They were great. They came when they said they would, and when they ran into a glitch (isn't there always one?) the supervisor came out and explained what was going on and said it would cost more to install. Fortunately, it was only $75 - and the work was completed on time and there have been no problems at all. I would not use anyone else after my experience with them!

Service was professional from the call for service to the service itself. They were prompt in scheduling service and the serviceman was courtesous and efficient. A pleasure doing business with Day Heating Co.

Explained how to use the new programmable thermostat, instructed us on the proper type and process for replacing filters and let us know we could call them whenever we had a question. The equipment (Bryant for both the heater and a/c) has performed flawlessly. Very good company to work with.

Day Heating was extremely prompt and professional when I contacted them for a quote on a gas fire insert and a gas water heater. They were able to come to my home and provide a quote with multiple options within the same day. They were also happy to explain those options and talk through their recommendation. I look forward to them actually doing the work in a few weeks. Recommend!

John was polite and knowledgeable. He gave me a detailed report of the damage - The heating ducts in the very low crawl space under the house were damaged by feral cats - and necessary repairs. I agreed to the work and he began immediately. It took most of the day. He informed me of the conditions under the house and made sure all the vent screens were repaired so this won't happen again. Everything works properly now. I would definitely use Day Heating again.

Their annual service visit was excellent.

Day Heating required 50% down to start the project however they were quick and prompt. They were extremely professional. The staff was friendly and educated me on why they did what they did and the system has been working great since. Overall my electric bill has been lowered $150 a month and the system will pay for its self in four years due to the savings in utility bill.

The guy I spoke with was very professional and they did a great job of installing and did what I asked and did it in a timely manner. I will continue to use their services in the future.

The price for all they did was pretty good. I was very pleased with them.

They were fabulous. I like the way they communicated while they were tracing the problem. When we was done he put it all in writing and provided a fair estimate with a great recommendation for an electrician.

It was good, but on the spendy side

It went well. Day Heating had a very reasonable price, and their installer was hard-working, intelligent, and clean. The company was great at responding and following up as well.

The initial experience was satisfactory. I have used Day Heating many times in the past and find them to be a reputable company. Just not at this time, for this project.

They were the only company that was able to successfully diagnose and fix my furnace. All the other companies I used fixed other things, but they never corrected the entire problem. Day's was always prompt, they did good work, and their price was right.

They seemed competent and I will use them again in the future.

Excellent ! The furnace was coming on, but the Ignitor wasn't turning on. After a minute or so the furnace draft fan would go off The service professional was prompt in arrival, quick in diagnosis and the fix. And also very courteous! He also cleaned the Gas sensors and gave me a 101 on the overall system

Every year since we first bought our house in ?05 we?ve done a project and we make it a rule to get 3 bids from local contractors and then choose based on the following criteria: 1) Believability of the estimator (Is he/she blowing smoke or do they seem to know what they?re talking about) 2) Ideas he/she may have to make our project even better 3) Length of time in business 4) Cost ? and, we do it in that order. The first time we used Day Heating was when we converted our house from all electric to gas. It was a major job because all the piping had to be run into the garage from the newly installed meter outside and then under the house to where the appliances were going to be. I wasn?t home when Jim (Owner) came out to do the estimate but my wife said he explained in detail everything that needed to be done but did so in such a way it was easy to understand and that she liked his easy-going demeanor ? she said she never felt ?talked down to? as some contractors seem to do when dealing with a woman. We reviewed all 3 bids and Jim?s was within a $100.00 of the other. The length of time in the business and my wife?s comment on how nice he was, got Day Heating the job. We couldn?t have been happier ? it was a couple day job and the installer they sent (Jason) was equally as friendly as Jim, cleaned the work area spotlessly before leaving at the end of the first day and finished the job in the time Jim said they would. So when we had a sun-room added to our home and wanted to get it heated and cooled, we called Jim ? and no one else. At the same time we had him upgrade the heating system to provide heat in another addition done two years ago. He did an excellent job of both and we couldn?t be more pleased. We felt we had found someone we could trust to be fair and we already knew the quality of the work ? and we weren?t disappointed this time either. We would highly recommend Jim and his crew and, as for us, will never bother with the 3 bid process for anything relating to heating or cooling again ? we?ll just call Jim. I was pleased with them. They estimated the price at 300 dollars, and they came in at 270 dollars. This was just a verbal estimate over the phone based on my description of what the problem was. They said they would come out between 1:00 and 4:00 and they came 10 minutes after 1:00. He was very friendly, polite, and professional. All categories were excellent because I can't think of anything that they did wrong.

I called the company late in the morning and they were able to schedule a technician to check my failed gas furnace that same afternoon at 4:30. Casey called me at 3:00 to see if he could come early (how often does that happen). That worked great for me. In less than an hour he identified the problem, fixed it and tested the system to make sure the fix was good. Casey was very professional, friendly, and qualified. And he didn't try to up-sell me on anything or suggest any unnecessary work. The price was fair and the experience was great. I'll use them again in the future.

The technician arrived promptly at appointed time of 0830. He performed his checks and necessary cleaning tasks on the inside heating unit first. He then proceeded to the outside heat pump unit and performed the pressure check and made other observations. Here is where he found the mechanical relay that was about to fail. With my ok he replaced the relay. He gave me a copy of his report and a recommendation to remove the electronic air filters and replace them with a paper filter that would do a much better job of cleaning the air and prevent the inside unit from being damaged from dust and dirt particles that were not being caught. This action has been completed by me.
