Run from this company. Problems: did not return calls, in some instances refused to make definite appointments, did not show for stated appointments, crew did not show up when they were supposed to; owner is argumentative, unconcerned with customer concerns and is unresponsive. For the initial work in 2005, the owner had all the right answers, so I chose him over 2 other companies. The owner was to be with the crew, but he was not and did not check in at anytime. I had to call him multiple times. No flashing was put on chimney; the ventilation/ridge cap was not all the way across to give a finished look; some shingles were not secured well over bay window caps. Following several calls that went unanswered, and several appointments for the workers to correct, which resulted in no-shows, the work was finally done. After the leaks with cracks in the ceiling over the porch roof were detected in May 2013, I called him to fix it since it has a 10 year guarantee. I left 2 messages on 2 different phone numbers before getting a reply. I called and left the info with a gentleman in the office who said he would write up a work request. Six days later, I called the owner who called back and was to come to check it out and send workers to fix it the next day - NO SHOW. I called & spoke to the gentleman in the office who knew nothing about this. The owner called and after dismissing concerns by saying, "Have a painter give you an estimate and I'll pay for it" (as if just the discoloration on the porch ceiling was the problem), he argued about not having shown to check the roof. He argued my point of wanting to set a definite day for him to come out and for the work to be done and said, "You aren't the only person with problems. We have 10 to 12 service calls a day". He said he'd be out on Tuesday. Five days later, on Tuesday - NO SHOW. I called again. He stated that they come out promptly (not). He was to come on Wednesday and I made sure he stated that if there was any change he would call. Wednesday - NO SHOW. I called again. Again, he argued with me as to what he had promised to do. Was to come out on Friday - NO SHOW. Finally came 6 days later and work was done. I'm waiting to see if the repair was effective.
Description of Work: Replaced roof in 2005. A leak was detected in May 2013. Work was done to correct - still waiting to see if it worked..

The men were very friendly. They were repairing a roof that had been put on 2 years before (the roofer had gone out of business for health reasons and referred me to County Line Roofing) There were some raised shingles. When they took off the shingles they said that there were only strips of plywood and not full sheets. They SUPPOSEDLY replaced the strips with full sheets (and charged me for about 8 sheets of plywood). Six years later I realized I was having a problem again, had another roofer come out and I SAW that the plywood had not been replaced. I would not recommend this company to anyone!!
Description of Work: I needed a lower roof over my family room

Supplies were delivered early in morning, workers started ripping off old shingles. When that was done, one worker took truck and disappeared for several hours, leaving co-worker unable to finish job alone. They did do the tar paper before the end of day, but never showed up the next day. Supervisor had new crew on following day, and they finished job. Roof is good, and wasn't expensive, but I would never use them again. Boss is not on-site with workers and there is no immediate response when things go awry.
Description of Work: Stripping of old roofing shingles, new plywood, new tarpaper. New shingles and flashing.

They did not solve the chimney leaking problem at all, and for the type of service they provided, they charged WAY too much, which we didn't realize until we were told by a chimney repair guy. Even for the simple counter flashing, they didn't get it right the first time, and needed to come back TWICE to fix their own job. I would NOT recommend them at all to anybody.
Description of Work: We had a chimney leaking problem. They said they can fix it. They 1) recounter flashed chimney where it joins the roof; and 2) caulked chimney on both sides.
