straight in the middle of my driveway.It was very hard to pull around his truck for me to park. The man never moved the truck so I. old pull around him . He just stood there. He never identified himself, or spoke to me about the work he intended to do. He was here less than two hours and was smoking cigarettes the whole time and smoked while he was on the roof. A few days went by and I didn't receive a bill , instead Imprianos started to call my home several times a day requesting the rest of their payment. My husband payed the bill two weeks after the job was finished , but Imprianos kept calling for payment.

Description of Work: I had to replace the roof on our main house and an addition built about 15 years ago. Long story short, the addition roof was never installed correctly and it caused significant water damage in the house. This was a big job, the main house roof had to have two layers of singles and cedar lathe removed and where the main and addition roofs joined had to be completely rebuilt / engineered. I got estimates from contractors for as high as $18,000. Impriano not only came in as one of the lowest estimates, but their estimate clearly identified all the work that would be done (type of shingle, number of nails per shingle, etc). The roofers were amazing. They did a fantastic job, left the site cleaner then when they started and addressed any questions or concerns I had. The owner, Jack Impranio clearly instills a high level of professionalism and work ethic in his team. Even office assistants returned calls promptly and gave me advance notice when materials would be delivered, work completion progress etc. I can honestly say this has been the VERY best contracting experience I have had in 20 years of home ownership.

Description of Work: Jack came out. Was on time. Polite. Very professional. I decided to go with a lower estimate. Overall they were polite, prompt, answered my questions. I had no complaints at all. In this economy I had to go with a lower estimate.

Description of Work: We contacted Impriano R&S to get an estimate for a new roof as well as having our skylights replaced. We visited their showroom, the salesperson was very nice and professional and we would have used them had we not received an estimate which was considerably less from another company. Impriano's price was too high even considering the $500 coupon. I imagine overhead doesn't allow them to compete with all contractors. If price isn't as much a concern for someone, they are probably a good company to use.

Description of Work: In the course of getting painting done to a third floor bedroom, we discovered a leak in the ceiling. It wasn't clear if the leak was coming from the roof or from somewhere else. A rep from Impriano was the first roofer that came to our house. He was very pleasant and professional. He went up on the roof as well as examined the area of the leak. He advised us that the leak was coming from a vent pipe and that we needed to call a plumber. We had 4 other roofers come to our house, all of whom tried to sell us roofing services or minor repair services to the roof. One company tried to sell us an entire new roof. Turns out that when the plumber looked at the vent pipe, he confirmed what the Impriano rep had told us. I am very impressed that the rep was professional enough to give us accurate information despite the fact that it wouldn't result in work to his company. If we had roofing work to be done in the future, I would contact this company.
