Allen took an holistic approach instead of just slapping a formula over my problem-I really appreciated this. He evaluated my particular situation (my house being very very close to the houses around it, with very little land around the houses to absorb heavy rainfall) and suggested a multi-faceted approach. He was dependable and timely, and would call if he was running late. He did what he said he would do and was very pleasant to work with. The work was done well and respectfully. I haven't had the chance to see how the basement does in a very heavy rain situation, but I'm hoping that the job took care of my flooding and leaking problems.

Allen was prompt and helpful in assessing what was required. Allen offered to fix a leak in the sewer line saving me the expense of hiring a plumber on a separate contract. I was EXTREMELY pleased with every aspect of the job performed: courteous team, fast work and they left the area very clean and took great pains to ensure that I was satisfied with the results. Everything was protected with plastic and everything that I asked to be done was done with a great attitude to service excellence. Having Allen Riffe working in my home felt as though I had an ally who was looking out for my best interests. His quote was equal or better than his competitors and he came in on budget and ahead of schedule. In addition he disposed of a freezer, television set several cans of unwanted paint and a huge pile of demolition debris that was not created by his workers. I have no doubt in reconstructing my basement, All Service construction will be my first choice. Far exceeded my expectations.

I called Allen for a quote and the next day the job was complete! They had to clean the walls, repair several areas of drywall, retexture those areas and the paint the room. After that was done, the electrical outlet covers looked even dirtier so Allen went to a home improvement store and bought brand new covers. Now it looks like I have brand new walls!

I am a single woman, and at all times Allen treated me with respect. He offered suggestions to me regarding the room, including adding a closet where the second door was before the remodel. My house is very small, so storage space is at a premium. I was almost more excited about my new closet than the room! The house was built rather oddly, and it turns out that a heat duct was inside the wall I wanted knocked down. Working with Allen (and some advice from my dad), we came up with a solution to partition the room a bit. It actually worked out great - the bit of wall that could not be knocked out because of the heat duct makes a nice private space for a small desk for my daughter's computer and for study. Most of the work was done by Dale, who did a great job, but Allen touched base with me as necessary and was there for the final paint job and made sure I was satisfied with the work. I would definitely use All Service Construction & Maintenance again.

Allen came out to give us his opinion and a quote on some work that needs to be done to our foundation, water drainage around the house, and a few other items. After going through my long list of issues with the house he gave some very good recommendations of what I can accomplish myself and what I need to hire out for. He gave me a good idea of costs, but couldn't be sure what portion I could do and what portion I couldn't, being that we're on a fairly tight budget. I was very happy with his expertise on how to go about resolving everything, including what we should focus on first and what can wait.

All Service came out promptly to review our garage roof leakage problem and proposed a solution that not only repaired the interior water damage but also remedied the cause (poor original drainage design of area where garage and house roof areas came together) by installing extended flashing along the entire roofline to the gutters. Their crew did the work about two weeks later, taking a couple of days altogether, and performed in a professional manner with good clean up afterwords. Although the price was more than we originally expected, we concluded that the additional roof work All Service performed was necessary for preventative reasons so that there would not be a recurrence of water damage during the winter rainy season.

The overall experience was so easy. Brent has a good grasp on planning the job and his workers are efficient. I'd definitely call them again. I have no complaints. Reliable, speedy, clean. When job is totally complete, the tarps bushes and ladders should be taken with the last ones. I did call the local office, they responded favorably to the suggestion and will come today to pick stuff up.

I will use them again without hesitation and recommend them to others. They did an excellent job in every respect.

Allen Riffe came out personally to look over the scene at our first meeting. He looked at the homeowner's sketch, then clearly translated those ideas into a working project. He added the excellent idea of weather-resistant tile and redoing the sidewalk. He regularly checked on the project's status. As the project reached its mid-point, Dan Akers took personal 'ownership' as he worked on the porch. His work with the tile included a rounded corner on the top step, which added greatly to the look of the porch. All Service Construction & Maintenance is easy to reach. They have a walk-up office and a friendly staff assistant (Kimberly) who answers the phone when the crew is out working on projects. The estimate was adhered to, so there was no problem with the price. The homeowner included a letter with the final payment stating we would be happy to serve as references for All Service Construction & Maintenance.

Initially, the bid proposal was the most professional of 3 bids from 3 different outfits, with a bid around the middle of the ball park. However getting started was not so professional since I couldn't get a response from my contact for days about when the work would begin. Finally owner Alan came out to the site, as he promised, making apologies and looking over the job to get things moving. Work began almost immediately as promised and continued until it was finished. The outcome was very professional and the finished work is very good. Details to taping and finish work were as per spec and we are very happy with the results.

Did an excellent job, were great to deal with, and took the time (weather was a factor) to wait until they could "do it right".

There was a little little confusion between Alan, the owner, and someone in the office initially. But Alan came to the house to give me a quote and explained exactly what they would be doing. He answered all my questions. They started work on the agreed upon date and finished in 4 days. They did everything they said they would do and cleaned up pretty well at the end of each day. This is a very dusty process. They left the house is good shape. I had to do some dust clean-up, but that was expected.

Woodpeckers had damaged the siding on our chimney and we wanted to replace it before the winter. We called several contractors from Angie's List but they all said they were too busy for such a small job. Allen was very courteous and said he would send someone over to look at what needed to be done. Ralph arrived and took less than 5 minutes to take measurements. We were sent a bid both via email and by mail. We did not have any old paint left that matched our old siding and they came and matched the color without troubling us. We told Allen we wanted the work done while we were on vacation, however we were in a rush and forgot to pay them the agreed upon 1/3 fee before we left. When we returned we were pleasantly surprised to see that the work was completed and the remaining paint left by our front door.

Allen Riffe was the best thing (the only good thing) that happened to us all week. Our neighbors had just clear-cut their property leaving our trees and home exposed to winds. We needed large, evergreen shrubs in a hurry. While walking the dog we encountered Allen on another job which necessitated his removing some three large rhododendrons and two camellias from that property! Allen agreed to bring them to us and was very helpful getting them in the ground temporarily until I can plant them permanently in the spring, then he loaded up his truck, and took all of our yard-waste to the compost recyclers. The next day he returned to haul away a truckload of debris including our 80 gallon water heater which had just broken. He was very helpful, even recommending I look around the area again to insure he got everything which needed to be gone.

I called to get an estimate, and they were too busy at the time to come out. I would consider them in the future only because of their good rating on Angie's list.

They did a great job. The job took a day longer than anticipated, but they made sure I was ok with it, which I was.

Allan did a god job of cutting down these large limbs and sawing them into fireplace size logs. He also cleaned up the yard nicely. I also talked with him about other items I need done, but have not had that work done yet. He did quote me a price of 100$ plus 20$ to sharpen the saw to do the tree job, but then gave me a bill for more, saying that he had to charge me to haul it away.

Allen came out to give an estimate on a garage redo and ended up giving good advice. Contrary to two other contractors, Allen suggested we contact a Architect and get a good set of plans to guide our project. Thanks Allen.

Very upsetting. We called All Service a week before they were to come out & give an estimate. They called & needed to reschedule, which was fine. They sent a letter & an email thanking us for the business. They called us the day before the appointment & canceled- they said that we were too far out to do the work! This was 1 week before our home sale was to be finalized. I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone living in Western Washington County or who needs a job done on time! The funny thing about the whole deal was that Allen knew where we were located when the plans were made- he was asked by a fellow employee if it was fine to do the work.

Allen called before he arrived because he was 15 min early and wanted to make sure that was ok. He was very friendly and professional. He apologized that his company could not help me at this time and to remember them for future needs. I was nervous that he would be irritated at spending his time without getting paid. I was waiting for the surprise ''traveling charge'' on the free estimate, but none came. He continued to be friendly and polite. I will definitely call them when something else needs to be done.

Allen bid the job, was very professional and able to start right away. His workers are very pleasant to work with, do a great job and very reasonably priced. We plan to hire Allen's company again for future projects.

Allen and his crew did a thorough job. This was a difficult job as it all had to be done by hand. They had to dig around all of the utility lines without damaging them. The crew was careful to keep the landscaping around the areas as undisturbed as possible. Plants that had to be moved were replanted carefully. The crew cleaned up the site every day.

Allen was very easy to work with. He was professional, courteous and very concerned that I was happy with the finished work. His crew was friendly and hardworking and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done well. They did an excellent job and I am very happy to recommend them highly and without reservation.

We have a mildew smell coming from under our basement carpet, so I called All Service hoping to get someone out to check it out, tell us their plan of attack, and give us an estimate. The person that answered the phone (Doug?) was very nice and took my information, saying Allen would call me back that evening. He never did. Maybe it was an innocent mistake, like misplacing my number, but like the Angie's List mantra, I'm tired of lousy service and just don't feel I should have to beg for a company to take my business.

I called this company requesting them to provide a bid proposal on a basement with water problems. Allen came out as promised on a Sunday, but failed to ever get back to us with a bid proposal. Curious why these companies bother on coming out to the job site and then don't bid on the work.
