ProDrain & Rooter Service

Excellent. I was glad I had Pro Drain come out same day vs waiting for the previous company to return in the morning and try to "jet" our stoppage at a discounted rate. It was a matter of having multiple machines to choose from and Mario used a larger and more effective one right off to get us clear. In particular, I appreciate Mario taking the extra time to inform me about the importance of using snakes first and that "jets" use high pressure which can sometimes cause additional line damage with older homes/lines like ours. I'm glad I used Angie's List evaluations and went with Pro Drain the same day after an earlier failed service call. That earlier company we've used for a long time has A's for service but B's for cost on Angie's. I called them and said Pro Drain resolved the problem in half the time and it sounds like they'll cancel the earlier charges.

This clog has happened before (several years ago) so we knew to call a rooter service. I checked Angie's List first, and ProDrain had so many good reports I decided to call them. It was a little before noon and they told me to expect the technician between 3 and 5 pm. Jeremiah was at my door at 3 pm sharp. I explained the problem and showed him the washer. I asked a couple of questions regarding where he thought he should start the process, then he went and got the equipment and went straight to work. He protected the surface of my washer with a rag beneath the feet of the machine. Ten minutes later he was done. We tested it by draining the rest of the water from the washer and the drain ran great! Start to finish it couldn't have taken more than 30 minutes. I was exceptionally pleased with the price, too!

I'm going to have them back once a year to do the same work.

I love the flat fee. I was very impressed with the work. It was scheduled same day. He arrived on time and completed the job very quickly.

Called Pro Drain and they made a same day appointment within a 2 hour range. Mario, the plumber, was punctual, polite, and professional. He fixed both toilets in about 45 minutes, was very clean, and even gave me some advice on how to fix a faucet problem on my own.

Prompt, efficient, reasonable priced, described problems.

Mario arrived right on time. He worked quickly and expertly. He opened the clean-out under the kitchen sink and snaked the drain. Spilled water was cleaned up by a shop vac. The under-sink area was left clean and the drain is open and functioning as it should.

Mario the plumber was polite, and explained all aspects of the work being done. He made suggestions which will save us money on the water bill. Within an hour of our phone call, he was at our door on a Saturday afternoon.

Mario came to the house and was nice enough. He managed to unclog the drains on two sinks, but was unable to fix the tub. Instead he broke the tub drain mechanism and told us there was nothing else he could do. We were left with a broken tub drain with various parts removed and various parts lost in the drain. Mario said we would need to call a plumber to replace the mechanism. He took the old hardware with him. A few days later we got a plumber to the house and found out that the best way to repair this tub would be to repair the old hardware. Unfortunately we didn't have it anymore because Mario took it away. y wife called ProDrain and asked for our hardware back, and Mario said he threw it away and then asked if my wife and I had a "communication problem?'. This was a horrible experience and I would strongly recommend that anyone wondering if RotoRooting is a good idea think twice and call a real plumber. I certainly won't be making the same mistake again.

I thought I was having a problem with my storm drain, so I called the guys and they said they could be out the next day. They gave me a 2 hour window and arrived within the time frame. I showed the guy the problem and he went to work right away. Turns out it was only the downspout, not the storm drain at all. He finished in about 10 minutes and left me feeling rather silly (not his fault at all.) Charged me for the hour as it was the minimum.

Prodrain did a very good job,they came out the same day that I called. I made the call about 8 am. and they were at my house at 11:30 a.m. The job was finished in about 45 minutes. They left no mess and told me what they had done.

Called to see if PRODRAIN could clean a plastic corrugated drain. Woman who took the appoint assured me there would be "NO PROBLEM" cleaning the drain. Per my husband's suggestion, I called back to ensure they had the right equipment to clean the plastic corrugated drain (we had tried other contractors who didn't have the right equipment). She assured me it would be possible. When the worker showed up he COULD NOT clear the drain. All in all, a huge waste of time.

They were fantastic! I called at 9:00 a.m. with a tub that was completely clogged. We are having major work done at the house, and this was the only bathroom available, so we needed help as soon as possible! Aimee managed to fit me in that afternoon. When I let her know that I wouldn't be able to be there, but that my contractor could let her people in, she told me that they'd call when they were done with the total cost, and that I could then call the office with my credit card number. I was off the phone by 9:04, and my drain was fixed by 2:15.

Tenant complained of clogged drain. I called and they came out next day and removed a bottle cap that had got stuck in the drain. Prior to this, I think I spent $60 or so on drain cleaner with only marginal results, so Prodrain was certainly good value. They showed up exactly when they said they would. Excellent experience. Their motto if fitting, "We clean your drain - not your wallet."

They came out the same day and did a great job and the price was reasonable.

I accidentally overstuffed my garbage disposal and clogged my kitchen drain. I made an appointment with another company for a plumber to come out later that week, but a couple of nights before my appointment, a pipe under my sink started to gush water and flood my kitchen floor. I called Pro Drain, as they offered after-hour services, and Mario came out to my place within two hours. After about 15 minutes, he had fixed the problem and only charged $104, which I thought was very good considering it was an emergency after-hour appointment. I highly recommend Mario and Pro Drain.

I called in morning and just before noon Taylor arrived promptly on time. He was pleasant and professional. I appreciated that he took the time to ask lots of questions and explore the plumbing system to figure out the plumbing "anatomy" of our 1929 house. He figured out where the problem spot in the line was, and in 90-degree heat snaked the line via the vent pipe from the roof. His first attempt was blocked at the point he figured a blockage occurred. He switched bit sizes and this time made his way past the obstruction, but didn't dislodge it. He determined that something solid was lodged in the pipe (probably from a remodel done 3 years ago). The second snaking cleared the line enough for us to resume use of the plumbing, but we have had to schedule a plumber (same company, different guy) to come out a week and a half later to cut out a section of pipe, retrieve the object, reinstall the pipe & add a clean out. My only complaint is the 8 day wait for the plumber. To be continued.

I called one week early to make sure I could get an early morning appointment since I work full time. Jer came at 8AM sharp. Turns out that the main problem was that one of the other pipes on my "Y" connection was partially blocking the drain. Jer cut the pipe down to size and snaked the drain as well. The drain runs beautifully now--better than it has since I bought the house. Worked quickly and was out in 30 minutes. Price is reasonable. $69 dollars for the first drain and $35 for each additional.

Clog of food bits was removed and drains flow freely now. While the job was done just fine, the person was unable to answer questions we had about our toilet occasionally backing up--it's an old house with an ancient toilet...got the feeling he was a junior person who only did drain clogs. But it worked out OK for us, as the toilet was not our reason for calling.

Great, done in 15 minutes, removed a mega-hairball! Problem solved.

They had to come back out to fix something.

ProDrain was excellent and professional. They scheduled an appointment for the following morning. Andy came at 8 AM and was very respectful of our home (wiping feet, cleaning up after himself). Andy also took the time to explain what he was doing while he was doing it and explained what we could do to prevent future backups. We had a great experience with this company!

He came in to do the job and quickly was able to improve the flow in the bathroom pipes. I had reported that the sewer pump had been running non-stop; but it must have burned out, as it was completely dead. He brought out a colleague with more experience and they replaced the sewer pump promptly and then tested the system for me so we were sure that the system didn't need to be flushed as well.

Clogged shower drain. I Cleaned traps and drain from tub, while husband went under house to inspect possibilities. Concurred that plumber was needed. Called number ProDrain gave on Angie's List, my after hours call answered by a call center was returned in 15 minutes with a verbal price quote of the "after hour" call. Jer arrived within 30 minutes of that call! He was very professional, in uniform, and with a company van. Was very knowledgeable and well equipped to handle the situation if it was worse that it was.

They were easy to communicate with, did a good job, and I would use them again.
