These guys are great. They are professional, easy to work with and very accommodating. I have also been happy with their prices.

Pro Drain and Rooter was very helpful to us from start to finish. We smelled a terrible smell, and feared that we had a sewage leak, so we called Pro Drain. This was during the terrible snow storm AND holidays, but they called back immediately. They let us know that we would need to have a sewage clean-up company assess the situation first, but gave us some recommendations and offered to coordinate their plumbing job with the clean-up. When Pro Drain found out that the clean-up company failed to keep in touch with us (this part of the story needs a different review since it's a different company), Pro Drain stepped right in and took the lead with the clean-up company so that we would know what to expect and when. That in my opinion is above the call of duty! Greg from Pro Drain arrived promptly right after the clean up was complete and fixed the problem, resulting in us not having to be without plumbing or water for any length of time. He also inspected to make sure that there were no more similar problems under the house. From Greg to the Pro Drain office staff, this is a professional, first-rate company.

Really nice well-informed person on phone, told me that I didn't need the more expensive service that I'd thought I needed. Came out within an hour, cost 1/3 of what I'd expected to pay.

Our garbage disposal, sink and dishwasher drains backed up on Christmas Day. We tried to clear the clog with a 25 foot drain snake, to no avail. This morning we called ProDrain at 7:00. They had someone here by 1:00 and the drain was cleared in 20 minutes. As he was going back to his truck we ran the water in the sink and there was a drip from one of the pipes. We ran out, called him back in, and he replaced the dripping pipe connector at no additional charge! ALSO his van got stuck in the snow on our street and he had to put chains on to get all the way to our house. THANK YOU FOR NOT GIVING UP AND LEAVING US WITH A CLOGGED DRAIN!!!

This company did a very thorough job. They did what we had asked them to do. There was no damage to our property. We were happy to have the work done.

He came the same day. They unblocked the sink. They charged the fee they said ahead of time and the man was very pleasant. They were fair and honest.

They came on time and they were quick. They got the drain moving and didn't charge very much money. They were friendly and answered my questions. They cleaned up the area while they worked.

This is the second time I have used Pro Drain and will not hesitate to use them again! They keep you informed as to arrival time, completion time and the exact cost. This is a top-notch company!

ProDrain efficiently found that the problem was more than simply a blockage and quickly shifted to diagnosing then correctly what turned out to be a completely failed drain pipe.They kept us informed every step of the way, worked quickly and expertly, solved the problem, and cleaned up thoroughly afterward. Pro Drain was prompt and did the work exactly as bid, all on a Saturday. We will certainly use them again.

Contractor first came and scoped our line with a camera to see if the break was on our side or the city's. There were breaks on both, so we were advised by contractor and the city to coordinate the work so we could save money. The contractor told us that they would handle coordination with the city. However, the day before the contractor was to begin work they called us to ask if WE had arranged for the city to be there that day! As it turned out, the city was able to quickly arrange to have workers there the next day, which is almost unheard of; we were very lucky. In replacing the sewer line, the workers broke our water line, which they had told us was a possibility. What they didn't tell us, however, is that we would have to wait 24-48 hours to get the water line repaired. So we had no water to the house for a night and day which we were unprepared for(and we have kids in school). When they reinstalled the water line, they had some difficulty and made unnecessary holes in our basement walls trying to find how to get the water line snaked back in. I called the contractor a few times with questions("What's with the extra holes? Are you guys done? The water line seems to just be hanging in the closet. Are you going to patch around the hole in the foundation wall?")and the owner was very apologetic about some of the mishaps and very willing to answer all of my questions. They did come fill the foundation wall(but not the extra holes in the dry wall)and secure the new water line to the wall and clean-up outside. Their work seems to be holding up well and I understand that they used high quality materials. One final snafu was that the final bill I got was $300 higher that the estimate for no apparent reason. When I called about it they said it was a billing mistake(they had raised their rates since they gave me my bid).

The company has an answering service for after hours. I had to call on Friday night for Saturday service and left a message. The guy called right back and set an appointment for a two hour window the next morning. He called once to let me know how his schedule was going and when he would be there. He arrived when he said he would, quickly snaked the drain, offered suggestions on how to help not getting it clogged again. He was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. He cleaned up after himself nicely.

From setting the appointment to the discussion of our options Pro Drain rated A in all categories.

We had an issue with our drain pipe not draining properly. It had gone on for several years but got to the point where we had to finally cave in a do something about it. Pro Drain were very professional and did a great job. We now have no difficulty with our downstairs sink clogging.

The work was done on schedule the morning after I called for an appointment. Jim was very professional, caring, and diligent about his clean-up.

We called them and their guy arrived within hours. He cleared the drain, explained what was causing the problem and what we might do differently and was on his way. Easy, painless. The guy even had a sense of humor! We've used them many times since that first time about 7 years ago for our 50 year old pipes.

I found the company here and sent an e-mail on a Sunday. The company called Monday morning and set up an appointment for later that day. The service staff arrived ahead of schedule, performed the work and gave advice on how to avoid the problem in the future.

The crew showed up promptly. They broke up my sidewalk and dug up some of my front yard, removed the old pipes (cast iron original from the late 1920s) and installed ABS lines. The drill putting in the water line missed the existing connection by about 6 feet, so they drilled a new hole through my basement wall, then ran ABS pipe around the wall, drilled through a finished wall, and ran the pipe up that wall on the outside, leaving an unsightly pipe on a finished wall. They did a good job of replacing the sidewalk, but the lawn was not restored to anywhere near its pre-job state. They piled a mix of dirt and turf into the hole, but diverted some to a hole under my front walk (not in the job specs) and allowed some to fall over a retaining wall into a bed. My gardener rescued some pieces of turf and put them on top so they could grow back. Within days, a substantial hole opened up in the area they had dug up, it went down quite a ways. When I called and complained, they tried to tell me it must be a sewer rat digging out. I called repeatedly, and after about a month, Andy came by and dumped "2 buckets" into the hole, which did not come close to filling it. He said he would come back and add more soil, but he never did. Finally, a friend filled the hole for me, it took 8-10 shovelfuls of soil to fill.

I was pleased with Pro Drain's work and with the sewer scope. It was a little spendy, but OK overall. My only problem was with the professionalism of getting the invoice and bid. I was asked that I paid for the work at the time of service with my credit card, and asked the worker to email and snail mail (my printer was not working) me a copy of the invoice, the bid and a receipt for payment. He took all my information and told me to expect the invoice in a couple days. After waiting almost a week, I called Pro Drain for the invoice and bid information. I was very frustrated because I needed the bid in order to continue with negotiations for the house purchase. Turns out the person who usually takes care of this stuff was out of town, and apparently the worker just handed it over to her, but because she wasn't at work, nothing got done (except of course, the processing of my credit card). After calling they sent me an invoice without a bid, that was full of typo's and mis-information. Finally, after talking to, and walking the person through the invoice (telling her about the typo's etc), they got an invoice out to me with a bid on it. The person who was taking over this job was unfamiliar with the computer system used to make invoices. My guess is that this was an unusual and unique situation, and in general they show more responsiveness and professionalism.

Cleaned out the one drain and then for $5.00 more, checked all the remaining drains around our home.

I think it was a really positive experience. They told us what the cost would be over the phone. I wasn't home at the time, but I think my husband was really pleased with them.

As a realtor, I called Pro Drain to conduct a sewer scope for an inspection on a home sale. My regular guy was booked and I needed someone the next day because of time constraints. They said they would be there between 1:00 pm-3:00 pm, but they didn't make it. No call until 3:30 pm after we had all left the site. All other sewer inspectors make a specific time appointment and understand the urgency of home inspections and the tight timeliness we are on. They also were going to charge $50 more than my regular guy plus charge me a $4 gas surcharge ($154).

The job was flawless. They were on time, courteous, helpful, and quick. They took the time to make sure the job was done correctly. We will call them again!

Water was overflowing out of our front gutter/down-spout. Pro Drain came, assessed the problem and cleared it. They also checked to make sure our main was OK too.
