I had the misfortune to be hooked up with LB Heating by a home warranty company. My AC didn't work and the highs were in the 80's. My house was hotter than the air outside so it was an urgent situation. LB showed up days after being called and told me the problem was the thermostat. They said they "didn't have a thermostat" to fix it and that it had to be approved by the home warranty company. I let them know this was an urgent situation and needed to be fixed immediately. I expected them to call me Wednesday, the next day. They did not so I left them a polite message on Thursday morning. No call back. I called the home warranty company Friday afternoon. They reached the contractor, who said he had forgotten about me. I left them another message, still no call back. It's now a week since their service call, still no call back. Meanwhile they have $75 of my money they took before they vanished. While here, they also told me the thermostat I wanted cost double the cost of its actual cost on Amazon. They are one of the worst contractors I've ever dealt with.
