The installation was set up to take place over a 2 week period to meet my personal needs. The first week the laminate was installed in the kitchen and two bathrooms. The workman were very pleasant and were continually cleaning up behind themselves. The job was done in one day and I was left with no mess just 3 very nicely installed floors. The following week my old carpet was removed and the new installed. Once again the workman was very pleasant and continually cleaning up behind himself. The job was completed within one day and the finished product was great.

He said that he had just made a big purchase of this inexpensive carpet that was neutral. I thought it would be good for the 3 rooms that we needed carpeted, but it was going to be a while until we did the installation since we were doing some construction on the house. He said that was fine and that he would hold it for me if I gave him a deposit. I gave him 1300.00 for the deposit and installation this price was for half, he called me a few months later and we were still in the middle of the construction project. I told him one room was ready the second was almost ready and the third is not ready and will not be ready for a while. I told him he could come do the installation for the room that was done and he told me no that I got a good deal and he wanted to wait to do the installation when all 3 rooms were ready. Then I never heard from him again. So I went down there to talk to them, I figured that they didn't have the carpet anymore. So I told them that I wanted to get the 2 rooms that were done carpeted now and if they didn't have the same carpet I would pick out a different kind of carpet and just have the 2 rooms done because I couldn't wait until the third room was done. They didn't have the same carpet so I applied the deposit to a different, more expensive carpet and I left. I called to schedule the installation and they couldn't do it then, so I called back to schedule again and Tim gets on the phone and says that he would not apply my 1300.00 deposit on the other carpet, he stated I lost my deposit because I waited to long. Then he told me furthermore out of the kindness of my heart I will give you 500.00 back toward the other carpet and I told him no that is totally unacceptable. I told him that I was dealing with him and that he could apply my deposit to the cost of the other carpet and that I wanted it installed right now. He told me no that I could talk to his lawyer.

Overall they did an OK job. There were two different workers, one for the carpet and flooring and one for the countertops. The carpet guy was late every day and it took him 8 days just to put the molding down for the flooring. The guy that did the countertops kept on messing it up like he just did not know how to do it correctly. I didn't like that they weren't apologetic with their errors.
