Skyline tree work

The fir tree that was removed had grown right next to a very large boulder that I wanted removed also. It was right next to my fence and took them a long time to wrestle it out to a spot where they could get it on their small fork lift. They estimated that it weighed close to 1000 pounds! I honestly didn't think that they would be able to get it to their truck but they did! Once the rock was gone, they ground up the big stump as well as the smaller ones and cleaned up the mess. They did an excellent job and I tipped them because I felt bad watching them wrestle around that rock in 90+ degree heat!

Skyline was the fifth and last place I called for an estimate on a pretty big tree trimming and removal job in my back yard. Benji was very friendly, seemed super knowledgeable, understood what I wanted, and gave me an incredible bid. It wasn't the cheapest, but it was the most comprehensive, and I came away feeling good about the decision to go with Skyline, despite few reviews here on Angie's List and elsewhere on the web. He and his crew showed up when he said they would. They were all very nice, answered random questions I had, and explained a few things along the way. At the end of a long, very hot day, they cleaned up the yard and left it as they'd found it, just with fewer trees and hazardous branches. I would absolutely recommend Skyline Tree Service to anyone, and I'll definitely call them again when the next round of trimming is required. This was one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor/specialist doing work on my home.

Great! Benji showed up in the morning day 1, started working ASAP (it took a little time to get the grinder in the back due to the slope of my yard and around my deck), and finished morning of next day. He asked if I wanted him to take care of an extra tree (not billed for) and a couple small stumps because... they were there! Awesome work.

The folks from Skyline tree work were working on our neighbors trees. I asked if they could give us an estimate when they finished up. They gave me a free estimate on the spot and were able to complete the work same day. They were very considerate of the fruit trees need for light and were able to prune and shape aggressively while leaving them in good shape to produce fruit. They were kind enough to chip a bunch of extra branches we had lying around from our own pruning efforts. We were impressed with their clean-up, they left the area looking nice.

Considering the size of the tree and the tight quarters, it was amazing. They did awesome work, getting each piece of the tree to fall just where they wanted it. Later, they returned to grind the stump, which went really quickly. They were fantastic to work with and I recommend them highly.
