They inspected an as-is home that we wanted to buy. I sent them the inspection report and told them we wanted to make sure the house would not fall down or need major repairs within the following year. Their report came back that it needed some termite damage fixed, and he also said it did not need to be done right away. The entire chimney fell down 6th months after they inspected the house, which he did not even mention in their report. When I called back, they wanted to charge me more money to review their work for the insurance company. Please do not use them.

It took four days to get a report. Then, they said a week but it actually took over two weeks to get a report, which was vague and lacks details to tell contractors what exactly needs to be fixed and repaired.

I hired Glenwood because I needed an engineer report to submit as part of permit process with the city. Their prices were in-line with other companies that I investigated. I liked the customer service they provided, they were able to answer my questions and decided to hire them. The engineer came out as scheduled and did a through inspection and suggested a few items to address to make sure I could submit a clean report. Once those items were addressed, they promptly delivered the a report which I was able to submit and get my permit approved.

The process was pretty simple, they responded by phone and mail whenever I inquired.

Al came out and looked everything over and gave us a better understanding of the foundation issues we had and gave us some tips to complete the repairs ourselves.

Wonderful experience with Glenwood Engineering! Everyone is friendly and professional. Al came out to inspect our basement and foundation and put our minds at ease. He explained how the cracks in our concrete basement floor are from water in the ground and the expansion with the freezing affecting it. He assured us we do not have an structural pr foundation issues and identified areas in the yard near the house where drainage could be problematic and advised us how to address the issue. He took his time looking at everything and explaining everything to us. I'm so glad we contacted Glenwood Engineering instead of a contactor who would have sold us an expensive job we don't need now. This is a business I highly recommend!! This provided service with great values. They are very patient and honest. They always show up on the job on time. Even we have to revise the plan a few times, the engineers revised them timely and work efficiently over the night just get it on to pass the township inspection deadline! I would definitely hire them again and recommended them for a similar service!
