My experience with Macadam Floor and Design was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to the help of Jake and his team! From beginning to end the service was excellent on a rather difficult application. We installed over 3,000 square feet of LVP flooring on two stories in a floating home on the Willamette River, much of which needed leveling before install. I was kept informed throughout the entire process and the install went seamlessly with the expertise of Oleg and his crew. I could not be more pleased with the final result and would recommend, without reservation, Macadam Floor and Design to anyone considering new flooring. You won’t be disappointed......

Macadam did a great job. From the initial contact, to getting us a speedy quote, to scheduling and installing. Jake was the project manager and he was super. He was on top of everything, got back to us quickly on anything we had questions on, and was always friendly. The guys who came and installed the floor were also great. They arrived on time, they were respectful (both my husband and I are working from home during COVID), they work masks the entire time they were here, they kept the noise to a minimum, they cleaned up at the end of the day, and always checked with us for any questions. We couldn't be happier with our floor install.

Our second time using Macadam. Jake does a great job explaining things and coordinating the tasks from measurements all the way thru install. Sean follows thru with scheduling your install and making sure everything is completed to customers satisfaction. We had both LVP and carpeting installed and all the contractors were hard working, skilled, and thorough. Everyone wore masks and cleaned up after the installs. They all work together like a well oiled machine! We will be returning customers!

It went very well; Karen King was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. She helped us with countertop selections, flooring (both hardwood and carpet), tile, paint color, etc. Our original appointment was to be 6 hrs over 2 days, but with Karen's help we were able to finish all our selections in one day.

We worked with Kylie Dalton as our designer in our new construction home. She helped us pick out all our flooring and hard surfaces, carpet, LVP, tile, mosaics even grout, in our entire home helping. She was patient, knowledgeable and helped ensure a consistent, modern design while keeping budgets in mind. Highly recommend!

This was second time we worked with Macadam, Jake did a good job. I don't shop around anymore, and just go straight here for our flooring needs.

We purchased a condo recently that needed an almost complete renovation -- and flooring was the first thing we wanted to take on. From our very first contact with Macadam, we knew we were in good hands when we met Darren K.on a Saturday in late September 2020. We ultimately chose a cork product that was able to be installed in one day and we couldn't be happier. The handoff from Darren to the install manager, Caine, was seamless and Caine made sure that the installers were well-informed and timely. Throughout the whole process, Macadam's communication was exceptional. I can recommend them without reservation.

It went great! Rick, Kane and their installing crew were very helpful and kept us informed throughout the whole experience. Reasonable pricing as well!

When we had old floors removed and new floors put into our house we dealt with Macadam Flooring and Design. They made it so easy for us. We had terrific help at their showroom helping us with our selection of flooring. Randy VanLant and his team are terrific. Every issue, the few that there were, was taken care of immediately. What we thought would be a huge burden turned out to be an enjoyable experience. It was all done in just a few days. I also worked with Katie on my personal home with LVT flooring in the family, dining and kitchen areas. Both Katie and Macadam are great to work with!

Great. Jake was super helpful over the phone and led me through his recommendations considering our needs and conditions. We had a slight hicup when I went in for my first appointment since my husband had been recently tested for COVID as a routine precaution from his workplace and hadn't gotten results back. Honestly, I appreciated the precautions they took since it helps to protect us all. Once we nailed down material choices, and got measurements completed it was a fairly seamless process. The two contractors doing each section did great jobs, taking care to iron out a few squeaks in the flooring while they had the opportunity, cleaning up after themselves and installing everything beautifully. The installation manager, Sean, was great with communication throughout.

We spoke with Rick told him what we were wanting he knew exactly which flooring we wanted. Set up all the appointments quickly. They were wonderful to work with. He has a very professional staff to work with from start to finish. The day of install the installers came in and got right to work and knocked out our flooring quickly and I have to say the floors are beautiful, I have waited a long time to get New floors and I’m so pleased with them. The installers answered all our questions are were very professional. Before they left they had cleaned up like they were never here. Rick called the day after installation to check in and see how we liked the floors and if there were any problems. We told him we wanted to do carpets in the bedrooms and he told us he had the perfect color to complement the flooring. We are looking forward to the next phase next year. Our remodel required some serious tile choices. We found just what we wanted at Macadam Floor (who would have thought?). Katie Stilwater was just the right person to understand what we were after and led us to just the right choices and price points. From day one - Brian Sherrill took the extra effort to accommodate and work with my wife to insure she was satisfied with our choices. The installation of both the countertop and backsplash was done with the highest level of professionalism and quality. We had looked at two other firms and Macadam cane through with best choices, best price and best service. We love our new kitchen - Thank you Brian and Macadam.

Great. Darren Koonce was very helpful in getting replacement carpet pad, and sealing subfloors. This was a rental home with pet urine damage. Needed assistance dealing with that and needed quick turn around. Very impressed. Would use them again.

I had my new floors installed on July 8th. The crew that did the install were on time and professional throughout. They stayed until the job was completed; 9:00 PM the same day. Which was perfect for me not to have another day of disruption. They did a wonderful job and I am more than happy with the work and the product I chose. Rick was my install manager. I cannot say enough of the service I received and the whole experience. After receiving very poor service from a competitor I called Macadam and they worked with the time frames I needed. We purchased and had our new wood floors installed by Macadam Floors in John's Landing. Jake, our salesperson hung with us for a few years before we pulled the trigger on the project. When we finally made our decision, but we were not able to install the floor for 5 months, so Jake helped us find storage for the materials. Our planned installation time, March 2020, was delayed due to COVID. Macadam absorbed the cost of the three extra months of storage. The installation process was managed by Sean, who was an excellent project manager. His installers, lead by Olig, were great. They wore masks and we very prompt and commutative if they were going to be late. They finished the job daily, at the time promised, and finished the entire job earlier than expected. I found Macadam Floor & Design after I was seriously disappointed by another flooring company. The other company's customer service was abysmal. I immediately went to Yelp and started looking for another option for new carpeting in my home. I am SO GLAD I found Macadam!! From my very first phone call, I was treated like a valued client & VIP! We were so pleased to work with Jake at Macadam Flooring and Design recently. When it became apparent that my aunt needed to move to assisted living, we made the decision to put her condo up for sale. This involved making some needed improvements before going on the market and, on top of this, a long delay due to a water leak and issues with another contractor, all being arranged and followed long distance from California. Of course, COVID-19 did not help. Through it all, we kept up communication with Jake, who was flexible and made sure arrangements went smoothly. He is a true professional committed to excellent customer service! I found his installer, Sean, easy to communicate with and ready to work with me on convenient and fast install dates. The work was done just as described. I would highly recommend Macadam and Jake and his crew.

We had a fantastic experience working with Macadam Floor and Design to replace our den's carpet with hardwood. Jake McKowen, the Senior Project Manager, sent out his colleague Jon to measure our den. Jon arrived with a mask, laser measuring instrument, and a tablet to take notes; comparatively, a competitor sent out someone with no mask, measuring tape, and a legal pad. That first impression, coupled with a quote that bested the competitor, led us to work with Jake and Macadam Floor and Design. Jake and Sean were able to accommodate our need to have this install done on a Saturday. When the installer, Oleg, arrived, he noticed that they would need to deviate from the original plan/quote since our subflooring used particleboard. Oleg worked with Jake to find an immediate workaround, which allowed the project to both progress and not have us incur additional charges. Oleg finished the job in five hours, and the flooring looks phenomenal. We will be working with Macadam Floor and Design for our other home improvement needs.

Katie Stilwater and her team at Macadam Flooring exceeded all of my expectations. Great communication throughout the process, competitive pricing and professional installation. My vacation rental was some distance from Portland, but that didn't slow them down. Had to deal with COVID, but that didn't slow them down. Had to deal with picky family members of mine and opinions, but that didn't slow them down. In the end, everyone was happy and my place looks 1000% better. I would hire Katie and her team anytime.

Macadam did a wonderful job re-tiling our fireplace. Due to the pandemic, all of our communications were done either over the phone or email. Jake was the project manager and was very responsive to all of my questions and always got back to me in a timely manner. We had one in-person appointment to pick out materials and when we arrived, all of the options we had talked about were already laid out and waiting for us, which made it very efficient. Sean did the actual install and it was done perfectly and timely. We are very happy with the final results.
