ProDrain & Rooter Service

Our line from the kitchen disposal through the main clogged up on a Saturday, off regular business hours. I called Pro Drain and the office person was very helpful, and told me she'd have a technician call me back shortly. I received a call from Jeremiah within 10 minutes. Although I am far out in the Sandy area from them, he told me to give him a two hour window and he'd be at our home between 5 and 7 PM. He arrived at about 5:15 and immediately went to work under the sink. The pipe would not unscrew to insert the power snake and he had to cut it, which he did. He removed the clog, then quickly replaced the cut piece, and tested everything for leaks. He even fixed an old sink leak. What a breath of fresh air this company is for the bad rep plumbers get and in many cases, deserve. Their prices, trip charges and overtime charges were realistic and bearable, and their technician was professional, quick, and polite. A HUGE thumbs up, and they are highly recommended to anyone.

They had an appointment cancellation shortly after I called and asked if I could meet them at our house. I arrived at the same time as the repairman. He was able to locate a foreign object down the drain and dislodge it quickly with a toilet auger. They did exactly what the were supposed to do when they were supposed to do it. I was delighted with the service.

Water was coming from the floor drain in the basement when I attempted to wash a load of laundry.

They did not seal the hole in the wall where the line passes into our house. After heavy rains, the carpet was soaked. Water had seeped into the house through the unsealed hole, down behind the drywall. They came back out and sealed the hole. The room smelled bad, and there were already signs of mold. I had to make all the arrangements to get the carpet dried. I am bitterly disappointed in the work and lack of customer service from this company. It is bad enough the Greg didnt think that sealing a hole in my wall (it is below ground level) would be important in keeping water out. Worse still is their complete lack of concern for the damage they did, the inconvenience they caused, and the possible damage to their reputation. The never apologized for their mistake, they made me do all the work for arranging for repairs, and failed to return calls in a timely manner, if at all.

The plumber came at the time stated, was very quick and efficient. He fixed the leak problem in outdoor faucet, checked the other outdoor faucets and showed me the shut off valves in the basement. He was very professional and courteous.

Water was backing up into my crawlspace. I called ProDrain to examine the storm drain which I knew was draining poorly. First they snaked it but tree roots and a poorly configured pipe blocked that from working. Next, they dug up about half the pipe which was completely root-bound (an incredible sight!), reconfigured the pipe so it will be snake-friendly in the future, and replaced the pipe. (Andrew dug, sawed and chopped roots for over five hours on a bitterly cold day.) Finally, they made another trip to send a plumber under the house to check on the water situation and the status of the crawlspace drain (which drains into the same storm drain). They needed to do some more digging outside the foundation and correct some problems. I was thoroughly impressed with all the employees; very personable, polite, and professional. I will call them again. (I called them in the first place because of the positive reports on Angies List.)

They were fast, friendly and affordable.

I was given a two hour window for arrival time but Tyler called me 30 minutes in advance so that I could leave my work and meet him at the house to minimize my wait time. Once he arrived I explained to him my concerns with damage to our main line and he immediately brought his sewer camera and started the process. He explained any potential problems he saw along the way and video taped it for future needs. He gave me recommendations for dealing with the issues and was on his way. He was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and friendly.

We were having a party for 20 people that night and I realized in the AM our disposal was not working. They said they would be there between 3 and 5 and they were there at 4:30. Unclogged the drains, made it all work perfectly and the guests didn't know anything was wrong. They were terrific.

Another good experience to add to the others. I would hire them again (but hope I don't have to).

We called the company around 9:30 on Tuesday morning and Amiee asked if somewhere between 1 and 3 pm would be all right for George to come over. I was not expecting same day service and was very pleased to be able to say YES. He was one time and it took him very little time to unclog our drain. It was a pleasure to do business with him. Fast, efficient, and not expensive. A real treat.

As I mentioned above, we're thrilled with the entire experience, including the great price. I highly recommend!

The contact at the office was very friendly. She was able to schedule someone immediately to get the bathroom functioning again. Andrew was also very courteous, had clean, new looking equipment, got the job done quickly, and neatly. He charged a very reasonable $69.00, and was on his way. Ty came out later with a video tool that can show you the condition of the pipe, and pinpoint on the surface where to dig, when you see damage.Ty recommended digging it up, repairing the pipe and removing the roots. Since it was under the driveway, backfilling would have to be done with gravel, compacted all the way to the top(6ft). He gave me an estimate of $3200.00. I could not pay that much and I would except no compromises to make the job cheaper. As I have done this kind of work professionally in my younger days, I rented equipment and did it myself. The following survey reflects only the sewer line auguring and the video inspection.

I left a message with Pro Drain's answering service, but it wasn't replied to promptly the following morning, so I called the company directly. The representative was very nice, and she immediately scheduled me for an appointment just three hours later. The Pro Drain employee (Jer) was early and very polite. He listened carefully to my description of the issue (very slow draining in the kitchen sink; standing water in the dishwasher; a vent pipe was overflowing in the basement) and got straight to work. He used the snake on both the kitchen and then the floor drain in the basement, and cleaned up when he was finished. The whole process took no more than 45 minutes. I really appreciated that he double-checked after he used the snake the first time; we would absolutely have run into trouble in another few weeks if he hadn't!

Other than thinking I had initially hired a plumber, the job was eventually done correctly.

Our kitchen sink clogged during Christmas dinner. We waited until after Christmas to get it fixed. I contacted Prodrain and Rooter Service, and they came out the same day. Mario was 5 minutes early. He cleared the sink drain, and then cleared a slow draining for the washing machine. His total time here was less than 20 minutes. The cost was right on with what I was told over the phone. Mario was a great Christmas present.

Excellent! Both drains are fine, the work was prompt, professional. I really appreciate how accommodating they were to get me in right away, instead of my having to face the weekend and Christmas day having to wash my feet separately after I've taken a shower. This company is great--this is the second time this year I've had them out--for different drains the first time--and they are just superb in every way.

I came home for work at the beginning of the 2 to 4 pm time window and the plumber had just pulled up as well. 30 Minutes later I was back on my way to work with a free flowing drain. This was after about an hour under the house with my snake (in 35 weather!), 5 gallons of boiling water and $20 of liquid drain cleaners that didn't work. As someone with more experience than I care to recall at cleaning out my own piping I can't recommend these guys more highly.

I have used Prodrain before to unclog a bath tub and had a very positive experience so planned to call them for my plumbing needs when the time came. This experience was equally satisfactory: I had a 2 hour appointment (not a window) but the plumber phoned that morning to ask if he could come early. He arrived promptly, worked efficiently, cleaned up after the job, and was pleasantly engaged throughout.

We had a clogged kitchen drain. We tried to clean up with both Zep's clog remover and our little auger. Both did not work. Then I called Pro Drain on Monday morning. They called me back at noon and made an appointment at 3-5pm. Jim showed up at 3:00 and cleaned up the drain within 30min. He also gave us suggestions on how to avoid clog in the future. I'm very happy about their service.

At 10:30 PM my basement drain backed up last night and stuff was coming up in the basement bath tub. I checked Angies List for a drain service and saw the good reports on ProDrain. I called and got the answering service. They said they would pass on the message. About two minutes (literally!) later I got a call from ProDrain staff who offered to come out that night or make an appointment for the next day. I made an appointment for my lunch hour and as I pulled up to my house ProDrain was right behind me. The work was done in less than an hour and at half the price of other drain service.

I called Pro Drain in September for a clogged shower drain. Jim came as scheduled the next day and cleared the clog. When I next showered I still had a slow running drain. It turns out that the setting on the shower head that I use is different than that used by my wife. At her setting it drains well but at my setting it backs up. I called Pro Drain and they sent Jim back. He cleaned the drain again, went farther and got out some more hair which was clogging the drain. No charge and apologies for not getting it all. Fast forward about ten weeks and the drain is starting to run slowly again. I called in expecting to have to pay for another cleaning. Jim came out and rooted the drain, removed clogs and all for no charge.

It was great. He was on time, did the job quickly and professionally, and cleaned up after himself. Compared to other companies quotes, Pro Drain was a lot cheaper.

Excellent! I had tried to snake the drain myself, but could not remove all of the clog. Andrew efficiently finished the job. My six year old daughter was interested in the process and he happily explained everything he was doing. After he snaked our bathroom drain and tested it, he tested our laundry sink drain by filling the washer and spinning out the water. He was knowledgeable and professional and a pleasure to work with. (He also showed up right on time.)

I called at about 8 AM, they set an appointment for between 9and 11AM, and showed up shortly after 10AM. The drain was clear and we had our kitchen back by 10:45. Fast, inexpensive, dead on to the estimate I was given over the phone, and the tech was polite and very careful of our 2-year-old daughter.
