 + -1 moreIt went well, the price was fair (though slightly high for parts and a $15.00 additional "Truck Charge"), and I will use Mike again because his work was professional, he was on time, and he offered several options.
Description of Work: I had a hose bib that had broken during the winter. Mike promptly came by after I called and gave me a rough estimate, based on the different options that I had. Mike replaced one hose bib, ran new line under my house in order to install a better shut-off valve, and also checked and repaired an additional leak in my garage while he was there.

Although it was close to the holiday weekend and some of the workers were already booked, they figured out a way to fit my appointment into their schedule. When they were there, we asked them to replace other valves as well (when one goes, they eventually will all start to go). They accomodated our schedule and additional work request. They did it promptly and quickly with great quality. Thank you!

 + 0 moreFirst, Nick called ahead to advise what time he would be arriving. Arrived promptly. Nick immediately began work and kept us apprised of what he found. He cleared the drains. He installed a new trap. When he had finished with the clogged drain I asked him to look at a showerhead that had been dripping, dripping, dripping. He replaced a spring & washer and the dripping, thankfully, finally stopped. Nick was professional, knowledgeable, personable and took care of all our plumbing issues in record time. I have placed his card on my rolodex and will call him when other plumbing problems arise.
Description of Work: Middle bathroom sink would not drain & water from washing machine was backing up into middle bathroom bathtub each time I ran a load of laundry. Nick cleared the pipes. He installed a new trap. He tested the pipes to assure the clog was removed. When he had finished with the clogged drain I asked him to look at a showerhead that had been dripping, dripping, dripping. He replaced a spring & washer and the dripping, thankfully, finally stopped.

Service was offered for the same day but our schedule would not accommodate the time suggested. We agreed for service the following day. Arrived when scheduled very professional and knowledgeable. In fact they located our water shut off when others had been unable to locate. Super kudos!

 + -1 moreNick (at Mike Patterson Plumbing) is a superb plumber. He is both efficient and knowledgeable. After Nick left my house, I realized that we had forgotten to pull out one of the bathroom drains for cleaning/unclogging. I called the company & Nick made time in his schedule the following day to stop back by and finish. Mike Patterson plumbing is not the least expensive in town, however, most of the time you get what you pay for and Nick definitely provides quality plumbing services. He works quickly & cheerfully. I will definitely call him again for any future plumbing needs.

 + -1 moreAfter Nick came out to look at the initial problem Ty came out give me a bid on it. He suggested that to save money I could move a number of boxes and pieces of furniture to clear the area, and slice and roll up the carpet myself. Ty coordinated all the steps of the process, and from Ty and Nick all the way down the line everyone showed up when they were expected (or called and let us know if they were going to be late). Every employee was cordial and very easy to work with, showed concern about the quality of the particular job they were on and were an all around pleasure.
Description of Work: When having a periodic drain cleanout for our laundry room drain the rooter company found that their cable-camera was stuck in a section of the drain. They located the camera using an electronic device, then quoted me a price on repairing the problem. I decided to get a bid from the Patterson Company, based on their Angie's rating. Patterson's price was comparable to the rooter company's but I preferred the method they would use to open up the concrete floor. They excavated the dirt under a cut about 12' x 1.5' onto plastic sheeting to protect the carpet, which had been sliced through and rolled up. The iron drainpipe (nearly 50 years old and totally rotted out) was replaced by Nick with black plastic pipe, as was the Y to the laundry room drain. Afterward the dirt was replaced, packed down, pieces of rebar put into the existing cut of concrete, and new concrete poured. When Nick reconnected the upstairs drain (which the rooter cable had gone through) he thoughtfully added a Y so that rather than disconnecting the garbage disposal from the cleanout plug at the wall we merely need to pull a single plug if we ever need a cleanout again. Nick did a beautiful job.

 + -1 moreYesterday morning I flushed the toilet and moments later water start pouring out from the top of the tank. I turned off the water at the valve and when I looked into the tank everything was amiss. I called Mike Patterson Plumbing (this is the second time I've used them) and made the appointment for them to come out this morning. Jeff who was here the first time called me about 15 minutes prior to arrival to confirm he was on his way which I liked very much. Jeff is very personable and know his business very well. He identified the problem, fixed it and left the area very clean. I told Jeff that I wanted to replace a few sinks and faucets and he checked them out and concurred that they needed to be replaced and gave me a few rough estimates. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

We appreciate Mike Patterson Plumbing for their honest and integrity, even when it meant losing our business. We will definitely call them next time we need help with plumbing. It is refreshing to deal with a company with integrity.
Description of Work: Ty came to our home for an estimate. We wanted the tub and sliding glass doors on our tub replaced with a new tub, shower bar and possibly tile surround. Ty gave us a complete estimate, carefully explaining all it would entail. But he also told us that our tub was in good shape and we could make it look like new by refurbishing for a great deal less money.
