Gabe was very professional and knowledgable. He was prompt and took care to lay tarps and left all areas clean. He took the time to instruct me on maintenance for both the drains and garbage disposal using natural household items. He is extremely efficient and represents this company well. We will definately use this company for any future repairs.

He called to tell me how long it would take to get to my house and even went out of his way to offer a few pointers to keep my new home functioning properly in winter. We called Mike Patterson Plumbing because we needed a new toilet in our second bathroom and to have a leaking hose bib replaced. The receptionist told us we could get a standard toilet from them, buy a toilet at Home Depot or work with the supplier that they regularly use. She then gave us the name of the person at Consolidated Supply, their supplier, who she recommended we talk to about toilet options. We went to Consolidated and got invaluable assistance in selecting a water-saving and yet inexpensive toilet. Because the toilet was in stock, we were able to schedule the plumbing work for the next day. The plumber picked up the toilet, for which we paid significantly less than list-price because of the contractor's discount. The plumber called to check that we were home and arrived as scheduled. He removed the old toilet and installed the new toilet and toilet seat. This took about an hour. He then replaced the hose bib, which was somewhat involved because he also needed to remove and replace some of the pipe inside the house. The plumber was congenial, professional and efficient. He left the bathroom clean and tidy.

Gabe arrived on time, worked quickly, was professional, and left work area clean. Work was complete and very satisfactory. Worker also provided suggestions for drain and pipe maintenance that were helpful and greatly appreciated.

First off, they fit me into their schedule on the same day I called for service. They came in under their estimate. Nick was very nice. Clearly explained what he was doing. The outside frost proof hose bib in the backyard was challenging as it could have meant opening up an inside wall to replace. Nick tried three or four things so we would not have to do that. That was a relief and it saved a lot of time, money and hassle. Nick did a good job. He did not waste time. I felt like he was a good troubleshooter. If I need any other plumbing things done, I will be calling them again. I will be recommending them to family and friends.

I wish we could give Gabriel and Mike Patterson Plumbing an A+++. We've finally found a plumber in the Portland area that we would use again and recommend highly to others. Basically, our kitchen faucet exploded above and below counter level and we had to turn off water to the area. On Thursday we purchased a new faucet in town and on Friday morning we called Mike Patterson Plumbing based on the good reviews on Angie's List. At first they said they could come Monday morning, but as the timing of these things often happens, we were having out-of-town company arrive that very day, Friday. So they rearranged their schedule to fit us in and came at 2:30. Gabriel was professional, explained everything, and a person of integrity. He did the job and explained some other maintenance tips to us. We thought the price was very reasonable. We would not hesitate to call him again, although, of course, we hope we don't have to!

The service was excellent. We were kept informed as the job progressed. The work was difficult as the lathe & plaster was extremely thick (2 inches of wood & 4 inches of plaster) to drill into from the basement area to the sink plumbing. Mike Patterson's plumbing company allowed us a discount for the unforeseen difficulty with access to the plumbing from the estimate given. Gabe came out to install a toilet and a kitchen sink-faucet - he ended up replacing a broken garbage disposal and installing a sick pedestal, which included cutting the sink from the wall - in addition to the original job (about 3 hours total). I called to request an appointment and was scheduled within one working day. Gabe arrived on time, stalled the hose bibs and the auto vent. He 'customized' the vent installation to make access under the sink easier and save some time and money. He also answered questions I had about the function of the auto vent. Extremely professional.

I needed a plumber to fix a busted outdoor PVC pipe (bad weatherization job on my part) that feeds my drip line. Inside, we needed our master bath sink drain fixed/cleaned. After a bit of trouble finding us (not his fault, without GPS some folks have trouble finding our house), the friendly and professional Nick showed up and immediately got to work on the PVC pipe. He found a second PVC pipe joint that was broken and fixed that one as well. He showed me that the irrigation drip line installer had not used enough PVC pipe cement, and didn't use the correct type of cement. Nick warned me to look for future problems with the other pipes and joints the drip line installer had put in. Next, Nick tackled our master bath drain, which has been problematic since we bought this house 3 years ago. After a quick clean out of the sink's p-trap, we were all set. I'm very happy with the service that Mike Patterson Plumbing, and Nick, provided. He was straight forward, and made no attempt to squeeze any extra money out of me by offering any additional services. He credited me their Angieslist discount automatically, which I had forgotten to ask for. I appreciated that. I also ended up paying less than I was expecting overall. Great service, and I'll be calling them again with any future plumbing needs!

Did a great job, and provided me with insights into maintaining the ancient plumbing, at an affordable price. First plumber in a long time in Portland that hasn't tried to rip me off in any way, which is nice. Very highly recommended.

We called and Nick came out at the time he said he would the SAME DAY! He was friendly, had all the equipment he needed in the truck and fixed the valve. He offered to replace the old hose bib on the outside of the garage with a new one. We had him do it and it works great. It wasn't a huge job so we appreciated the prompt service. We got faster response from Patterson Plumbing than we can get from the police. We would recommend this company to our friends and family.

He was good. He came out twice. He was prompt, courteous and friendly. He was neat and clean. He did a very good job. I would say that it's a very good company. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

He was fine. The found out what was the problem we had with the toilet and fixed them up. I did not have any problem with him. His responsiveness was very good and he seemed to be very professional and knowledgeable. His price was fair for what he did. I probably would use him again in the future.

The experience did not start well. The gal I spoke with was very professional, but I didn't hear her mention a two-hour window, what I heard was we'd be the second call since I had to be at my son's school for a conference. I was told our tech would be at the house by 10:00. I phoned the company at 10:30 and learned that there was a two hour window. I was surprised and said I didn't hear that in our conversation. The gal at front desk said she could reschedule our time for next week - I asked if the tech could come a bit later. This would allow me to get to the conference and still have my disposal replaced by dinner. She said she would call the tech and see if this would work. Was told he would arrive at 11:30. Still no tech. He finally arrived at noon. Our plumber was professional and seem to know what he was doing. The job took 1.5 hours, which I was surprised by as really the job was to replace the disposal. Disposal was finally replaced and running great. However, today (3/5) I went to run my dishwasher and it was not draining the water. We knew the water ran through the disposal somehow. My husband got under the sink to see what was going on. Turns out that our plumber didn't punch out a piece of the new plumbing in order for the dishwasher to drain. Maybe my expectations were too high as I felt for $142 in labor everything should have ran smoothly.

$35 for material, $190 for two hours of work, plus an "equipment" charge of $15. Seemed to go well. Nice repairman. Proof of how good the repairs will be can't be determined for a few weeks or months.

The plumber was punctual, courteous, and professional. We are very satisfied with the service. Also, the cost very reasonable and they honored the Angie's List discount.

It was a straightforward repair. Jeff opened up the sheet rock to expose the pipes and made the necessary repairs. He was done in an hour. Not including travel time. And I wasn't charged a penny for that which I thought was excellent! I understand the cost of running a business and I believe the $15 charge for getting the truck and supplies to our home was very reasonable. I will call Patterson Plumbing again. Thank you guys.

Very professional on the phone, repairman was clean and neat in appearance, protected our flooring with a blanket, was very professional and courteous. Over the years we have had many different homes and investment properties and we have used a lot of different plumbers, this was by far the best plumbing company we have ever encountered.

Nick called to say he was on his way, was on time. Fixed kitchen faucet and then bedroom, bath, and toilet. I asked him to check other 2 toilets in his house, fixed them too! Cleaned up after himself. Very polite and helpful.

Nick was a little bit late. Called and said he'd be a little late arrived right after he called. Was very polite. Mindful of not damaging or getting anything dirty. Worked very well and quickly. I'd definitely use Mike Patterson again.

The experience was great. The scheduler called quickly, Nick showed up on time, and he took the time to explain clearly what was wrong. He did a good job fixing the drains and minimized the impact on the looks of our bathroom. We definitely got more than our money's worth.
