Description of Work: We purchased one bed queen matteress set in October 2013 and purchased a queen and a king set in May. Our new king set is the most comfortable bed I have own. The queens are use for the guest bedrooms and our guest all like them. The matteress are great quality for the price. |They delivered the beds and set one up with great professionalism. |

WE WERE IMPRESSED WITH THE MATTRESSES ON DISPLAY AND, THANKFULLY, THE SALESPERSON WAS ABLE TO HELP US CHOOSE AMONG SEVERAL MODELS BASED ON OUR NEEDS AND SLEEP STYLE. DELIVERY WAS ONLY A FEW DAYS LATER AND WE HAVE BEEN PLEASED WITH THE MATTRESS EVER SINCE. SO PLEASED IN FACT THAT WE DECIDED TO REPLACE THE MATTRESS IN THE GUEST ROOM WITH THE EXACT SAME PARKLANE MODEL WHICH WE PURCHASED AT THE NEW STORE ON NE BROADWAY. IN OUR EXPERIENCE BOTH STORES HAD STAFF WHO, UNLIKE IN MANY MATTRESS STORES, WERE NOT AT ALL "PUSHY" BUT WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. WE APPRECIATED THAT RELAXED, PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE. |

Description of Work: We tried all the beds at Parklane and decided on The Thurman. Very, very pleased with our purchase. We have been sleeping in this bed for 1 year now. It is very comfortable. The durability has been great. It's a bonus that this bed is constructed of "green" materials, too. I coincidentally got to meet the owner of Parklane, and was very impressed by how much he cares about the company and its people and products. Delivery was prompt. Set up was complete. I will certainly buy from them in the future.

Description of Work: I purchased an $1900 mattress that did not work well for my back. When I went to exchange the mattress, I was deciding between a mattress that was the same price as the one that I already purchased and one that just happened to be cheaper. The sales manager tried to discourage me from even thinking about the less expensive one. When I didn't change my mind from the two I had already narrowed it down to, he asked that I come back to see him personally when I decided so I didn't tank his numbers. I was so shocked I did agree to come back and see him. I had still not decided but had to made a choice so I would be within the 90 day exchange period. When I went back to the store I tossed out that I was thinking I would get the less expensive one. He was obviously annoyed with me so that sealed my choice to get the less expensive mattress. While he was printing out the ppwk, he comments in a snotty tone "ya know, most people upgrade when they exchange". What the heck??? I was one person, I couldn't have had that much impact on his numbers so I assume something else was going on. Bottom line I will not be going back. On a positive note, the delivery guys were very nice and professional.

Description of Work: I purchased two twin XL mattress about 9 months a part form each other. |This after going through a mattress form Macy's (the highest quality they had) and Sleep Country who at least gave me my money back. |both mattresses from Macy's and Sleep Country failed after less than 4 weeks. |Parklane mattress are made in Oregon and have staying quality -maintained their shape and continue to give me great sleeping quality.

Description of Work: We ordered a twin-bed mattress from them and everything went perfectly - it was great quality and they delivered it when they said they would. Then a few weeks later we ordered a double-sized mattress, box springs and frame. They made a mistake in handling the order and so we got it a week later than promised. They admitted the mistake was their fault and to make up for their mistake they told us they wouldn't charge us for any of it! So it was free. A company that doesn't just admit when they make a mistake but demonstrates to this degree that they want the customer to have a good experience has captured my loyalty for life. And their products are wonderful.

Description of Work: We bought a kingsize mattress and frame on April 7. It was delivered 2 days later. Sales people and delivery people were all pleasant, professional and easy to deal with. Our mattress continues to be comfortable. We appreciated that Parklane does not have 'sales' on overpriced merchandise, but just prices their products fairly.
