Response from TerraFirma Foundation Systems
In response to the allegations made by [member name removed] against my company; "They showed up late" - My crew drove to Bend on the afternoon prior to starting the project and stayed the night. They arrived at the [member name removed] home at 7:43am according to GPS tracking signature in the vehicle. We were scheduled to arrive at 8:00am. "rushed the job"- A 3-man crew spent a total of 43.5 hrs installing (9) piers to an average depth of 10' under the direct supervision of a Special Inspector from the Engineer or Record for the project. "left without getting the permit signed off by the county building inspector"- Crook County Community Development, like many jurisdictions, does not require us to get jurisdictional sign-off when we have full-time special inspection. Per Lou Haehnlen, Crook County Building Official, the permit for the [member name removed] project was compliant and has been signed off. "Numerous phone calls resulted in a lack of professionalism and unwillingness to come back and fix the job"- We have record of a total of (3) calls from the [member name removed], (2) are recorded. One of those calls was a nearly inaudible tirade of obscenities and threats alleging TerraFirma crew members had stolen prescription narcotic medication, another is an apology for that call. As the Owner and President of TerraFirma, our customers' experience is my first priority. Upon reviewing the project file I found the customer sign-off form, filled out and signed by [member name removed] on 5/28/14 where he answered the following questions; Were you happy with the results of the completed project? Answer: Yes Was the cleanup satisfactory? Answer: Yes we also ask our customers on this form to take a moment and write a personalized review of their "TerraFirma Experience". [member name removed] wrote: Thank you. I am sorry that we have not been able to fully satisfy the [member name removed] and I look forward to resolving the matter with the assistance of the Oregon Construction Contractors Board.
